He nodded his head then. "Alright. We need to get Sio's hip checked out though. Can you take a look?" Zohra pointed at his little cousin's side as he pulled back enough from the group hug.
Being told he was told to tell Iexa or Lynx the names of the kids only made him look to the side. He'd prolly end up running to them or sending Sio to one of them the next time something like that happened. His only other options were his sister - which sent a shiver down his spine - and Ari. The last was not and option since Ari was very protective of his twin.

Sio 6 When the hug was over she blinked and looked at Iexa with a nod. She had no issues with telling the truth, she would rather not be in trouble. As Zohra mentioned her hip she looked down at it. There was sand and dried blood on it. Her hands came up to sign again, since her hands were free and they weren't hugging her anymore. 'It hurts to move it and there was a lot of blood earlier.' She wanted to let her older cousin know that. Sio gave a pointed look to Zohra so he could give more detail. Signing all of it would take too long and her voice was tired already.

Iexa 6 He looked again at the wound. "Yes, I'm sorry, you are not going to like this but we have to wash it and the best thing for that is sea water, the salt helps the wound and keep the infection at bay but it stings madly. I do have some herbs that will take the pain away after though." They had precious little choice. "After we can go see a healer just in case." It was Zasha who was taking healer training, he had had to learn out of necessity because of how often he and his brother had gotten injured over the years. He wished he could be the one to take her pain. Anyone but Sio...anyone else would have been fine. But Sio was special to them all. "To the sea!" He made it seem like they were charging an enemy and he walked into the water, inviting Sio along. "Zohra, you probably need a bath too, come along, we will be all the fresher after." He would do anything to protect these two, he wished fervently that he had been there.

Zohra 7
He groaned a little. They had just come from the ocean and that was where they had left the other kids. While he didn't think they were still there he wasn't all that keen to find out honestly. Still, he knew they needed to clean up Sio's wound. "Alright fine.. Sio, hop on again." He motioned for their cousin to get back up onto his back. Since moving her hip hurt he didn't want to make her walk more.

Sio 7 The face she made about hearing they had to go back to the ocean was on par with Zohra's groan. Siofra didn't want the sting of salt water again. But she wasn't going to argue with Iexa. Instead she shifted so that she could climb back up onto Zohra's back, clinging to him tightly. Once she was in position she signed with a huff. 'I don't like this.' Just so they would know she wasn't happy with the idea.

Iexa 7 "I'm sorry guys, but it is the best way to clean the wound as fast as possible. Infection is the worst enemy and I won't let it happen, not when there is a solution right there creeping up the shore....why are you two groaning so hard?" His mind whirring he looked toward the beach, they said she was pushed on a rock, would it be a sea rock? He tried not to act too interested, least they figure out his interest in the answer to that self directed question. But regularly they were not that reluctant for bath time. Sio had an excuse, Zohra not as much. Interesting. He marched for the beach. "If you get tired I can carry Sio."

"I don't either.." He commented to his little cousin. Still he shifted her weight a bit as he held her legs and started to follow after his older brother. Under his breath he prayed the other kids were gone by the time they got there so that Iexa didn't figure out who all it was.
"Sio isn't heavy, I'll be fine." Zohra shrugged slightly. Even if Siofra was on the chubby side carrying her around was pretty easy.

Sio 8 She watched Iexa with narrowed eyes for a second. After a minute she made a humming sound and simply rested her chin on Zohra's shoulder, letting him do all the work as far as the walk back went. Not much she could do anyways. She signed to the younger brother asking if he thought the other kids would still be there. The shrug she got in response made her frown. She didn't want Iexa to hear the mean words, it was bad enough she'd had to repeat them.

Iexa 8 They reached the water and he did his best to clean the would for Sio. "Let it soak and soften a little, it will make it easier to clean. We have to flush it well to prevent the dirt entering, a little blood is good because it will carry the gunk away. Once its clean I'll salve and bandage it and pressure should stop any further bleeding." It hurt him deeply to see his lil sis hurt. If he ever found out who did this to her.... well bad things would happen and no one would ever touch her again. He wouldn't kill then just scare the crap out of them so bad they would never dare. How their coarse words must have made her feel. It made his skin crawl and then his blood boil.

At the water he maneuvered Siofra around so that she could get down and limp the rest of the way to the ocean. He watched for a second then looked around to make sure the coast was clear and they didn't need to worry about a round two or anything. When he was sure there were no other kids around he let out a sigh of relief.

Sio 9 When she was set down she moved to the water, limping a little since pressure on her hip was painful. Once she was there and Iexa helped her to clean it off a bit she hissed. The salt water stung. When instructed to let it soak she sunk down to do so but frowned with a pout to show her displeasure to the whole thing.

Iexa 9 Once she was clean he swung her up into his arms so she would be out of the water which no doubt stung to high heaven. "The salve numbs it, it will feel better soon. Trust me." He made a small vow to himself to not let her out of his sight for a while until she was a little older, a little stronger. This would not happen again. Once they had dried he smeared the promised salve, hoping that it soothed her and much as taking care of the wounds helped to sooth him. "Do you need any Zohra?" He examined his brother's face before putting the salve away.

Zohra 10
He waited patiently, not saying anything, until he was spoken to. When Iexa asked if he needed any of the salve he shook his head. "No. I just got bruises, I'm fine." As he waved his brother off he moved in closer to Sio to make sure she was alright. Of course seeing her wound he sighed. "Iexa.. she's gonna need a healer for that." It was too deep for them to slap a bandage over and call it a day like they did for so many of their own bumps and bruises.
Another groan left him. "Mom is gonna kill me.."

Sio 10 She teared up once again when Iexa moved her around. Those tears spilled over as the salve was put on. It was meant to numb, sure, but it wasn't instant. A small hiccup came from her as she looked up at Zohra when he mentioned the healer. She'd not gotten a really good look at her hip but she could feel it.

Iexa 10 "I know that Zohra, its just first aid, and this wasn't your fault." His mother was less scary than they all thought. Thea cared so much. He knew seeing her kids like this would hurt her. He wished he could take that pain too. "We can go to the healer once we put a quick bandage on. At least it should feel a little bit better once wrapped and not all crusty." He looked hopefully at Sio. Hoping he had helped at least some in what little way he could.
