I have a LiveJournal and happen to be a member of metaquotes, so I learn a lot of chatspeak. My mother knows...lol. I think that's it.

You have an LJ? As do I. I'm totally adding you. Linkage?

My grandma knows more than I do. >_<

Also - my grandma doesn't even know how to use a computer that well, let alone chatspeak.

My maternal grandma does. My paternal grandpa uses proper speech. My maternal grandpa is afraid of anything made after the 1950s and my paternal grandma is a dunce with computers.

Both of my grandfathers are dead, as is one of my grandmothers. The only remaining one - my maternal grandmother - can't speak English too well (she's Turkish) and doesn't like technology because she's kinda paranoid about it or something.

My grandparents have lived here for awhile but every once in a while, they'll break into random Italian. I feel lucky, though. They're all alive and so is one of my great-grandparents. And healthy too.

Lucky you! I never knew either of my grandfathers, and the last time I saw my paternal grandmother was when I was 2 (this was obviously before she died). I've never met any great-grandparents. I don't think any of them were even alive when I was born.

My middle name (and my cousin's middle name although I'm older) is for my great-grandmother. Died of Ovarian cancer. If not for it, I think she'd still be kicking it too. That side of the family (my maternal grandma's side) is around for awhile. And look young. My great-grandpa is 92 and looks about 60. My grandma is 66 and looks about 40.

We're from Abruzzi. Maybe it's something in the Italian water.

You live in a town/city called Harmony? How cool!

Yeah. It's one of those "planned community" dealies. It's named for the balance of people and nature and the founder's wife's mother. It's pretty cool but I'm sick of the 'hey u guyzz do teh ppl n harmony liv in harmony??? hahahahaha' jokes from the redneck slurmoids at my school.

Is this Harmony, Florida? If so, I actually thought about moving there for a while, because I liked the concept. But it was too far out in the middle of nowhere for me to get to work in Orlando.

Why, yes. It is. What are the odds? xD

And it's quite bothersome how far it is from everything.
