OOH! OOH!
So, after school while waiting to go to the high school for marching band, a friend of mine asked me to pick a song from her Broadway book to play on her clarinet. Naturally, I picked the title song, and our band director was just like, "No, no! Caroline! Play it like this! *imitates the daaaaaaa-da-na-na-na-naaaa(er...the main theme)*
I was like "Wha? You like Phantom?" Ms. Naumann said it was her favourite musical of all time.
Well, I pretty much learn something new about my band teachers every day, I guess.

I've grown distanced from some of my old friends since reading the book. Made new friends and have amazing memories of old friends.
Just today I found out the person who sits next to me in Geography is a Phan. Who knew?

I was in P.E. and we walked in the wrestling room for the first time. My jaw dropped as I looked up at the ceiling. Hanging on the ceiling were many plastic pink flamingos hanging by their necks. I point to the flamingos and shout out "OMG, ITS LIKE IN PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! THE PHANTOM PUNJABBED THE FLAMINGOS!" There were a few minutes of silence, and then a few people, who happen to be my best friends now, said "...you like phantom?" I said yes and the rest is history! ^^
Oh and this isn't exactly phantom related, but someone was talking bad about our school's Drama program and suddenly half of the people in the class, including me, turn around and at the same time shout, "What did you just say about Drama?!" (The way we said it was like we said "You did not just say that about Drama!") We looked at each other and laughed. Fun times... ^^
Edit: Now there is only one flamingo left up there. I pointed it out the other day and the class laughed, remembering that day.

I haven't lost or gained friends from liking Phantom, now people just think I'm officialy crazy, and my friends just poke fun at how obsessed I am.(their fault, they were the ones who introduced me 3nodding ) Though, the other day I brought my Complete Phantom of the Opera book to Drama Club, and my teacher 'bout stole it. Then I was telling one of my friends about the chandelier in the different productions, and some guy comes up to us and starts a conversation with me about Phantom of the Opera. Apparently,he is also a fan and saw it both on Broadway and Las Vegas. mad
