s**t. For a moment that was all that went through his mind. One intelligent demon was bad. Two of them were just plain rotten luck. He spread his legs out a little more, now crouching instead of squatting. His hands settled on his twin wakizashi and stopped moving under his coat. For all that he moved he could have turned to stone, but his mind was rushing like a hive of bees. He gripped the hilts of the two blades. Hana and Akuma respectively. My friends. Serve me well tonight when luck has turned its back on me. He didn't look back over his shoulder. He was unwilling to take his eyes off his first opponent.
Was he going to die tonight? He supposed he might. He didn't want to. Sometimes he believed that he was incapable of dying. That God just hated him that much He'd keep him on this earth forever. And at other times he felt his mortality keenly. Like tonight. And what do we do, we humans? While God is sleeping? Or perhaps He was never there at all?

Kistion was watching the human on the ground when he heard the other come up behind him, even befor he had spoken Kistion had known he was there. he didn't move his eyes off of the human, simply smiling softly at him. "This one had murdered one of us." He replied to the other demon coming towards him. he didn't sense that he was so strong. And if he wanted to help in his plight to make the human understand it was wrong to kill there kind then so be it.
"Humans, can't they tell that there will be justace for things like that." He said softly, watching with his glinting eyes in the dark. "If we kill one of them do they not retaliate?" he asked, to himself and to his fellow demon. "They are fools, they don't understand us quite yet."

((I am horribly sorry for not being here for so long crying my week has been... stupidly busy and I hope that it stops being so. Stupid life getting in my way... geeze XD))
"What do you intend to do? Fight me?" Vergil then chuckled darkly at this. As if the human had a chance, the smell of demon blood was heavy in the area, it was obvious he wasn't the only one with demon blood in him around here currently. If anything it seemed this human had done something to attract plenty of attention. Well any human who could put up a fight with a demon was not liked by any dark dweller, thus there were usually plenty of demons out to find this trouble maker and erase the problem.
It seemed that if he didn't make the first move this human wouldn't move either, and he wasn't up for playing a game of who could stand still the longest. If he wanted to have silly contests like that he could go back home to Dante, his twin was always up for stupid things like that. Thinking of Dante made him frown slightly and he decided to get this done with quickly. Also he didn't feel like dealing with whoever the other two were down below. He wasn't one for parties, but this was starting to turn into one, more guests just kept showing up.
With a devilish smirk, Vergil knelt down quickly, his katana flashing in the moonlight, as if to sprint towards Caprica, but he disapeared. Seconds later seeming to come out of no where directly in front of the human, blade moving to slice Caprica in two. Which is preferably how Vergil liked his humans.

((Fine, all fine everyone seems to be bussy of late so don't worry.))
Kistion saw the demon make his move and was almost instantly down the wall, without the other demons consent or answer. He would not have more mindless slaughter of either race. He hated how the fact that the demon would overpower the human, made the human almost helpless. That despite that the demon would still attack, and still end the life without even a question asked. It was this reason that Kistion let himself deflect the blade of the other silver-haired demon and push him back with his two smaller blades. A look of dissapouintment and some anger on his docile face.
"You would take the life of a lesser for no reason?" He asked, pushing the human back idly, placing himself between the two. "Where has the honor of our races gone if we attack without words?" "Put your wepons down, foolish is this fight."

Caprica was sure he hadn't blinked but apparently he had and now the demon was gone. He didn't really see Vergil reappear the instant he did so but he saw something shiny descending towards his head. In a flash his wakizashi were in his hands and crossed to block the blow. He knew it would probably drive him right to his knees but he would block it.
The blow never came. There was someone else standing in front of him. He gaped in disbelief and anger as he was pushed back. Who was this idiot? Did he know nothing of honour?
Attack without words? I'll show you why I attack without words. He opened his mouth, looking for all the world like he was going to scream but instead an inhuman hissing noise issued forth. Something like a cross between tearing paper and claws raking over stone. The sound of a ruined voice, testimony to a ruined life. b*****d demons. You've taken everything from me but you will not take my honour. Caprica had no intentions of standing down and gripped his wakizashi firmly, ready to attack as soon as the fool got out of the way.

