With her dagger kicked away Devi just stood there at first debating on wether or not to draw out her second blade. But she decided against that seeing how easily the girl in front of her disarmed her the first time. When the girl first spoke Devi thought that the girl was reffering to herself being the murderer of the man behind her. Then Devi noticed that the guns weren't pointed at her anymore but rather behind and to the left of her. Devi slowly turned to see the faint outline of another form moving about in the shadows wether they were human or vampire Devi couldn't tell.

At the sound of a gunshot, Bender dove behind a wall for cover. The shot struck several inches the the right of where he was, but the spark would have iluminated him, so thankfull that he hid, Bender drew a shurikin and crept closer. staying in the shadows he sees the glint of a blade flying through the air, followed closely by the clang of it landing on the floor. This followed by voices.....do they know eachother?. This thought was quickly dismissed as he noticed one of the figueres was pointing her guns at the other. Many courses of action passed through his mind, he decided on the patient one, he would wait there, for them the act.

In the deep shadows of the alley, the girl in the sweatshirt stayed silent, feeling the door finally behind her. Her only thought had been to get away, but for some reason she paused, listening to the exchange between the two. Obviously neither of them was the murderer... or else one of them was a very good actor. She knew little Charlie would be back soon with a few... mutual friends, and that knowledge gave her courage. Gripping the handgun more tightly, she slowly tilted her wrist until the barrel of the gun was pointed straight at the approaching girl, though her arm was not raised. As an added precaution, she mentally reached out for the nearest water main, which happened to be running beneath the alley between herself and Matsuko.
"Who's asking?" Her normally clear, high voice rand a husky contralto in the dank alleyway. The homeless man finally awoke, and, sensing the tension in the air, scuttled backwards into a hiding place. The ceiling lights were few and dim in this part of the tenth district. Other than the light spilling in from the street behind Matsuko and Devi, the only illumination was from two sputtering strips, neither of which was near the girl. Her dark sweater and deep grey-black pants blended into the shadows around her, light only reflecting from the gun-barrel and her hard emerald eyes.

For a few moments, Matsuko thought the figure wasn't going to answer and was just about to fire another shot when the woman's reply cut through the alley, breaking the silence. She could see the light glance off the barrel of the girl's gun and took a cautious step forward, lowering one of her guns but keeping the other trained on the woman. "Matsuko." she replied, knowing the name would most likely have no significance to the woman. She cleared her throat, thinking about how she could question the woman without asking her directly if she was the murderer. "Did you see who killed that man?" she asked.

What about me?! Thought Devi. Don't they care about who I am? I could be the murderer for all they know! As Devi was thinking about this and getting angrier with each passing second the girl, who she heard to be called Matsuko, took a step forward leaving Devi behind her with her back exposed. This only infuriated Devi even more. Am I that harmless as to be completly ignored?! I'm a bounty hunter...I should be shown more respect then that... Then as an afterthought I need to get a gun! Yeah...I would be more intimidating with one of those! Caught up in her day dreaming Devi, in her inexprience, completely forgot about what was going on around her and stared off into the distance thinking about how people would notice her if she had gun.

Fool, she thought to herself, noticing the girl, Devi, slip into daydreaming. Instead, she focused most of her attention on Matsuko and her gun. That she had lowered one gun showed that she probably no longer believed her to be some manic killer who would come leaping out at her, but that the other barrel was still aimed at her made it obvious she wasn't too trusting. A piece of loose gravel skittered before her booted foot as she took a step forward, not much into the light but near enough for it to be obvious that she was not covered in blood. She knew she hadn't killed the man, he'd been dead when she'd arrived, but maybe this Matsuko knew something...
"No," she replied, shaking her head slightly, her gun still not wavering; even if she hadn't killed the man, it didn't automatically follow that she was trustworthy. "But then, I was about to ask you the same question." With her free hand she gestured at the rest of the alleyway. "Maybe one of them saw something; though from the condition some of them are in, I don't know if they were in consious or sober enough to really see anything." Though most of her face cannot be seen, one could hear a slight, wry grin in her voice. However, tension underlied it. Standing in a small, dark alley with edgy bounty hunters was never a good idea for someone like her...

"when I'm inside, I don't want to be recognised" she said, walking inside. Her eyes had to get used to the darkness, but eventually she pulled off her wig, her long black hair falling down immediatly. She pulled out a paper. "I'm for the pacifists, and I need some guns, well atleast one.. I can't tell you what for, this letter is proof" she said, frustrated because of the gun on her head. Wasn't a customer king? or queen in this case? then she shrugged it off, realising that in this time, you couldn't be to sure.

