Kylar moved cautiously through the crowds of people trying to identify the possible threats and familiar faces. Aside from Zaku and Try whom he had already spotted, there were several other familiar presences. Ree was with a woman that felt distinctly of the malice that had been missing from Hexxis. Zephyr and Hexxis stood with a regal looking unfamiliar face. The threat which he identified immediately, but did not recognize was a large ten foot tall woman who stood out in the crowd. Moving to give a wide birth to those most likely to identify him and avoid the giant of a woman, he approached Zephyrs group slowly.
Kylar approached Hexxis and Zephyr from behind slowly , without attempting to conceal his presence. The mercenary had only met him briefly and was not a concern to him, the chances of him identifying him were low. Hexxis with her unknown ability to analyze everything about a person was the wildcard. He had given up trying to rescue her from SIU, but he could at least see how she was, after all he died trying to help her.
Finally beside them, Kylar turned towards the pair and the unknown king smiling as he spoke, "I love the costumes." He intended to limit his interactions with then to small talk, a simple but effective way to tell if Hexxis was any better mentally from when he had been working to fix her. Obviously his fail-safe had been subverted, but had they simply wiped her again or fixed her somehow. He followed up with a question, "What is it from?"

Mise watched the vinyl-skinned-manaquin-in-a-suit approach his company from behind - finding his movements alarming - this was a event to socialize, however this person had disguised himself so thoroughly as to be unrecognizable and seemed to be actively avoiding company however made a direct line for the two he had taken interest in.
Recognizing the dangers of such a situation, he took initiative. "They are Gomez and Morticia Addams!" he boomed with a boisterous laugh. "of The Addams Family, of course!" He turned his attention away from the ill-defined man and back onto The Addams, putting himself between them and the intruder to their conversation. "I am Mise Fortuna and it is a pleasure to make both of your acquaintances, would you be so kind as to accompany me? I do not make it out to Belosh very often and these rumors you speak of have put me ill at ease."

[Zephyr] Hearing someone coming up behind him commenting on the costumes, Zephyr turned to tell him about the costume - but Mise beat him to the punch. As the kingly-dressed man got closer, he smiled a little - though as he said his name that's when it clicked. That's where Zephyr had seen him before. "Wait a moment, didn't you occasionally go to the Mercenary Hub to get some help now and then?" he asked, putting his free hand on his chin as he kept his others wrapped around one of Hexxis to mock the people they were dressed as.-------- [Moira & Vic] The large woman laughed a little uneasily as the two kids continued to talk about things that children should more than likely not have either happen to them or be doing. "Well, your costumes are fantastic.. I am curious - where are your parents?" she asked with a slight tone of worry in her voice, quickly glancing over to Vic who just looked as perplexed and concerned as Moira did, but didn't really do much else. Not like he could anyways.

[Zaku] Zaku tilted his mouth into a half frown, "Low blow... Oh, come on..." he sighed and moved after Tri. "Come on, don't leave.." he called out, sounding a bit more desperate now rather than joking. "I'm sorry.." he apologized with a frown.----------------- [Stormy] Stormy blinked then lifted her mask again. "Oh, Mr. Dad? He's over there..." she motioned to Tri who was leaving. "He's probably leaving us here forever because he doesn't want us." she made a sad face regretfully. "He's always leaving us..." she looked to Akash and nodded within her frown.----------------- [Hexxis] Hexxis looked over to Kylar blankly as he spoke, a flicker of faint curiosity as she could have sworn she'd heard his voice before, but couldn't exactly place it. She was about to answer when the lord answered for them, announcing who they were dressed as, nodding quietly with a blank face. She appeared to be continuing to observe, and was picking up on the odd behavior of both the lord and Zephyr, though she couldn't figure out what was going on. Hexxis glanced back for a moment before focusing on Mise as she mentally spoke to Zephyr. /Is something wrong?/----------------- [Ashral] Ashral gave Ree a face as he suggested her being a mummy of wonderland, rolling her eyes slightly then having moved on. He went to get pumpkins and paint, she took a seat and smiled. She chuckled as she took one pumpkin and started painting on it. After a few minutes, she was about finished painting a night sky with two cats sitting next to each other against a full moon background. She appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself.

