Is this a reputable article? After all, it does call Red Dwarf an early 1990's show, when it started in the late eighties. Or am I just looking for an excuse to not believe this?
I also wonder how they know so much- for example, the name of his dealer, and the conversation word for word that he had in the cab. Also what goes on in the flat behind the blinds that are closed to stop people from seeing what's happening. Even if there is some truth here, I have to wonder how much was embellished. My guess would be- most of it.
What is this magazine?
Either way, the fact that they apparently followed him everywhere is disgusting.
(See Non-RD forum for my question about his radio show!)

It's the Mirror! They're famous for lying. Even if it did happen, I would only believe the truth if I heard it from Craig himself.

It's the Mirror. Like I said, it's not the first place you'd go to to see what the news was... stare They have a bad habit of making stories from almost nothing. And yes, you're right, it IS written in a highly suspicious way - as I said, like a piece of very bad fanfiction, all change of tenses and seemingly exact "knowledge" of what took place. Treat this article with suspicion and dubiousness, that's all I can say. stare

According to a police statement published on Teletext's Showbiz pages, Craig has accepted a caution for possession of a Class A drug. I only saw this today.

Yes, The Mirror has a reputation for blowing things out of proportion; but there is some element of truth to it. They're not allowed to print false information or they can be sued.
The Mirror isn't the worst tabloid out there; just look at The Sun and The News of the World.
I still wouldn't trust that source though
(look at me, two years of media studies behind me and I think I'm some kind of expert xp )

I'm wondering: Is Lister (Craig Charles) a black man?
I wouldn't be surprised. Doesn't make much difference to me as long a he's supported (I guess) and they never try to make another US version of the show.
