Whether I like 7 and 8 as much or not, I still had to have them so that I could have the full collection. I won't be watching them as much as the first six seasons, though!

7 and 8 deffinatly don't have the same vibe as the first 5 seasons. But I still like them none the less. I don't like Kochanski very much either, but having a new character brought in new jokes. Especially Kryten and his "Have a happy period".