"Tch." Vergil sneered, Yamato returning to his side. What nonsense was this? Another like Dante, just what he needed.
"Honour? People these days toss that word around like paper on wind." looking behind the newcomer, he could see that the human wasn't too pleased at this interruption either. Maybe he was better off going back home for now, he could always argue with Dante some more. It was a good way of letting off steam. Or if he really felt like degrading himself he could do things his twin's way and get drunk of his a** and sleep off his anger, then have an aching headache next morning. Both options didn't exactly appeal to him, but he didn't feel like listening to another person preach to him tonight.
"What will you do if I won't back down? Kill me?" Vergil asked, his hand ready on Yamato again. He was too testy for this rightious bullcrap. He'd just off this fellow and continue with the human after.
((Vergil is PMSing... yay!))

Caprica had had enough. It was his duty to slay demons and this a** was not going to get in his way. The demon had not yet drawn his katana again. Maybe if he was fast enough he could do some damage before he was able to pull it from its sheath. That was one of the reasons he carried wakizashi. For one thing, most of the stuff he was carrying was illegal to own much less use but at least it was hidden. And for another, katana were big. And close quarters fighting with one was hard.
He darted out from behind the long haired demon slashing out with Hana and Akuma. His boot spikes struck sparks against the gravel.

Vergil was pleasently surprised when Caprica charged him. Obviously the human could care less about some dribble and wanted nothing more than to carve him open. Let him try that is. Vergil appeared unamused at the human coming towards him and waited till Caprica was practically on him and in a flash changed to his devil form.
((Lyre gave me permission to bash up Caprica a bit so no one fret ^_^))
A clawed blueish-teal hand grabbed the boy by his throat and hoisted him into the air. Pulling the boy close to his face, Vergil growled low in his throat. He was certainly no longer the handsome human he'd appeared to be earlier, his face now dawning a wideset fanged mouth that made him look even more angry than usual. His eyes caught something as he looked at the human closer. His claws had torn through most of the collar that had been covering that boy's throat, and underneath exposed something not so pleasent looking. It seemed this boy had had his fair share of bad luck.
"It seems you've made more than one devil displeased..." Vergil said, his voice raspy sounding now, as his claws lightly dug into Caprica's neck. It was undoubtably from a demon attack, it was amazing the boy was still alive from the looks of it. Too bad he'd picked today to mess with him, he wouldn't wound him and run. Looking to the other on the roof, he chuckled darkly.
"Humans who ask for death only deserve what they want so badly." he said, and squeezed Caprica's windpipe, making it harder for him to breathe. Then turning his head back to Caprica he smiled devilishly and pulling back his arm threw Caprica into the convient door that would allow one to enter back into the building from the roof. Such a convient door it was. There would be a lovely dent in it now for sure. Crouching low to charge at the human an annoying voice sounded in his head.
'VERG!! VERG WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?' it was his twin. That nit wit would pick the time to come find him and bother him with their mind speak. What a brat ruining his fun.
((And yeah... cause no one wants to play Dante so far... I shall play as him till someone feels like joining and taking over, or what not))

Caprica's dark eyes stared at the demon in a rather dazed way. He could see a big blue thing.. and lots of stars before his eyes. It was starting to get dark. He couldn't breathe at all. The pain of claws digging into his neck brought him zinging back to life. The memory of that accursed devil this demon spoke of. Tearing at his throat. He started thrashing and kicking in a panic.
It was useless though he found himself suddenly airborne and an instant later he felt the impact of something that felt like a truck. But it wasn't. He looked up, seeing the vague shape of a doorhandle. A steel door with a big dent in it. He tasted blood in his mouth. Somehow his wakizashi had remained clenched in his hands throughout the ordeal. He held them tight to his chest as if they needed his protection. He couldn't breathe. He felt like the air was coming to him through a straw. He dragged himself over the gravel, hearing it rasp against the leather and buckles that incased his body.
The demon seemed to be distracted. No matter now. He needed to retreat. He had to regroup and rest. There was no way he could fight like this. He looked down over the edge of the building. There was a fire escape there. He sheathed his wakizashi and pulled himself onto the metal grating. He almost made it to his knees to crawl down the steps but the blood drizzling from his mouth had made the surface in front of him slick. His palm slipped in it and he tumbled down the stairs to the first landing and laid there shaking from fright and exhaustion. This is not the way I wanted it to end.

