This is basically a more specific example: I know many people who make threads in the GD and Life Issues to get problems resolved, because they don't feel they can talk to anyone in real life 3nodding So, Gaia can provide confidentiality in embarrassing or personal subjects. I mean really, who actually likes being embarrassed? sweatdrop -disappears- ninja Very true. People do not like being embarassed.Since it's in private they find it more comfortable and such.

i find it a fun place to go to get a great laugh
usually i come here when im upset
ex. earlier
and someone can make me feel better

Gaian's grow and learn here. Whether it's about themselves or about other cultures, I'm not sure if this has been said already but it's true. It has happened to me, I mean, I've grown as a person and those whom I have to on Gaian see me as someone older than just 14. 3nodding

I personally come for friendship. I have quite a few friends on here and I love you all (you know who you are heart ) and I look forward to talking to them each day, even if all we do is say hi to each other and talk about Gaia. Or talk about nothing. I love people! And I totally agree with everything Sly said in this thread!

It has happened to me, I mean, I've grown as a person and those whom I have to on Gaian see me as someone older than just 14. 3nodding age isn't an issue. it's maturity. If you have enough of it, and of certain responsibilities, you are an adult, regardless of your age... although it is best to also let your brain develope entirely first.
