Kai shrugged and began following. Even if they did wander off in the wrong direction, it would be better than no where. His eyes began skimming the forest cautiously. Though monsters seemed to be the least of his worries. At least not the ones around these woods. He followed silently with out saying a word. It was as if he where traveling alone again. But different, since he was looking out for more than just himself.

"Is she always that clumbsy?" Kai asked, walking over to Taerel and extending a hand. It was getting a bit darker. While his eyes adjusted quickly, he wasn't quite sure about hers.

Kai's feet seamed frozen to the ground, as his head turned slowly to watch her continue on in the path. I'm not sure about your human standards... But that is one strange girl. Yuri commented. Kai slowly nodded in agreement. "Strange indeed." A small smirk apeared on his face. It was getting harder to see with his sun glasses on, so he lifted them to rest over top his head, then jogged to catch up. He couldn't help but feel captivated by her. She just seamed completly different than what he would expect from a random person he met on the hill. "What kind of family do you have back at home?" He thought out loud. Then felt it was a mistake on his part. What if she asked him the same? That wouldn't be easy to answer truthfully.

Kai began to smile softly, looking down at the ground. Purhaps that comment really convinced him that his upbringing was never a normal one. Meaning that his life was underground compared to the real world. And he had finally found some one on the surface. What was the real world like? What are their problems, and how do they deal with them? These questions sparked his curiousity. Perhaps knowing some one who wasn't as paranoid as he or Yuri where would be good for him. This was something Kai was sure of. Before Kai could think of any topics, he glanced up the path. The school settled peacefully down the road. Kai cracked his knuckles, then lowered them to get a glimse of the school. "Looks like we're home."

Terri Wandered up the hill. She had left the Roof top on instinct. The same type of instinct her ancestors had passed down to her. Upon looking around she found that her instincts had been true.

The same young man from before sat alone on the hill, fire burning around him. Terri had never imagined that a person could be so sad and alone. All her life she had seemed to have found the bright side to everything including the death of her family but this was different.

Terri walked up from behind him. "You know that really is kinda cool." It was her real sentiment. She had never seen anything like it. "The fire thing."

Terri could really careless what he was wearing as long as he kept it on. "Thats okay. I've seen worse."

She sat down beside him and leaned back on her elbows. "At least you can control your powers. I barley know how to weave and have never been able to control anything related to being a seer." She stopped herself. Had she been to open with this young man? Told him too much? Either way she could not start wallowing in self pity.

Terri looked down at him with her usual broad smile. "Well then we'll just have to cheer you up now, won't we?" She started to worry that she was butting in to his life too much. Terri really didn't know him that well not even a name. "That is unless you enjoy being all emo when scene is soo much preferable."