Tristan saw the demon shift into his devil form and it sparked a memory of his. He had another form as well. His pastel green eyes flashed a golden amber and as the wind around hm began to howl, he thought how ironic it was. The Kyuubi were famous for being ssentient beings capable of the contol of fire. He had mixed blood though and his form was shifting to his other side. It appeared as if his tails were moving, raising up his back. nine tails became eight spider like tendrils of a faint blue light, casting a dark scarlett between each of those tendrils. His eyes grew larger, into almond shaped, amber lights against pale blue flesh. His body seemed to emanate with a faint blue light similar to the tendrils coming from his back. He lept from the rooftop and sent a cannon blast of wind from the palm of his right hand towards Vergil. His voice was much lighter than it had been before as he spoke in a voice that sounded like a whisper carried on the wind. "Leave the human alone, Devil. He is no match for you and you knew this before you attacked, did you not? Why destroy one who does not fare against your strength? Defeat cannot truely be enoyed unless it is earned rather than taken from one who is too easily beaten." he flipped down from the rooftop and just before landing, he flapped his new wings once to stop inches from the ground, yet he failed and landed flat on his a**."OW" As he stood, rubbing his now sore butt, he tried to concentrate and his wings returned to their true positions as his tails, although they retained the appearance he now held. He tried once more to fly and managed to levitate a few inches from the ground at last. It had been years since he'd used this form and had nearly forgotten how to use his powers.

Kistion regretted letting the human get beat up a little but he could see that the other demon was occupied with that other foolish demon who had decided he wanted some of the action.
He walked softly up to the bloodied human, pulling him up to his feet and shaking his head. "Do not carry strange Pride my human friend." He said in a soft tone, no matter if the other fought against him, he pulled his arm around his shoulder.
He had watched the fight, an uneven match, unfair for the human. He wasn't so powerfull, he couldn't help it that he was beaten, there was no use in trying to stop him earlier, he had realized. He had been angry at Kistion for trying to stop him. Nw maybe he would accept his help. He didn't want the human to get hurt anymore, he had only wanted to talk to him anyway, from the start. Now, maybe he would get what he wanted, even after his effort.

Caprica's mind swam closer to the surface of consciousness. He realized he was being lifted from the ground and struggled weakly. His throat rasped as he panted for air in panic. Couldn't the damn demon just leave him alone and let him die in peace? He flipped the swiveling knuckle claws on his hand to his palm and raked them down the demon's chest. Damn you leave me alone! He had definitely done some damage to his ribs because he could feel them grinding against each other with a lancing pain that made him see stars.

