Xiang explained as best he could that he couldn't feel for Azami what he was sure she had wanted, she didn't say it but it was there all the same, Xiang didn't have it in him to share Renem with anyone, not in that way." I love Renem and you pups, you are my everything, the best things that ever happened to me."
Fiara knew her fathers were probably going to be mushy all evening now, unless they remembered dessert, she let them alone but focused on her brother.
"I don't care if you want time to yourself Jayce, there is nothing wrong with that." Fiara maybe didn't fully understand how far his lonerness extended outside of family. She decided that she was going to search out Azami and have a talk with her, have her not be so pushy with Jayce, the rosey female didn't know all the reasons behind it, didn't understand, so she would make her understand.
"So what else is new with you Jayce? You and Uncle Jedrek getting along and all?"

he lowered his head slightly in a small nod. showing he understood his sisters words, and replying to her last question
"as well as anything I expect." he looked up at his sister, crunching down on the last of his Fish "you know how uncle Jedrek can be. we don't do much of anything, say much of anything. but even so, I do learn allot from him"
Renem Blushed, nuzzling into Xiang "you know just what to say" he said softly,
"and you sure know how to cook to my love."

"Well that's good then, I expect." Fiara was feeling lighter after her decision and wondered if Jayce was up for some nighttime fun, "Hey, do you wanna play something with me? If you're up for some fun that is." She was on her feet and urging her brother to romp with her to get his mind off the days frustrations as much as just having some fun together like old times.
Xiang smiled holding his mate close, "I mean it too, my heart." He placed a kiss on Renem's face and then giggled "I know my fire," he kissed his mate again accepting and thanking him for the compliment. "All that time playing with it payed off I guess."

"sure, I could use it"
he was pretty tired from what that day, but spending time with his sister, never fell into the category as "a drag" and she did come up with fun games to play, ever since they were children.
"what do you wanna play?" he asked, setting his dish down and leaning back onto his elbows. glancing sideways at her.
Renem giggled at Xiang kissed him. "was it hard to control when you were youing" he asked curiously. in a quiet, content voice.

Xiang was silent for a moment as he thought about that, "No," he answered in a soft voice, "it was all to easy, I just over cooked things for the fun of it..."Fiara caught her fiery fathers' confession with backed ears as she was walking away from the camp with Jayce, she wasn't bitter or upset to hear that he had found his power easy to control in his youth, they had discussed this before and she had come to terms with it all. Xiang was fire after all, he was in his element while she was on fire. She was working through the complications as best she could.
"Let's see, tag, hide and go seek, or we could play tic tac toe or checkers, or if you are feeling up to it we could fluff out a round of 'tumble chase'." Here she grinned at her brother in a childish way referencing the game that had no set rules nor point system that she had spent countless hours refining into a romp of nonsense that was sure to frustrate even the calmest, most patient numa.
She paused to show she was kidding and then looked to her brother, "You pick the game, I've got to many choices to pick one."(think a mix of calvin ball [without the random 'let's hurt the other guy' bits] and 1000 blank white cards)
