"You are helping...just by being here with me..." Chenza said, before she blinked. "One...more..." she sighed. Being a mother was a lot of work. Just thinking to herself that she was a mother took a bit of readjustment. But the pups...oh, they were worth it. As content as she could be given her situation, Chenza gave her last effort. She was tired, but there was work to do. There was a child depending on her to see the world! Well, it couldn't really see yet, but it would. With one final push, a multi-colored pup emerged, the last of her litter. She could tell, because she couldn't feel anything else coming. And as she cleaned this little boy, she tried to think of a name that would describe the variations in his coat. She knew one word wouldn't do. "This is Kijini'leli." she said to Kian. "And now...I think I will rest," she said, yawning as she closed her eyes.

Huh? What's this? One wetness being replaced by another? Strange words spoken by the voice that was so familiar to him, and warmth. Warmth of mother, warmth of the things that were with him in her, and room to wiggle as he found a new sensation. He could feel something good and fulfilling entering his mouth. This being born stuff sure was interesting. After wiggling a bit closer to the warmth, Kijini suckled contentedly.

Neoni wagged his tiny tail at the arrival of two new furry bodies alongside his own, his very first concept of family. He was comfortable, happy and being fed.
It didn't get much better than that.

Yelping a little, Jibanza tried to walk. She fell, of course, onto something soft, wet and warm. Another one, just like her.
Now, there were three of them.
The pup felt comforted at once, surrounded by strange, yet familiar scents. The stranger's scent did not have the same 'blood' as the rest of them, and she could smell it. But his fur was so very, very warm, so she forgave the stranger for his difference in smell.
This was alright.
Jibanza warmed up to the world straight away.