Leaping back to avoid the attack, Vergil knelt in a defensive position, waiting for the clumsy fool to get a hold of himself. Why did everyone feel the need to interfer with his fun. It wasn't like he'd started it, technically. The human had come up here to tango, but of course him being the half devil, it was his fault. Oh well, it was a shame he hadn't been able to finish the human brat off.
"As I like to say: might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything... let alone yourself. The human should have thought of the consquences when he confronted me. It was obvious that he was over matched in power." Vergil said, not feeling any remorse for what he'd done. The boy had deserved what he'd gotten. Not his fault Caprica had practically asked to die. Grabbing the hilt of his katana Vergil started to move as if to attack Tristan but heard something coming towards him. With a loud 'shrenk' sound, his twin's gigantic, overcompensating, sword Rebellion had landed right in front of him, almost hitting the toe of his boot. Glaring in the direction the sword had been thrown, he saw Dante speeding towards them in his devil form.
"Dante..." he growled angrily. He should have expected the brat to come looking for him.
Landing between the two Dante changed back to his human form, a smirk on his face.
"Now can't we just all get along?" he said, the sarcasm dripping from his voice. It seemed Vergil had been playing nasty with some other's of their type... and a human? He swore he sensed a human near by. Hopefully his twin hadn't killed it yet.
"Now now Verg... what have I told you about playing nice huh? You won't make any friends at your new school if you're always being such a meanie pants." Dante continued to joke, pulling out one of his guns Ebony and aimed it at his brother.
"So be a good boy, lets go home." he finished, knowing well enough that Vergil was going to be livid with him, whenever and if he happened to get them both back to Devil May Cry.
Right about know, Vergil would have carved out Dante's innards and left him to bleed to death on the roof, but... he was so tired of being angry tonight. Curses Dante for putting him in such a mood, then coming along and telling him what to do. Who did he think he was? His mother? That thought made his mind picture their deceased mother, that weak mortal woman that had died for them so long ago. With a sneer Vergil let his devil form slip away and he stood up, seeming nothing like the hot head he'd been not seconds before.
Lately whenever thoughts of their mother entered his head he seemed to get rather quiet and melancholy. Or extremely moody. This was his melancholy quiet mood seeting in. Turning around to give Dante his back, he hoped the idiot was satisfied, though once they got home he wouldn't let him off so easily. If Dante so much as looked at him when they got back to Devil May Cry, there would be blood shed. Lots of it.

"Wait.....Dante?" Tristan voiced quietly. His new formed slowly faded until he simply stood, looking a bit dumbfounded for a moment."Dante....of Devil May Cry? THE Dante?" he seemed to be catching on at last. "You're the twin sons of Sparda aren't you?" Tristan knelt on one knee and bowed his head to the brothers."I am honored to meet you at last. You are legends in your own time. It was because of you Dante, that I started Kyuubi Reign." he looked up into Dante's face, his holding a pleading look."It would be a dream come true to work with the sons of the Great Dark Knight Sparda." his dark voice held a deep rooted longing to belong somewhere. Perhaps he could belong with these two, others like himself, mixed bloodlines. He quickly placed the dice in his holster on the ground in front of him. They glowed a faint purple, hinting that they had been carve from a Devil Star."Please, I would gladly give these to you in exchange for a chance to work with you both."

Dante rubbed the back of his head, not sure what to do. His first instinct was to joke and laugh it off, which was what he usually did for most things, but... he could tell the guy was serious. Glancing back at Vergil, who only rolled his eyes, Dante twirled Ebony in his hand before replacing it in his holster.
"Why not? The more the-"
"Absolutely not." Vergil cut in, turning back around to face them.
"I do not need someone who lectures me one moment, then five minutes later is on his knees bowing like we're gods in my home. If I wanted to have children running around, I would have gone off and done as father had many years ago... it's bad enough with you." he concluded this with a glare to his brother, before turning on his heel to make his way over to where he'd last seen sight of Caprica. Curiousity was making him search out the brat to see if he was still in one piece.
Flipping the bird and sticking his tongue out childishly at his twin's back, Dante turned to Tristan. Well, time to make things a little less uneasy with some good old lame jokes and pissing his brother off.
"Eh, don't mind him. It's that time of the month, ya know."
'Dante I swear to Mundus himself I'm going to make you regret those words serverly... just wait till we get home dear brother.' Vergil mind spoke to his twin, and he could hear Dante laugh nervously over where he was with Tristan. Looking over the edge of the roof he could see Caprica and another, possibly of demon blood, holding the boy in his arms. What a touching moment. Too bad Caprica didn't seem to want any help.
"Foolish human..." Vergil shook his head, wondering if he was still in the mood to go down there and take both their heads off. Whoever said violence wasn't the answer needed to live with Dante for about... oh five seconds and rethink their little saying.
