I'd most likely get torn up if I played a serious match.

That's pretty much why people like the OP glitch. When I play in any game, I play to win- player or ranked match, it doesn't matter. When you have morons running around glitching, it pretty much ruins the fun from a competition standpoint.

halo_master
Besides there is a point to glitching and it's called "fun". :3 Maybe you've heard of this concept?

If you're looking for fun, do it in a way that's not going to ruin it for other people. I don't have a ton of time to sit around and play games. When I do get to sit down and play a multiplayer match, I sure as hell don't want some jackass ruining it for me by glitching. Go create a passworded room, and do it with people who wont have a problem. When you do that in public games, you're basically just telling everyone "I'm a jackass who doesn't respect other gamers." But then again, it's not like you would care, because your whole condescending attitude towards Keon227 showed me well enough that you're a regular jerkoff. I'm sure that sounds bad with me being so blunt about it, but I mean, the first thing that came to mind when I read your response was 15 year old e-a*****e.
He adopted that attitude towards me at first, although more subtle. I simply took that "aggressive" attitude and put a sophisticated and logical spin on it. He could have easily just stayed out of this topic, but he had to come in and insult me. (I'm not an idiot, after all. "have words" means that he thinks everyone who glitchs is a ________ and ________, and he doesn't know anything about me or how/when I even glitch. Never even asked me. He also called me cheater. That was the big insult. Assuming I do the roadie run glitch, you know what I do with it? I run in ******** circles. Maybe I'll shoot 1 or 2, but only if my team has died and there is enough of them. I'll never use it to win the round.)

I only glitch in player matchs and only when I'm with at least 1 friend OR if the other team is glitching. Random exceptions include: Host is a s**t talking jerk. "*I enter room* You suck d**k ********." Why? He was rude to me when all I had done was merely enter the room, so I return the favor until he boots me.

Unranked rooms with your friends to glitch in kick a**, and sorry to the random guy who joins and gets glitched to hell. Nobody said that person had to stay in the room, you know. As for serious games, that is what ranked is for. Doesn't get more serious than that. (Which is why I play ranked more often. Less glitchers, no team killing. It's what ranked is for. Unraked WILL have these things no matter what which is one major reason ranked games were developed, besides the fact that people like to have proof that they kick a**.)

By clearing things up, you've given me more respect for you than I had initially. I still hate it when people glitch, but at least you're not one of those assholes that do it regularly because it's fun for them to aggravate people. So on that, congrats on being cool, and sorry for being an a** earlier. sweatdrop

Yeah, I went on a glitch ride with Halo-Master and he did just run in circles - I was watching while I was dead. xD

It was funny looking, actually.

I almost managed to glitch out of that map in the mansion place I think... but right when I got up on that stone I got taken out. xDD

You guys still have to play some FarCry with me. I can't host a room because I guess my connection blows - even though I never lag...

I have actually made the sniper invisible, and and I cannot shoot it, or look through its scope.

And I have got it so that it looked like I was revving a chainsaw, with my sniper.

Press A + B + X at the same time when picking up any weapon.

To disengage the glitch change your weapons.

lol, Halo 2 is nothing compared to this. XD

Then again, Lost Planet is like a glitch factory, so *shrugs*

I don't think you should teach others to glitch. It only proves your lack of skill and idiocy.

1. How does it teach lack of skill?
2. Why? From your point of view, I mean. Idiocy is a point of view after all.

Counter:

1. I have Seriously. After 10,000 kills it's basically an understanding that one would have at least some skills. I also don't glitch in Ranked matchs, which further proves that I've got skills. Don't assume that because I know how to glitch that I use it all the time.
2. Personally I find you an idiot for being so blatantly rude, without even knowing the full truth, in a topic you didn't have to enter let alone post in.

Also, if someone wanted to learn how to glitch they don't need me. You can just search YouTube. There is a clan that has dozens of videos that illustrates how to perform glitchs.

In light of that, if someone wants to glitch why not do it with a friend who already knows how? Either way, people will find out.

Get over yourself and your jealous, elitist attitude. Don't forget to take your ego down a notch as well.

Jeez.

Congratulations, you have ample friggen time on your hands. Good for you. but glitching in general is very bad. I have no problem with it in player matches. I find it to be fun at times in unranked. But if you teach it to others, there is a very good chance that you will teach someone who will do it in a ranked match.

for example, I had two guys who joined a game of mine. They didn't talk, they were in a private chat. They did the running glitch in ranked on Gridlock. They were horrible at it, as were the idiots.

The only glitch I ever use for a real purpose is the chainsaw roadie run when some one camps with some cheap weapon.

But whatever you do, if you don't do it in ranked, there's no problem. But I'll admit that I use it to screw with people, though I shouldn't, and if I saw myself using a glitch, I'd call myself a cheap b*****d, cause I am at times. I'm not elitist, but I think that glitches are only ment for fun, NOTHING else.

Have you ever done a glitch where you suddenly disappear from your screen? I had it happen to me on Fuel Depot. My friends could see me on their screens, but I couldn't see myself.

Actually I played for an average of 3 hours a night on weekends since the game launched. XD I just get 20 kills in a five round match alot type of thing...

Exactly. Glitchs are for fun. Falling through the floor of the mansion is entirely useless and results in your death...big deal, you know?

I only play ranked when one of my friends is online, cause most of the people in ranked often are idiots. But normaly I play 9-19 rounds.

And some glitches, such as Roadie run gltich, and hiding under the map on fuel depot.

lost planet IS a glitch factory, 'cept you have no control over who does the glitches and when and where they happen. it's random. you bend over to pick up a weapon and you stand there with your a** in the air telling other players, "hurry up and fu**** choot me already!" the reason, bad connection. case 2: probably the worst glitch to mess up a rocket match. rockets that fly a couple feet away from you (in rare occasions) kill you, and your body flies into an expose' of wierd spasms....

cheating online is like staring at paint there is no point in it and it really makes me mad when people cheat online i have some words i can use but i wont.
"Cheating" isn't cheating when it's in player matchs. O.o (Doing it in Ranked matchs isn't cool at all and I hate it when people do it there.)

Player matchs are uselessly useless, with the exception of getting a group of friends together to decide what ranked they're going got play, and the occasional bought of laziness that dicates not wanting to find your friend's room every game. (Although it is still easy enough to get a group together in ranked, even with the new patch.) I mean, the competition always sucks, the room never stays full because of people quiting after getting owned to hell, and putting up will all that crap doesn't even go to your leaderboard. It'd be like working at a dead end, uesless, boring job without getting paid.

Besides there is a point to glitching and it's called "fun". :3 Maybe you've heard of this concept?

Infinite smoke tagging will never get old. rofl

So you go ahead and use those words. wink (I mean, it takes a real genius to come up with the idea of calling people names over the internet. It really affects the other person.)

Sidenote: Anyone have access to a Lost Planet guide? I don't feel like searching -everywhere- 3 more times in the other difficulties looking for Target Marks, lol
Exploiting is still cheating, regardless of the situation. You play player matches so you can play with your friends using team work. Smoke tagging is annoying and people running around and shooting at you is annoying. It's not fun for the people being affected, just for the JACK a** doing it.

There's a time for glitching, and a time for playing. Glitching should only be used when the consensus is messing around, no other time. You think otherwise, then I'm glad I'm not playing with you.

Hence the reason I only glitch with friends or when the other team has glitched first.

Did you not get the memo? Er, sorry, quoting movie lines...

Did you not read more recent posts? O.o

IE. Some jerk chainsaw glitched my friend in front of my eyes. Viola. I chainsaw glitch him right back that instant.
