ProphetSarcomeer seems like some sort of organization like this would be a good idea... i would definetly provide a chatterbox like area just for people who feel like spouting words... edit: the knowledge forum can include the facts forum... but there should be some rule that you have to state something like. "facts only" or... "not really historically significant..." there currently is a rule similar to that, says you have to state what your topic is about so you dont waste peoples time, so I could just expand on that rule.

Blood`Eternity Terraniaxe I like subforums #2 and #3. Though the fact forum is basically the knowledge forum just without many comments, isn't it? Well there is a difference between facts and historical, poltical, religious information. Facts are sometimes random bits of information that really can do nothing in life but be used to spew out randomly at people in order to impress them, or to come to a conclusion about something.
A number of intellectual people dislike facts for this reason and I think that perhaps seperating them could be a better idea, I dont know if we'll do it this way or not, it just depends on what you all think.
I guess we can name it something else, but the "Anything" forum xD I'll think of a better name that gives us that idea. Anything other than the stomache churning, dare I say it, "Chatter Box" forum.

You could make the chatter box a learning experience as well. Meet your guild mates. I mean that's what the REAL purpose of it would be. Find out interesting facts about the people you're debating w/ w/o interupting the debate.

how about a forum about games? existion of an offical game forum is positive, but here, provided it is the knowledge guild, we can talk more deeply about games and discuss gaming matters intelectually. it could be a good idea to attract hardcore gamers. and trust me, there are a lot of them. you could disscus the nex generation consoles and games, current generation, the importence of graphics and gameplay, wgar are the pros and cons of games, have a light discussion about a game... so much possiblities. so what do you say? i think it is a great idea. because atleast we gain some knowledge of it, right?

Personally I think we should merge Main and Disc. and Deb. forums into one, most people are doing one or the other in both forums, and they seem like identical categories.
@ the Games forum idea: Gaia's own game forums is good, and it would have very little to do with the spirit and idea behind this guild, we want discussion on things that might make our brains tickle a bit, not the tracklist for Guitar Hero 2 (Which I'm anticipating oh so much, hehe).
I could be wrong on that though.
My idea might be a current events, Global News etc. forum, that would be a large enough subject to put in a forum of its own, and would definately fit in, it might draw on discussion and debate and plain old knowledge, a good mix, no?
