Naughty or Nice...?
Wingo watched the SAMs retract back into their holes. He was quite pleased with te display. Now he knew that the targetting system was working perfectly he opened up his computer again and activated the EWS Radar system. The system worked by having a radar scan the entire airspace around the island for 150nm, if an unidentified target appeared on the radar the defences would raise and start to track the target. If it was rated a thret it would be anihilated. He looked down at the radar screen just in time to see a blip disappear out of range. The blip made him uncomfertable, it was flying too fast to be a commercial airliner. He thought over the possiblity of spy aircraft under control of the twisted girl.

The plane's instruments begin picking up high power radar waves and the pilot decides to skip town. Already, he'd gathered huge amounts of vital data, and Lady Hyper would surely be pleased. He could smell the promotion as he carefully left the airspace. There was little that could touch him, but he was not about to get cocky.

Naughty or Nice...?
((Now if only this was a Sci-Fi, I could bring in a giant space laser or something to incinerate that pilot xd ))
Wingo left his office to walk down to the labs. The labs were situated towards the centre of the volcano down on the middle levels. It was well protected but got quite hot at times of high activity. He walked into the labs, but business continued. This was one of the only areas where soldiers were ordered not to recognise him entering a room, it allowed them to work undistrubed. He walked to the head and tapped him on the shoulder. He looked up and smiled. "Our, perfect timing Master Wingo! Come, we have made a break through!" He led Wingo to a large 2 foot thick pane of glass. On the other side was a huge room, about 50m by 50m. In the centre was a small table with a tiny device sitting on top. It was no more than 5cm round. The head of the Research and Development lab passed him a button. "You do the honours sir!" Wingo pressed the button. A huge explosion took place in the room. The fireball reached the glass pane and swirled up it. After the air had cleared the table was replaced by a tiny pile of ash, the walls had holes and dints through it like decayed wood. The device was no where to be seen. Wingo smiled. The weapon development was coming along nicely.

Naughty or Nice...?
((Oh, I'll be lasting alright! Research would also keep things interesting!))
Wingo walks back into his office, a little annoyed over the fact that he had been spied on. He may not have normally done what he was about to do, but due to his excitement over the two successful tests today and his annoyance over the intrusion he felt a little creative. He selected his most redundant satellite, which also happened to be the densest and strongest. He gave it some new vectors and sat back to watch his work. The satellite began loosing height, quickly. In a few minutes time he would be leaving a calling card.

Naughty or Nice...?
Wingo grinned as he watched the crater being left in the surface of the island via his satellites. He knew that things would only get worse from here. He made an announcement to his compund. "All stations prepare for war! Repeat, all stations prepare for war!" He also sent for the technicians to work over time on the SAMs to make the SAM sites mobile along underground tracks. He was told it would be done as soon as possible. Wingo grinned as he fingered the little red button on his arm chair that would launch his island into full offensive.
((I'm off to bed now, have fun with the clean-up! We'll need to discuss terms tomorrow))

Naughty or Nice...?
Wingo gazed out of his rotating window watching the concentric rings of SAMs pop-up, disappear then pop-up again in another random place. The concentric rings of SAMs run on underground rails then were lifted above the surface, this also allowed for SAMs to be concentrated into one area if needed, or be spread out. Wingo was proud of his team and gave them a few days off for all their hard work. He sat down at his desk and read a brief from his research department. Testing and development of his new weapon had advanced to stage two, implementation into a warhead and detonation device. It wouldn't be ready for the impending battle, but may come in useful for later ones. He put down the brief and checked on the stats of his navy, all subs were ready to be deployed. They were fully stocked and could survive out on a battlefield for a fair time. His fighter jets were also getting ready for airbattles. Overall preparation was going well. He viewed the video of the sattelite strike once again, and grinned to himself and his little stroke of genius.

Naughty or Nice...?
The setting sun balanced on the border between sky and sea. The sea was stained a crimson red, like an ocean of blood. The SAMs rotated around the island on their silent, dutiful patrol. Things had been quiet of late but the defences were never reduced. Down in the depths of the ocean the subs were changing shifts. The current group of patrols had been out for a few months and were being releaved by fresh patrols. The operation was performed so no security holes were opened. The fresh subs headed out and performed a patrol with the old ones, then the old patrols would return to dock. It was simple but efficient, just the way Wingo liked it. He looked out over his island mini-nation. Although he couldn't see anything on the surface, he knew of all the work going on beneath the surface. All of the tunnels that wound beneath the surface were being lined with fifteen feet of Tungsten Carbide, one of the hardest substances known to man; short of diamond. As he thought, things had been quiet, but not for much longer. All of his people were working on various projects to improve not only his fighting power on the battle field, but also on his defensive abilities, the efficiency of his island and on making pollitical alliances.

The subs spot a gigormous structure headed towards them. It is made of 30 100 foot long sections, each with 6 massive treads. Their screens are suddenly flooded with several thousand signals a second. A float releases and flys into the air, reaching a full 1000 ft and turning into an intense EMP wave.
