"I don't come from anywhere specific either, but I'm going somewhere. I've been going there rather slowly though, and you wouldn't know I was 'determined' to get there," Ammy told her new friend, "But I'm sure once I get settled in there, I too, will be an expeditionologist, leaving to explore the lands and only returning now and then..."Ammy enjoyed Kia's terminology, it certainly added plenty of life to a conversation, no matter how silly it might have seemed. Ammy rather liked silliness, when she could get away with it.

 Kia's head tilted to a slight degree as she listened, a spark of curiosity flying to her green eyes when she heard of Ammy's journey.... a journey that wasn't entirely clear to Kia and therefore ignited a desire to know about it. she grinned
"You're going somewhere?" she said with an enthusiastic tone "Where are you heading? Maybe I've been there!"
Kia grinned, how fun it would be if she knew of the place Ammy was going so she could tell her of it. If she didnt know then perhaps Ammy could tell her about it. Either way it was a good situation

"My mother used to tell me it's a wonderful place!" she said, excited to be talking of the prospect of a new place. "She told me that the big landmark to find it was a large amount of huge rocks, so big, you could see them from a day's walk away! There's animals of all species there, and the territory's large enough to support everyone who could ever wish to live there," Ammy told her. "But I'm sure that, eventually, I'd get tired of being there all the time. I'm sure I'll wander around, but always go back," she said. She was certain the land would be enchantingly beautiful, and she'd always be drawn back, no matter how much she tried not to; judging by what she knew of it.
((If Kia has been to the pridelands, could she not tell Ammy the name? I want her to stay a bit in-the-dark. xd ))

Her expression brightened as Ammy began to describe a place that was very familiar to Kia, she had spent the bulk of her life there and enjoyed its plains more than anything she had yet seen.
"Yes" she said with a wide smile "you'll never miss the big pointy rocks, iots quite picturesque... I'm sure you'll love the place... I do!" she nodded as if to emphasize this fact "Like for example, if you stand on a hilltop you can see for miles and miles on end, almost as if you were looking into a sea of plains and watching them swallow the setting sun" she paused to think of something else most wonderful about those lands "and you can run for miles without having to slow down!" yes. that seemed wonderful enough.
"but.. I must caution you on one area" she said seriously now, her tone and expression were somber "do avoid the hyenas, they are miserable sufferable creatures" her eyes were large as she spoke, motioning towards scabbed over wounds from her adolescance that were marking her shoulder and her paw "come in contact with one of them and you will be in trouble"
She looked completely serious, but then added "dont worry though ammy, they are hardly out unless you are looking for them and if you should ever encounter one while I'm nearby I should be able to hear if you shout and I will come to your aid" she smiled. She was certain that Ammy would never need her help, she had only stumbled across a hyena once, but she could never imagine facing the idea of a creature like a hyena with out some sort of backup. Ammy could easily navigate the lands without ever putting her in danger, but even the most cautious or lucky deserved a fair warning

Ammy nodded gravely to Kia's warning. This wasn't the first time Ammy had heard about hyenas, but she took it to heart. Nobody else who had warned her had actually had an encounter as Kia had. They always "knew someone who knew someone who had a hard time with a hyena." Amaterasu knew she was no match for a hyena, should she be cursed enough to have to fight one. She was too small to stand a decent chance alone, but she'd always thought she'd be able to outrun one if the occasion ever popped up. She turned her thoughts from this to What Kia had said about the lands. Changing the topic, Ammy asked amazed, "You've been there! That's awesome! I've never actually talked to anyone who's been there. It sounds better than I expected!"

"Oh it is wonderful" Kia said with a dreamy look lingering in her green eyes. "It has anything anybody could ever want, unless you are the forest sort of creature that is" Kia appreciated the fact that Ammy was a wanderer like herself and wondered if she too would be caught in the wonders of that land that she seeked like she had. As a juvenile those vast plains were her source of adventure and now its wonder was nearly spent, only one destination within still was to be seen. If it wasn't for that she would have been much farther from those lands than she was now.
"I'm sure you'll love those lands Ammy," she said simply with a smile "They're certainly vast enough to satisfy even the most avid expiditionologist at least for a little while"

Ammy nodded. She felt the need to get going again, but she would miss her new friend greatly. She knew that eventaully, the two would have to set off on their different paths. Ammy gave a little bow of the head to her new friend and said, "I am truly glad to have met you Kia, but I feel that I must start my traveling again. After I settle in a bit, I'll start wandering again, I'm sure. I hope to see you again." Ammy turned and padded off reluctantly, cementing the memory of their meeting in her mind.

Kia's lips turned upwards into a smile as her new aqquiantance walked away, sincerely hopoing for only the best and brightest in her future
"Farewell and have a good journey Ammy!"
and with that she sat back on the ground and began to oogle over her perfect rock again.