Tri stopped near the doors and turned to glare at him. "You were the one who wanted to come and give the twins something new the experience, why aren't you with them?. I was just the transportation. " He waved his hand out as he narrowed his eyes at Zaku, anger showing through his stoic look even if he kept his voice pitch to a whisper.
" I didn't come here to have fun but I agreed for the twins and for the small chance that Ree was stupid enough to come here. So why don't you go look for the twins or your friends and talk to them...isn't that the real reason your here or are they already watching you make a fool of me? " he whispered harshly, glaring as he held his wings tensely behind him, waiting for a group to move from the door so he could just head out. ------- Akash looked to where Stormy motioned and made a face before looking back and catching her nod. Scratching the side of his green cheek he nodded as he looked back at Moira and Vic. "Always leaving and coming back, sometimes smelling of beer. Last time he got so angry he kicked Stormy's bed over and threw her to the ground because we didn't go to dinner and Mrs Dad let him. He always lets him and follows him around " Akash said quietly, glancing back toward Tri and Zaku then quickly away as if he was afraid. ------- Ree was intensely concentrated on what he was painting. Fluffy clouds around the top of the pumpkin with drawing of trees trunks on one side and buildings on the other, he was on the second container of paints since the first ran out of a few colors he needed. He was putting birds around, while humming some random song under his breath. Stretching he finally glanced up at Ashral then toward her pumpkin with a smile. " That looks great " he said looking at the picture intently before pulling out his phone and taking a picture then handing it to her to see. " To remember it " he said softly, wondering if they could take it with them. Looking back at his own he made a slight face, wanting to finish it but it was also a mess compared to hers. " We can take it with us to if you want" he tilted his head slightly focusing back at her.

Mise walked just above a regular pace, ushering his company away - still playing the role of a jovial king, he gave a heartfelt laugh in response to Gomez Addam's question. "Oh, certainly. However I've found good help is hard to buy these days." He flashed his sharktooth filled grin to them before relaxing his face into a mere smile. "If you're familiar with mercenary work and looking for something a little more stable, I have something of a pet project I've been working on. Assuming you would be interested, Gomez." He turned his attention to Morticia and smiled just as wide. "Of course this invitation extends to you as well, I would not dream of taking your amour away from you."

Kylar eyed Mise suspiciously, had the man recognized him dispute his disguise. The way he ushered the pair away even though Kylar had just began speaking to them and answered for him made it seem as if he was their new handler, it was a possibility. Tri was elsewhere, doing god knows what with Zaku at the party. Perhaps he had been promoted to guarding their renegade ties rather than a weapon after what had transpired between Hexxis and himself.
Giving up on learning anything about Hexxis with Mise around, Kylar moved back into the crowd. Moving towards the Halloween themed games, Kylar caught sight of two familiar presences once more. Ree Luz and the Malice Ashral. Moving towards the edge of the crowd closest to the games he called out before ducking back into the mass of people. "Ree Luz, stop painting pumpkins and run!"
Kylar moved quickly through the crowd , moving from where people may congregate to see if Ree Luz was here. Although it was unlikely anyone would recognize him with the mask, Kylar goes he would isolate himself and the malice or even better abandon her to keep them from being spotted together.

