From the way the panel went, they have a lot of big plans. But I think the best of it all was the fact that they are listening to us users. They had a Q & A line that was at least an hour and a half worth of questions. And they got to every person that stood in it. Two of the panel members took notes the entire time they did questions. The important or "good" stuff one person wrote down, and the not so important stuff was also noted, but most likely got tossed.

i have to say i'm impressed with how much attention they do pay the what people want, and also what they don't like about changes, i know i've said it before, but i think that Gaia has come on in leaps and bounds over the last year or so 3nodding

I think another big thing they said was about the petitions. I want to say the girls name was Ling, but I'm not sure... Anyways, she was asked at least 3 times if they even look at the petitions. Her answer was YES!!! She pays a lot of attention to them. The good ones get worked into being, while the others are just there. I thought that was a very important tthing. exclaim

well if people stopped and thought for one minute, they'd realise that the petitions forum wouldn't be there if the Admin had no intention of looking at it rolleyes it's generally the kids on here who say petitions are a waste of time, because they don't bother reading the forum stickies.

And probably because when their unrealistic petitions don't get added to the site within a week or two of them coming up with the idea, they figure "Oh, they must never even read them!" rolleyes
I figure jelly's site backgrounds is a wonderful and doable idea, but it would take a long time to put into working mode even if they decided it was stupendous and should be added.

They are totally concentrating on the battle system right now. After that I think they said the tattoos will be out. But I can't remember what else there will be for sure. xd

I would love to see body jewely, like belly button rings *pokes Mango's belly* I think she would look cool with a belly button ring, but a tattoo will be rather "wicked" too 3nodding

I'm digging the idea of the tatoos kinda a neat idea. The body piercings would be a good addition if your gonna do tatoos might as well get the piercings in there too.lol 4laugh

the thing with the tattoos is are you stuck with them like a real one, or will it be removable like a piece of clothing, so you can'wear' it when you want, i'll be interested to see how they go about that 3nodding

Hmm.. I'm guessing it will be wearable/removable tattoos because it would be easier for them to make that way, I think, than have them permanent additions like skin color, only changeable when you delete your avi. But then people will complain that they lost all the gold they spent on it if they wind up deleting (although.. I guess we do that with hair right now huh?!)
I suppose tattoo permanence would be a good lesson for all those teens out there who think they want a tattoo in real life and don't realize exactly how long-lasting and permanent it is, like celebrities who tattoo a husband's name on only to get divorced a few years later.. rolleyes (That's why I haven't gotten a tattoo myself.. I don't think I could ever decide on something I wouldn't change my mind about years down the road!)