Matsuko heard the tension in the womans voice and realized this arrangement was getting nowhere fast. Slowly, she lowered her other gun, putting both into their holsters at her sides. "I still havn't gotten your name." she reminded the woman, just to let her know she still didn't completely trust her. - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - -- - "So, what kind of gun are you looking for?" Back at the gunshop, Zak was flipping on the lights but he kept the windows drawn. He seriously doubted the girl knew anything about guns but it didnt really matter to hime either way as long as he got paid. I wonder if the pacifists are planning something. He thought vaguely, hoping it wasnt another attack on the council building. His gunshop wasnt too far from that part of the district and the last bombing had started a fire that had nearly reached his shop.

Sherida gave a look outside and chuckled. "nothing with bombs, that's something I can reasure.. No, well, I'm not really into telling things nor buying guns, but their.. no never mind.. all I'll say is that it's nothing with bombs" she said quickly. Then she thought. "something that doesn't need a quick reloading, I don't know if they'll be happy with machine guns but then they don't have to come to me to get gun's" she said, starting to talk to herself. Then she sighed, and blinked. "nevermind, so do you have a machine gun, or multiple?"

A glistening off to the side caught Devi's attention and snapped her from her day-dreaming. It was her dagger. Just laying there on the ground. Devi looked over her shoulder to see if either of the two girls was paying any attention to her...which they wern't. She quickly walked over and scooped up her blade and turned around to face the other two. Heh heh heh. With her back turned I can catch her by surprise. Devi thought with an evil grin Then she will realize the mistake of ignoring me! Devi stalked up behind Matsuko and was about ready to deliver a devestating stab but stopped seeing that niether of the two had thier weapons pointed at the other and that most of the tension in the air was gone. Devi, wanting to know what was going on, stepped next to matsuko in time to hear here ask for the others name.

(( O.o;; I dont know anything about guns.... ))
Zak seemed to consider for a moment before shrugging and crossing to a shelf on the other side of the room. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a large ring of keys before unlocking the large display case. He pulled down two guns; one, a larger, more high powered machine gun and the other, smaller and less powerful but easier to conceal. He briefly explained the differences to the young woman, wondering what they were thinking sending her out to get the guns.

For a long moment, the girl was silent. She seemed to be weighing something in her mind, calculating some obscure facet of the situation. Inside, her thoughts were slowing as the fight-or-flight instinct ebbed, but did not fade completely. The records are long gone, she thought to herself. Even if there still IS someone left who remembers, we're all assumed to be dead, killed by that vampire. Her eyes narrowed as her gaze flicked to the rather amuzing bounty hunter. It can't hurt to give this Matsuko person a little something... and it might get me some information. The only outward sign of this decision was the sudden disappearance of the gun-barrel that had been poking out of her sleeve, vanishing back to its hiding place. The girl stepped forward another pace in a calculatedly non-threatening way.
"It's Vena." Her reply was short, almost grudging, but it was a start. In the slightly better light, the pale skin that most dwellers in the sunless underground world shared could be seen on hands and the lower part of her face, and a single stray curl of blonde hair as bright as newly minted gold shined against the inside of her black hoodie.

As Bender watched from the shadows he noticed one of the three figures was moving away from the others. It was moving tword something shinny on the ground. Normaly he would have premted the possible future atacks from his pursuer, but watching seemed like a more entertaining idea at the time. As the figure aproached nearer to him, tword the shiny object now reconized as a dagger, he could see that the figure was a woman, not much else. It apeared as if she was about to atack the other two, but decided against it.
"Hmmm......she dosn't like she will be much fun on her own, mayhaps i should interject.", he whispered to himself.
Bender snuck up on his prey, she was oblivious. Thouseands of different scenarios flew through his head as they always did when he hunted. The one he chose was not the one his master would have, but it seemed best for now.
Moments later there was a hand over the mouth of the loner girl. She was being carried silently into the shadows...

((Awww...I'm the loner girl...just like in real life crying lol))
Once again niether has asked for my name!! Devi's thoughts screamed. If they weren't going to ask for her name then she wouldn't tell them. But if I did have a gun like these two, they would see me! In Fact...They would cower before me! Hehehe. So Devi slipped back into her day-dreaming world of hers, which was starting to become a very bad habit of hers, oblivious to the movements behind her. By the time she noticed it was too late. Her mouth was covered by a cold dead hand that Devi knew right away belonged to a vampire and was being dragged away into the shadows. To her dismay matsuko and Vena didn't seem to notice. Damnit!! They don't even notice I'm gone! Infuriated, Devi kicked back her leg drawing out her other dagger as her foot slid past her hand towards her unknown kidnaper.

Sherida bit her lower lip. Then she thought about it. "the smaller one" she said with a determened look. They had to diguss what they were going to do excactly, because the pacifists were splitting up on this paticular operation. But there was no time to think about it in here. She examined the man, he seemed quit nice but she kept her mouth. Some things were better not to be said. Like the operation. Which made Sherida think about the operation again. Suddenly her eyes looked around and took the wig from the floor, brushing it off a bit.
