Conservative Christians were appalled by 9/11, so the atheist liberals called it a holiday.
Those sick bastards! Of course you're forgetting that some hardcore liberal atheists and some hardcore fundimentalist Christians (strangely enough) both claim that the U.S. somehow deserved 9/11 and that it was God's "divine retribution" or in the case of the atheists, some kind of ironic payback for our (insert appropriate term here) ways.

We should give little children weapons. I'm talking toddlers and the like with rifles and switchblades. When they get older, those that survive will see weapons as childish... and stop using them. Think about it! Muggers won't use knives because it'd make them feel like babies. Gangs wouldn't be cool if they shot people, because that's what kids do! Within two generations we'd have a world without weapons!
Except for swords. The adults get to keep the swords. After all, how much fun would the world be without swords? Can you imagine Seven Samurai or Yojimbo without swords? They'd be totally lame. As Bruce Willis proved in Pulp Fiction, swords are just about the coolest weapon around. Besides, we're going to need SOMETHING to protect us against all those children running around with assault rifles...

They dont like it when you bite them though. If you do then theres a little sparkly thing that they grab and it kinda stings and then you wake up in a not fun room.

I think we should encourage people to do whatever they want. The more self-destructive, the better. Then all the stupid people will kill screw things up, and other stupid people will get angry at them and they'll all fight and kill each other off. If there's any smart people left over, they can fix things... though odds are the planet will probably be uninhabitable by then. Oh, well. Bacteria will still survive... and can fix things up over the next few billion years.
It's really the only good solution.

Whenever I see a homeless person begging for money, I think, "They're probably just going to spend it on booze." Then I think, "Well, what am I going to spend it on? Oh yeah, booze!" I scold myself for my hypocrisy.

I am vehemently opposed to the death penalty. I just don't think it's right to punish killing with killing.
Instead, we should make those criminals become Morman. Think about it. Have you ever seen a Morman serial killer? Have you ever seen a Morman become ANGRY? As for punishment... they're Morman.
I was going to suggest we make them become Amish, but then I remembered that "cruel and unusual punishment" line from the Constitution, so that's out.

Did you ever notice that people like to show counterexamples to random thoughts, even though the random thoughts are merely THOUGHTS and as such normally aren't accompanied by solid evidence or any kind of caring whatsoever?

Did you ever notice that the anti-religious are the REAL intolerant one? For instance, I know a couple of religious people, and they wouldn't kill over being called Mormans. They'd only kill if I called them Jewish, which is totally understandable.
