Sorry, I am new to this fun game. sweatdrop CBDB = Colin Baker Defense Brigade Mainly, it was a gang of Aussie Who fans that teamed up to help Six win while systematically killing off the rest of the Docs one by one. Don't even ask what ROOBARB was. You don't want to know! Edit: It seems like some of the newer members are interested in restarting the game in some format. While I think having a new game with Doctors and Monsters/Villains would be cool, I agree with Roobarb that (as currently proposed) it's probably too complicated, and the rules should be hammered out a bit more. How about this... someone start up a thread using the old rules, which people can start playing immediately. In the meantime, we can all give Crumpet Lord some feedback on a new (and potentially complicated), dice-based version that may or may not include baddies, and once that is ready, we can have both games going on simultaneously. I don't think having two games is bad, so long as the rules are different enough from each other.

Roobarb So the monsters might win the Ten Doctors game? No, the monsters are there to stop the doctor winning. They come in waves of 3 against the doctor. You heal your favourite doctor and hurt the monsters, and if you don't like the doctor, you heal the monsters and hurt the doctor, each doctor fights until he is dead(regenerates), and at the end, whichever regeneration killed the most monsters wins. Capice?

Actually, wouldn't Ten end up winning just because everyone would end up regenerating into him?....
gonk Better to not follow that line of thought.
And I'd like to play the original version... A lot of us haven't had a chance to play it, and we're not so bored of it we need the Slitheen or whoever to make it interesting. It looks fun. You were throwing around all this banter about "Jug Ears poncing off" and McGann's hair, and... looks fun.

CBDB = Colin Baker Defense Brigade (no, we didn't name ourselves..) = Us. Vaguely speaking, it includes.. Timelady42, isidar_mithram Evarinya (me), moonlightswan (haven't seen her round in ages..), Die_cucco (computer problems..)...nhizlikia...
Well, that's the majority of us. Then there are others, who decide to join us every so often. I think, at the start that included isadora_arya, or one of her accounts. But that got annoying..and then they ganged up against us for something or rather..
ROOBARB.. I agree that it's quite..well, you probably don't need to know.. I've forgotten what it stood for.. Revenge on other baker and ...?
And then there's.. what was it..? PTRF or something? No idea what that was anymore.

ROOBARB=Revenge On Other Baker And Recorder Bard RevengeOn= We formed ROOBARB because the CBDB and PTURF were killing the good doctors (mostly 10, but also slightly 9) OtherBaker =Colon (the one that isn't the famous one, Tom Baker) And = A connective meaning in addition to Recorder
