Love: The scene with Cloud and Vincent. They look about as sexy and yummy as animated characters can possibly get. 'Nuff said.
Hate: The dub. "Dilly-dally, shilly-shally"?? Normally I don't use this shorthand but I find it very appropriate now: WTF??
I saw a bootleg download some weeks before the dub was released and as I recall, there was a better translation for "Zuruzuru zuruzuru".

i have the movie and i've seen it like 300 times!!
((the thing i did like about it was the fact it had really good angles on people so you could see what was going on unlike other movies it has the camera angle like really far away and you cant tell))
((((what i didn't like was the fact it left out to much details and kinda left us hangin{if you know what i mean}and it was WAY WAY WAY to short))))

I loved the movie a lot. Me, being a fangirl, watched the movie over 12 times, and it still doesn't get old... well, I loved the graphics, they were pretty realistic... the storyline, including the Silver Haired Men... the japanese voiceacting was wonderful... and well, the SephirothxCloud hints. xD
But what I didn't like is that it sadly was just a movie, meaning less time... if it were a game, it would probably have lasted longer... but I still loved it. Also, the english dubbing was horrible... well, I believe it was. D:

Loved the kick a** fight scenes. They were awesome. Especially the ones on the motorcycles. That was cool.

The thing I hate about FF7/AC? One word.....Tifa.
I respect people's opinions, but really, why do people like her? I have a perfectly good list of reasons, thought up by other people and myself.
1. She leaves a child in charge of a bar that is located in Midgar slums. ...And that's bad on Barret's part, too. Marlene could have been mugged or raped, and this shows that both Tifa and Barret are very irresponsible. (BTW, Barret admits to his irresponsibility, and I like him, so he gets away with it on my part.)
2. When Aeris came with Cloud to save Tifa from Don Corneo, Tifa is rude to both of them. I think this shows Tifa's need to be the center of attention, especially infront of Cloud. And I know I wouldn't be awful to someone who's come to help me!
3. She's a very boring and dull character, and people usually like her only for her looks. She never really does anything eventful, either.
4. Her overall presence just irks me. (why is her chest so huge?)
5. She makes herself out to be Cloud's best childhood friend, but she wasn't really friends with him until all the other boys were gone from Nibelheim. She and her friends were never nice to Cloud when he really needed friends. This shows that Tifa is dillusional.
6. Okay, Beat rush takes only 30 hp from an enemy..? And what the hell do dolphins have to do with Tifa?! I mean, her hair does look like the tail fin of a fish at the end of it..but..
7. Her attire of clothing. Rikku pulls it off. Tifa doesn't.

Yes, i agree with squeezelemon, Tifa is overrated.
I love how they made the characters look somewhat different. I hate how they didn't make the English version first...

I loved Advent Children. razz I loved the graphics, characters, story line, and battles. I really didn't think any thing was wrong with it except for it being to short. I agree with you guys about the Tifa thing. I think Tifa is overrated, but I think she's a good character. She just isn't my favorite. I loved it and I have watched way over than 10 times. I watch it every night!

I havent played the game, so i dont know how much they missed to put in the game. I know that vincent could turn inton a beast though. there is nothing bad about it. The movie's perfect!

Lum Cheng I have no problems with the movie itself, but there is a huge problem, I think, with the American DVD release. If one looks carefully at the subtitles for the Japanese voice track, they will see that the subtitles are composed almost entirely of the script for the English voice over, rather than being a more accurate translation! BAD SQUARE ENIX, BAD!!! gonk I know... ::cries:: I also didn't like that it was sooooooo short... they could have easily made it like a four hour movie and kept my intrest!!!

Vincent facing bahamut sin it just looks great the way he seems to fight it without actually being bothered
Sephiroths scene, I think its one of the greatest ive ever seen, they got his personality just right, hardly any emotion just one constant calm and knowing, and the fight was fantastic and finally omni slash looked great

I've seen FFVII:AC at least 40 times by now....though I haven't really been keeping track of every time I sit down to watch it. I bought it about three days after it came out, special edition baby! I can't get enough of the graphics, they are magnificent! Simply splinded and superb! Some of the best Graphics i've seen so far in my life.
Altough I love this movie, there are some asspects that I would change in it. For instance, it was WAY too short. There is so much more the director could have done with a story as great as this one....it was kind of a let down that they didn't do more with it. The fights were awesome, indeed....but the last big fight scene with Sephiroth and Cloud pissed me off. No, not just becuase my Sephy lost that match, but because it wasn't nearly as long or as extravegant as I pictured it to be.
Another thing I would have loved to have seen in this would have been Chaos, Vincents other form. That would have been a sight to see in such wonderous graphics. Don't you all agree? Maybe had a fight scene with Valentine in his other form?((XD His limit break for the gameing geeks in us.))
Don't get me wrong though, I love everything about this movie......there's just things I would have done to make it better. ((Belive me, what I stated isn't even half of what I would have changed or done for this CG movie.))

not sure how many times i've seen it, i like a lot but what i don't like is the english version, sometimes the stuff they talked about sound retarded and made no sense. xp
