"I've smelled licorice before and didn't like the taste either, but this is different, stronger, bad or something. Thank you for not going in, though I'm sure you didn't want to as much as I didn't or you would have gone in too." Xi felt silly and was rambling a bit, as they moved away from the strong smell of the Swamp the air grew sweet and a little cold. "Wanna go play in the coconut snow while we wait for Jedrek to come back?"

Renem could breath easier now that he could smell familiar land. But the ghost scent of the swamp lingered in his nose, making him feel a little ill.
“oh” he started, getting snapped out of his thoughts to turns his head a little to the side to better heard Xiang “I would like that a lot actually. I don’t think I have ever been there before” he said. He hoped it smelled nice

((I figure these places are really not that close together, but... Anyway Xi can easily feel even a slight drop in tempture because of his hot body?
in reference to my last post, Xi doesn't like the smell of coffee, molasses and licorice which is what I'm guessing the Swamp smells like, Jedrek didn't smell strongly enough to bother Xi cuz he'd not had coffee in a while?
Don't mind this, it's mostly just notes for my cloudy brain. it's too early.))
Almost as if reading Renem's mind, "It smell really nice, clean and sweet." Xiang was happy to be spending any time with Renem, the sky pelt male just made Xi happy. "It's a little cold though I hope you don't mind that." He wanted to add that he wouldn't mind keeping Re warm, but he thought it was too forward to say. It's hard being shy~ Xi kept them walking south for a little while before their paws touched cold and slighty crunchy ground.

He just smiled at the mention of how it smelled, looking forward to something nice.
He blushed a little when Xiang mentioned how cold is, was and shook his head softly hair flopping into is blank glowing eyes.
“no… I-its alright, I’m with you after all”
Renem did noticed very easily how much warmer Xiang felt compared to other Numa he had met, it was a comforting feeling. Renem found himself drifting close and closer to Xiang as they walked. His cheeks still flushed pink.

Xiang noticed the pink flush to Renem's cheeks and wondered if he felt cold already, he smiled and lifted his wings creating a sort of warm air umbrella.
As they walked deeper into the snowy land, flakes started falling from the sky, everything around was covered with a blanket of cold and it was very quiet and peaceful. Xi's first reaction was to comment on how beautiful he thought it looked, but instead he closed his own eyes and tried to take it in as Renem did, with his other senses. He thought it smelled wonderful, but it was much to quiet, no birds and the sound of the river was missing, just a blanet of hush. Xiang wanted to be a kid again and break the silence with the sounds of laughter and play, he giggled remembering sliding down a hill over and over when he'd come here before; so many times that the warmth he created made the snow melt in the path that he had taken up and down the hill.

as they stopped he just stood, and took in everything he could about there surroundings. he imagined that is Xiang was not there it would be very very cold. he smiled softly, great full that Xiang was there.
thought he amazing silence was a bit unnerving for Renem, the smell and the feel of this land was nothing he had ever experienced before. and he loved it.
he turned his head to the side as Xiang let out a giggle. not realizing how close he was to the other Numa and as a result brushed his nose against Xiang's cheek.
blinking surprised Renem Blushed and quickly turned his face down to the ground. not saying anything

Xi felt Renem's nose against his cheek but thought nothing of it, well not nothing, he liked being close to the other male, but Renem's reaction made Xiang wonder. He swallowed and sidestepped so that he was facing Renem and brought his own nose down to touch the other males.
"Renem? What's the matter, it's okay if you touch me I don't mind. I-I... like you, so I think its okay that we're close, and even if you don't like me like I like you, we can still be close, because we are friends, right?"
Now he was blushing too, he couldn't help it what he had just rushed out was what he really felt and he had to say it, because otherwise it would eat him inside.

Renem blushed very red at this. and for a moment, he was unable to talk. opening and closing his mouth a couple of times. he finally just closed his mouth. and with a step forward he nuzzled his face, into Xiang's neck and shoulder. holding him.
"I... I like you to" she said weakly "I... I always want to be close to you"
after a moment of silence, Renem lifted his head up brushing his nose along Xiang's cheek and though he missed, gave Xiang's nose a quick kiss "I always want to be close to you"
though now a little Embarrassed for speaking his mind, he just brushed darker and buried his head back in Xiang's shoulder

Xi was just as red as Re was, while he held onto the night sky colored male his eyes teared a little. He felt as if he would fly away if Renem wasn't holding him down, then he had an idea though he didn't know if it would work or not.
With one powerful downstroke of his wings Xiang lifted them both off the ground just a little so that they were floating, he beat his wings again and again but didn't make much in the way of upwards progress, so he lowered them again. "I'm so happy Re, I could just pop."
He rubbed his own head and neck along Renem's and then hesatating just a little he licked one of Renem's dark chocolate flavored horns.

Surprised to having suddenly no contact with the ground. He Clung to Xiang until they landed on the ground again. He smiled and laughed a little at the comment he made. Nuzzling Xiang back.
Renem froze however, when he felt Xiang lick one of his horns. Eyes going wide in surprise he just stood there in shock.
It was like a dream come true. And it did not take to long for him to decide what he wanted to do. Nervous he would miss; he just followed the familiar sent of cinnamon. And carefully, and gently licked, smiling slightly, tears coming to his blank eyes as he tasted the cinnamon of Xiang’s horn

Xiang blushed warmly "I thought you'd taste like chocolate," Xi whispered into Renem's ear, he nuzzled his nose into the fur behind his loves earfins. "Will you stay with me forever?"
Xi wanted to cling to Renem longer, he let the other male go but stayed near his side. The snow beneath their feet was melting and if they lingered in this one spot any longer they'd be standing in a puddle soon.

Renem pulled away slightly, faced turned down slightly.
"I will..." eh said quietly "I don't ever want to be away from you"
at that he let out a soft, but happy laugh. rubbing his eyes his the back of his paws.
he was so happy right now.
"um" he started blinking confused "if it just me of is the ground getting wet?"

"It's not just you, its me actually, I'm, uh, melting the snow in this spot." Xi admited with a laugh, he nudged Renem a bit and moved on from where they were standing. All too soon snow would fill in the meltly hole that he had made but in his mind Xi thought that spot would always be special and he would not soon forget it.
Though little time had passed since they'd left Jedrek, the Coffee entered Xiang's thoughts. "I wonder how Jedrek is fairing..." As they walked along slowly, Xi's thoughts on the zombie numa slipped out.

feeling Xiang move from the spot he moved as well. walking on the snow was very very odd. but he liked it. it was soft. cold est. but he didn't really feel it at the moment. keeping close to Xiang. knowing very well how easily he could get completely lost and stuck in a place like this. that and. he just wanted to be close to his love.
he thought about Jedrek. nearly forgetting he had gone to the Swamp
"oh... I'm sure he's alright. he said he was from there right? plus he sounds like the type that would be alright in a place like that... kinda smells like one to" he chuckled softly

Xi giggled, then became serious, "He's gonna smell like that swamp when he comes back out... we should find something to mask his smell... maybe we can bring him here and roll him down a hill~" He giggled again to show he was kidding, but he thought rolling down a hill would be fun either way.
If Re voiced his concerns about getting lost, Xi would answer swiftly that Renem had not to worry about that because he would always find the other, no matter what.
"Wanna try something fun?"
