Malaika nodded quickly in response, her expression combining everything from being happy, shocked, and compassionate all at the same time.
"I feel kind of...guilty though. You are..." She paused, taking the time to nestle her head deeply into Flash's mane. "a pup, and all... I don't know what my parents would say..."
"But I don't care. Not at all." She added quickly, a faint smile spreading across her face. The world could fall apart right now, and she probably wouldn't even come close to noticing.

He chuckled, yes he was still a pup and only a few days old for that matter; but being with Malaika it didn't seam to matter to him at all. It seamed like he was older the more he layed with her; as if he was maturing as quick as his speed was.
"I'm sure they wouldn't mind- And if they are your parents they should respect you for every desision you make..." He beamed up at her and licked her nose.

"Yeah...you're right..." Malaika replied in a happy tone, her gaze wandering off towards the distant sunset. An entire spectrum of reds, oranges, and golds painted the sky, each becoming more intense as they neared the scarlet orb that was also known as the sun as it slowly sank behind the scattered clouds.
"Would...would you like to meet them?" The pink Tala asked suddenly, her head immediately snapping back in Flash's direction. "My parents, I mean..."

He nodded, and looked over to her. "I would love that." Maybe he could have a private talk with them about why they were ignoring there daughter so much, then paused; probally wasn't his place to pry into anyway. He was just happy that he had Malaika and didn't want to hurt his chances of staying with her by saying something stupid that he would regret to her parents.

"Then it shall be arranged! Soon, too. Maybe then this whole thing will be over with, and everything can be normal...finally..." She sighed, shifting slightly and resting her head against Flash's.
"But still...it'd be nice if time just stopped right now...Staying here forever with you would suit me just fine." She whispered, sounding as if in a sort of daze. Her eyelids began to droop, and a rather loud yawn escaped from the depths of her throat.
"Everything's gonna be okay...right?" She asked quietly, blinking several times in an attempt to remain awake.

Flash thought on that, though sadly he couldn't stop time but only travel threw it, "Hmmm I'd like it if time stopped myself..." He looked at Mal. He wanted to come to terms with the new emotions inside of, but then he looked at Mal once more and that all changed. "Though if we stopped time; then we wouldn't see what the future had instore for us..." He paused and thought about her question. "Yes...yes it is...now that your here with me, I mean..."

"You're right...Hn...you're always right, you know that? It must be the superhero...in you...Nothing in the world can...can touch us..." Her voice trailed off into the quiet air, a smile still clear on her face.
Before Mal herself even realized it, her eyes had shut completely and her head, along with the rest of her body, had gone completely limp. Who WOULDN'T be lulled to sleep in such a situation? The comfort, the warmth, the gentle emotion...it was all so soothing.
The poor Tala hadn't fallen into such a deep slumber in a while, and though seemingly unaware of it, she was grateful for every moment. Her chest rose and fell with every deep breath she took, her tail curling not only around her own body, but Flash's, as well.

Flash enjoyed the tenderness of the moment and curled his little tail around Malaikas as he moved closer. He could see her sleeping and she was so beautiful this way. He too thought about falling asleep; but He needed him to protect her, so he stayed awake and watched around with waking eyes; but soon the situation placed him into a somber sleep, his head resting gentally ontop of hers, dreaming of the happy years that they would spend together, he wouldn't trade this time for anything; as his thoughts drifted off completly..

Hours later, the sun peeked back over the clouds, and before long, began shedding it's rays back onto the serene meadow. As soon as the first beam of light licked at Malaika's face, she immediately awoke, her eyelids flickering several times before they opened completely.
As subtle as possible, Mal raised her head and gently set Flash's on the ground in the process. Though still partially asleep since it was so early, peering down at the scarlet pup's sleeping form still caused a happy smile to appear on the Tala's face.
Her head resting between her paws, she silently watched her superhero counterpart, enjoying the serenity of the scene.

Flash had stired hours eariler then she had, and quietly kept watch over her as she slept. As the sun broke onto her pink fur into the early hours of the moring, he just smiled. The orange and red hues seamed to dance over her body until the sun had finally risan(sp) over the gental mountain-side. As he felt her moving and awaking, he himself let out a yawn to signify that he to was awake. "Morning beautiful..." He said licking her on the cheak.

"You are SO adorable!" Malaika replied in a bliss-filled squeal, nuzzling Flash with her nose. "Morning to you, too! It's a beautiful morning, isn't it...?" She herself yawned, standing up in a rather shaky fashion and stretching.
"Looks like we'll be able to catch the end of the sunrise..." She sat down on her back haunches, gazing into the warmly hued sky. "Tell me, Flash, were there sunrises like these in the...comic book you used to be in?"

He nuzzled her. "It's not as beautiful as you m'dear..." He looked up into her eyes as the sun refected onto them. A warm smile spread across his face in bliss. Then paused to respond. "Well they were okie, for the most part I never managed to see a complete one like this because some villan or another was getting in the way..."
