At first Dia was slightly taken aback, Tanryoku was the one who had the upper hand in this 'fight'. He was the bigger pup of the two and he was male, even with his coat, he was still very much a boy. The golden ball of fluff bristled and then took a few steps back.
"Nu uh," she managed, at his announcement as he ran straight towards her.
It was only a few seconds, but Dia knew that she had to act fast. She ticked her icy eyes around until she saw his right side....wide open! She sloppily grinned to herself and ran as well, attempting to dive her shoulder into his side to get him to fall or at least to throw him off his course.

*His body went flying, after he jumped, to the left after she hit his right side. After hitting the game he began to roll over. After about a foot or two you could tell it was fake. That he was pretending that she had beat him. After he stopped rolling he lay on his back with all fours up in the air, his eyes closed, and his tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth.*

Dia let out a loud yap of victory as the other pup went flying. She was quite pleased with herself, that was, until the male continued to roll. She cocked her head to the side curiously. Instinct told her that Tanryoku was playing with her and that he should have stopped by now, but her heart one over and she was intantly worried. Especially after the pup had halted on his back with legs outstretched towards the sky.
"Tanryoku....?" she questioned softly, bounding over and stopping to hover over his head, looking down at him with clear water eyes full of concern. "Are you okay?"

*Quickly he morolled to his side and nipped her leg*
"Your it! You gotta be quick to catch me."
*He began to run off away from her glancing back occasionaly. His pink and black fur shifted from side to side and up and down as he pranced to and from the path trying to keep ahead of his new friend*

Dia giggled, jumping back a bit as he came in contact with her leg. She was having so much fun, despite the fact that the sky was now beginning to get dark as clouds rolled near. Funny, she thought to herself as she began to chase after the pink one, eager to continue their game. It wasn't time for sun down, so why the ever pressing darkness?
As she continued to run after him, her answer came in the form of small raindrops that hit her pelt as she padded on.

*Quickly he jumped into a bush. He couldn't hide very well because of his pink fur but the darkness coming was a bit of help for hiding help, though not much. He smiled to himself his plan laying out ahead of him. It did not scare him when the rain drops came. Nor did it scare him when a small roll rumble came from the massive sky*

Dia jumped ever so slightly when she heard the first rumble. She wasn't scared, not really, but it did manage to catch the golden ball of fur off gaurd. Once the rain pellets came down a little faster she took a sharp intake of breath and did her best to ignore it. She didn't know where the pink one had gone, because of the startle she had taken her eyes off of him.
Bad move. She muttered all onto herself and then crouched down, her nose flickering as she tried to smell him out. Though with the rain intermingling the scents up that was proving to be a hard task indeed.

*He jumped out of the bush quickly. His body was flying the few feet off of the ground heading for Dia as if he were going to squish her. He let out a small growl as he closed in on her*
"Here I COMEEEEE!!"
*His pink fur was coming toward her and it looked as if he had a lock onto her. The black path leading around to his eye being the scope*

Dia yapped loudly and then attempted to double back so that the pink male couldn't get at her. But, she was taken off guard, that and the fact that her paws slipped in the mud and she couldn't get the leverage she wanted and needed.
"No fair," she yapped again, in the now drizzling weather as she tried to get at him back.

*Tanryoku landed on top of Dia and rolled with her under him. When they had finished rolling, Tanryoku had his paws pinning her to the ground.*
"I win!"
*His excitement was soon ended when a bright flash came and then a loud rumble from the sky. He had heard and seen this once before. But he did not remember it well. IT was when he was still with his mother and father.....before........he could not remember. He couldn't remember that far back. But he knew that the sky acting like this was a bad sign*
"Cha'mon (come on)! Yous can come wifh me to my home....if you wanna get out of this stuffs"
*It was his first ever friendly offer. He had never had anyone to offer it to. So he gave a new look to this animal. Not anger or Sadness....but something more of a pleading look*

Dia giggled when Tanryoku had landed over her, squirming her body as her paws were pinned. Her fun was short lived however when the sky illuminated and was followed by a loud clap of thunder. The young golden fem yapped loudly and then she jumped upwards as the male moved. At his offer she knitted her face in contemplation and then she nodded. For some reason she had great trust in the pup though she had known him for the day.
"Okay, lead the way," she said, knowing that the pleading look in his eyes probably matched the growing fear in her own.

*He quickly began to trot toward his home. Every few steps he would look over his shoulder to make sure she was still there and not gone. It was not that he was afraid of her being taken, but more of a fear of having her leave him. This was yet another thing why he could not remember. But he knew it had something to do with his parents.*
"It ain't far from here. We gots to go a ittle arther. (Little further)"

"Okay!" Dia called back, her tongue lagging out of her maw slightly as she bounded on after him. She was thankful that he kept looking back, even though she didn't know the full root of why he was doing it, just that it felt good, made her feel more secure. Especially with the now dark sky and the rain coming down even harder. She couldn't wait till they got to the safety of where it was they were going.

*He looked at the familiar shapes and landscapes as he approached his home. Then walking through some brush he walked into a small little cave like area. It looked as if it had once belonged to a family of mountain lions, but that was long ago. He was the only one who had inhabbited this for the past three months. It was a great place. He was not far from a creek if he ever got too hot. Now soaking wet and dripping he shivered a bit after shaking his fur. His sleek hair shooting the water all around, even on Dia*

Dia giggled and raised a paw to her face as the water sprayed from the pink fur to land on her golden pelt. After he had his shake down she did likewise, getting all the water droplets off and letting the rest run down her legs.
"It's wonderful!" she said happily, waving her tail back and forth as she looked at his home. Despite the small chill from the rain the whole feel of it was quite cozy indeed.
