Playing the game as Sephy would be too easy. Not unless the did a pre-FF7 story line where you played a Sephy. And since I only have FF7, I wouldn't know if they already did that.

I prefer the image the game has given Sephy, and would like to keep it that way. It's been mangled enough as it is.

umm i think the people that make ff7 is thinking of doing that.

I hate Sephiroth with a passion, but that's because he killed Aeris... I mean... you really have to be a evil, cold-hearted b*****d to kill Aeris... Enough Said >.>... ******** Unnatural...

As for a game though (I hate Sephiroth, but a game of any kind is an extremely attractive idea to me, when based in FF7), I think Sephiroth is kind of overplayed, Villain or No... It's a Great Idea, but an Entire Game for him is just overdoing it... I mean, Maybe as an Unlockable Side Story, or Character, but not an Entire Game.

What I would like to see, is another Active Battle Game like Dirge of Cerebus, but with alot more than Just Vincent... I wanna see Some Cloud and his Freakishly Oversized Sword, Cid's Spear, Red's... Pin... All of them... and With a Multiplayer thing too... Just because I would love to Go online and Blow Some people away With Blade Beam XD... Super Smash Brothers Style XD

With a Game like that, or even with an Entirely New FF7 game, possibly introducing a new Character, as horrid and Hard as that would be with the Story Pretty much Sealed except the Future of it, Adding some new Depth, Weaponry (Long-Hilt Zanbatou, or A ChainBlade Perhaps?) Even Some Conflict between a New Characters and the Old... We all enjoy warping time and space for insane science fiction every now and then right? XD

But yeah, Enough of my ramblings... On a Sephiroth game.... Neh... He's Overplayed, Villain (As EVIL as he is) or Otherwise (He's referenced/present in... Well... Everything... Except Fan-Fiction or something I haven't seen before)... A Unlockable Side Story, or Character, in another Kick-a** game? Works for me... I'll make him proud even though I hate his guts >.>

That's actually totally Understandable, Twindream... The Only reason I mentioned Extra Characters, is because the story, Should another add-on be made, is being stretched... Sooner or later, Should the Expansion Continue, newer Main Characters would soon be introduced.

I also Agree somewhat on the FFVII Compilation being stopped; I mean, there are one or two things I am very anxious to see...

1) I want to see a New FF title... Perhaps FFXV or something XD, based in the FFVII Universe, but a FAR distance down the timeline of that universe... Supposedly after the Planet had healed... We're talking Centuries later... The Main Characters would no longer be around, and Of course a new threat against the world would be created... But it would be with New Characters, In an Entirely New Plot, with just a hint of Nostalgia and In game Reference... In fact, I think the only character that MIGHT be alive, would be Red XIII or Vincent... otherwise, you may have Offspring or descendants of the Original "AVALANCHE" members (Posts Sector 7 Group XD) Appear in the Story, bearing striking resemblance, but a difference from their Ancestors... Or have Noticeable Mentions, like You have to Go through the Ruins of Midgar, With Tales and Lore of how the Ancient City of Midgar fell and about the planet's saviors and so on... XD

God, I would love that game, just because of the way it can approach the Universe we all love without actually interfering with anything from the FFVII Story XD

2) Simply an Active battle Game.. Besides DoC... I wanna Take a Giant Sword out on a Rampage... Each Swing and Combo Chain I Control with Button/Skill Combinations... Somewhat like Star Ocean: TTEOT, but with a more 3rd person View like a Shooter, and More of a Untransitioning Battle Phase...

Otherwise, I'm in complete agreement, that as many possibilities as it can offer, the FFVII Series should stop... It's a Great Saga, and there's no use adding directly to it... Although I would still like to see the Universe used again possibly, As said above ^^

With the hack where you can have sephiroth in your party i think in order to do that u cant have vincent in your party. But then there is another hack where you play as vincent so this way you could play as vincent and then have sephiroth in your party. That would totally rock and bring sooome major pwnage. I have also heard of a fighting game wear you can play as sephiroth or cloud but i dont know waht it is called. I saw it at a gamestop once but i didnt have enough money to get it and when i went back to get it it was gone. That was a couple years ago so i dont remember what it was called.

If you're talking about Ehrgeiz, that was AGES ago. Sheesh.....I saw it at Gamestop one time and was tempted to buy it, but why buy something so pointless? You just control a few FFVII characters, punch and kick with a few special techniques and you're done.

That would be so cool I would love it!
