True dat.

Actually, I would like to see some improvements where the game (IMO) lacks a little bit.

I.E. The mini games.. They're fun, and a nice break from all the fighting... But within playing them a few times, they get insanely boring, because there's not too much too them.

But the thing about Square is, if they did go back and remake it (like any of them have the time to) they'd take a long a** time doing it, fixing up stuff and improving, etc.

Remember how long AC took?

Look how DoC pales in comparison because they didn't take half as long. Sure the cut scenes were great, but...the gameplay...

...Back to point. If Square ever found the time to, (despite Crisis Core, and all the other FFVII compilation games, they'd still need to work on XIII, and Nomura wants to work on KH and his other projects) there would have to be an overflowing demand for it.

VII is their baby. It took them a long a** time to even think about making Advent Children.

All we can do, is hope and wait.

Perhaps to modes of play, classic mode, that sticks to the story and everything. And an open ended mode, like Chrono Cross, with a secret that allows you to play as Sephiroth.

I think it'd be a cool idea. Its their most popular game, it'll sell really well for sure. And if they do, I hope they keep it all the same, except for better graphics of course.

I think they should Remake FFVI... then everyone would be able to look past the graphics and realize how much of a better game that is. don't get me wrong... I still want and FF7 remake... but I want FF6 exponentially more.

I personally think they are pretty much equal, I like them for their own reasons.

FFVI is fine how it is though, you see it'd probably would never be remade because it'd be hard, doing a 2d game in full 3d, you have to figure.. it'd be an interesting experiment but it could fall flat, because FFVI was a 2D game to begin with. I personally think FFVI is fine how it is. FFVII though is in 3d, and the 3d is horrible. Unlike FFVI's richly detailed graphics.

Thats just my thoughts though.

SQAURE is already making ffVII over. I'm pretty sure its going to be for the psp though...

FFVII was the best ever, and it would only get better if they made it again but with better graphics for all the awesome summons and spells.

I think a FFVII remake would be awesome. Plus, it's be a hard thing to pass up on Square-Enix's side, because imagine how much money it'd make them to remake one of their biggest hits!

EDIT: Plus, I've been dying to play FF7, only that all but my third disc is lost, and FF7 is so hard to find these days since it is no longer being made, I would love to finally be able to play it again without spending 30-60 bucks on eBay or similar, just for an old PS1 game. confused

i think they should make a remake of FF7 with the same storyline but a bit extended . i dont even mind the graphics. it was an awsome game but just a little short i also think you should be able to get a higher level than 99 because at the end it was too easy to get level 99 and i couldnt even get the last limit omnislash because i hadnt gotten climhasard if they make a remake of FF7 they should let you get a higher level

No. They shouldn't change the storyline at all, unless it's something that's already been established. Adding on to a story is one thing, like with Advent Children, but you can't go messing around with what comes in between. That's my main concern if they do remake it (which they probably won't).
