This is not about giant robots shooting lasers from their massive metal vaginas, but instead about codex: Armageddon.

Lt. Brookman Well, some people have been waiting a wee bit longer for this news now sweatdrop At least 7 years in my case... Once they're up for pre-order I'm planning on getting a complete squadron of three in one go. this is exactly what is wrong with apocolypse not every single unit in every single army has the big guns by doing this and making them as cheap plastics every single gaurd army is going to have one in it and thats just wrong you want your army to have something big and specail should dig deep and cough up for it and make it that specail unit it is supposed to be

@menoftanith- Learn how to use periods. I ran out of breath trying to read that.
@Xander- Lt. Brookman was commenting that this thread is about Codex: Apocolypse, not Bubble Gum Crisis or any other random non-40K topic.
And I forsee large amounts of Basalisks and Medusas creating ungodly amounts of indirect fire and such. I mean, you could easily field 10 Basalisks and have them upgraded for indirect fire and it wouldn't be out of the ordinary. I'm begining to think that people are going to start fearing the Imperial Guard... (This is assuming that they bring up the maximun limit of Heavy Support choices.)

Actually, I think that this gaming format will make it easier to use multiple detachments, not raise the amount of force organization slots per army list.
As for the reply of "menoftanith": Guess what? Not everybody is blessed with access to large amounts of money or a credit card, so I applaud this move of GW.

The likely move for GW if they do decide to release super heavies for every army, will to be to space them out over time. Though I think it's more likely that some armies will get the super heavies, and others might get smaller new units, if any at all.

@offtopic: old BGC! it rules! and it is amongst main inspirations for tau (hence crisis battlesuits) and as for the Apocalypse I would love multiple orbital strikes for =I=, not just 0-1 some concepts for Witchhunters involved mobile cathedral on tracks... plain crazy, but it would be impressive if ever made...

Please don't make me post the Oxford Concise. Two times in one week is beyond a joke.
Consider that your model is more detailed and probably of a higher quality, not some mass-produced piece. You pay for what you get.
And for the record, I do have a job, even though your statement was aimed generally or towards Brookman. I feel that some of the prices FW make are rather expensive. However, compare 7 Krieg troops to 7 Death Guard metal minis. Metal has a higher quality than Plastic I think, more rigid details that aren't lost. Resin is similar to that style. The prices are also somewhat similar.

And yes I have a job, I work hard for my things but I am not going to delve into the magical path to getting a credit card etc. Now back to discussing codex: Apocalypse already!

Yeah, so I'm keen on a new stompa, if only for conversion purposes. Something about fielding any Ork unit in its stock configuration just rubs me the wrong way. razz menoftanith theres only afe wluxuries i allow myself and my baneblade is one of them and i waite 2 years befoer i got that so i think i kind of have a reason to be pissed at gw doing this Good thing you don't actually or we'd be in trouble. You made your choice, now stand up and take it like a man, you big baby. rofl
