Les Claypool uses a Kahler locking system and floating bridge on his bass. I think it's a doorway to creativity. That's only because I like Kahler bridges. Floyd Rose just doesn't cut it.

Intresteing, but unneccesary
looks pretty cool but if its cheap enough why not
though the thing with those Floating bridge/whammy bars, is the Tuning really does just go all over the place.

that's why kahler tremolo systems are amazing... they dont go out of tune... they aren't floating systems... they are sick..

washburn made a series of basses with a crappy trem. bridge, i personally think that tremolo on a good bass would be freekin sick! wink
