CAPTAIN Plixy[Stix]
It's frustrating when you point out that if a fetus was aborted, it wouldn't really care because it didn't even know of it's existence, couldn't feel, or think. But the pro-lifers seem to ignore that instead of thinking in the feti's POV.

If you want to play the "not existing" game, just think about all the babies that WOULD NOT have been born if their moms had not had an abortion when teens or young adults?

I know at least four or five people who would NOT exist if their mothers had not aborted at a younger time in their lives when they could not raise a child.

Suck on that, "don't kill teh fetus" people!

The ironic thing is that pro-lifers who pretend to "POV" the precious fetii lives don't even remember the first 3 years of their lives, much less remember what it was like to be a fetus.

your hippocampus, the area of the brain relating to memory, isn't developed enough to have a capacity for permanent memories until about age 3. Many people don't even really recall the first 7-8 years of their childhood, even.

I'm a strange bird because I CAN remember my very first birthday, and I do remember certain things from when I was 3 years old, but I am an oddball who has a sharper than average memory from the populace (I never have to read over or re-study the same material for school). Either science hasn't fully explained the picture of the human brain, or I musta remembered it through "a memory of a memory" from when I was 4 or 5 years old. Realistically, others with a psychology background would attribute this to false memories as theoretically, people can't remember past their 3rd birthday.

I always thought that area of the brain might be tied somehow to reading, but that's just me. I started learning how to read when I was two, and I have some very vivid memories from before I was about five, and the rest is kind of blurry, but past age five I remember normally. I'll have to look into brain development now and how reading affects it. ninja