[Zaku] Zaku frowned. "I'm not here for friends.. I told you I wasn't going to associate with them anymore. You aren't just transporation, and this isn't just for them, but for you too. We all needed a break. Not everything has to be a fight...." he commented softly. "Look, I'll stop dancing with you.. I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd get this upset about it." he sighed, "I just wanted to see you even remotely enjoy something about being here... if even for a split second." He shifted his gaze to the size and shoved his hands into his pockets with a defeated look.----------------- [Ashral] Ashral smiled at Ree, "Really? Thanks!" she leaned over to look at his pumpkin. "I like yours too!" she blinked and looked at the phone as he showed her. She almost grabbed the cellular device with both hands excitedly, amazed how it took and held moments in time within the screen. She'd have to remember to do that some time. "It's okay, we don't have to take it, the picture is enough." she responded, content to leave it with the other painted pumpkins in the windows.
She heard someone call Ree's name and there was a flicker of confusion on her face as she looked out to who was yelling but saw no one. They had screamed to run and she tensed. //...danger?..// she thought to Ree, scared to react or it would give him away. //what do we do...//

" I don't enjoy being here, and pushing the point is not going to change it" he said warningly even as Zaku looked away defeated. "Because this is fun for you...and you want me to...I don't know ..not fight with you. Then leave me b-".
Ree Luz, stop painting pumpkins and run!
Tri stopped aruptly and looked up, eyes widening in painful hope as he turned to face the game section, unable to see much due to the mass of people already in the area.
Moving past Zaku he started to head toward the area, his mind denying the fact Ree would even be here..but there was still a chance?
-------- Ree looked at the picture then the pumpkin and nodded smiling faintly. "Not to be cliche but a picture does last longer...doesn't mean I wouldn't have wanted to take it with us " he said looking at the other pumpkins with a faint smile, at least it they won't be lonely. He blinked at the thought and just shook his head moving back to finish up painting his own when he heard his name shouted out. Freezing he grasp the paintbrush in his hand with enough force to make the wood creak at the edge if breaking.// Yes... maybe....not sure// his focused mental voice to her sounded strain as everything he was feeling was shoved back and he started to coldly calculate what they should do as well as look for who he might have to kill for them to get out of here. // Stay here ...ignore it. It will still catch people's attention since they know you too and odd seeing us both together in different "costumes".//" It's Tron, not Ree !" he shouted back with a mutter and sighed making a whole play of going back to painting as I felt he didn't care.

[Zephyr] //It's just more than a little unnerving that someone had decided to completely mask their features when there's a murderer on the loose. Making me a little uneasy is all...he's probably making Mise uneasy as well..// He responded to her, looking over to Hexxis and giving her a soft smile as he followed Mise. "Depends on the project in question - Running a coffee shop right now..." -------- [Moira & Vic] Her facial expression gave her away before anything else, slowly looking over to the two figures, "Do you have anyone else that could possibly care for you at all?" Moira asked, worry very clear in her voice and expression as she moved to stand up.

[Hexxis] Hexxis nodded slowly and kept moving with Zephy and Mise. "I work in the coffee shop as well." she announced quietly, figuring it was important to bring it up. She kept her eyes trained on Mise, trying to understand his intention but couldn't tell the difference regardless and nodded, deeming it okay to proceed in her mind.---------------------------------- [Stormy] "He gets mad when I listen to music, yells at me a lot. And last time I tried singing, he knocked me to the ground." she added, "They make us eat bad food and we never get to leave our room. They even barred the windows so there's no way to get fresh air and get really mad about going outside for anything at all." She looked up at Moira and tilted her head with a frown. "They are always pawning us off on other people all the time. Or things like a computer. Or a tiger." she answered innocently. "But I can't talk to a computer... and the tiger just runs around and slams into all the furniture."---------------------------------- [Zaku] Zaku frowned as Tri seemed adamant about not wanting to be there. "I'm not trying to start anything, I'm sorry." he offered softly. He was about to agree to leaving him alone when a voice called out about Ree and he jerked his head to look in the same direction as Tri. He moved just a quickly, following behind Tri, if Ree needed an out, he'd be able to help, but who knew at this kind of party if it was real or not.---------------------------------- [Ashral] She tensed as he said to ignore it then immediately called out that he wasn't Ree. //Idiot! That's just as incriminating as reacting to it. Why would you say anything?!// she hissed in her mind, more out of panic then anger. She still kept her focus on the pumpkin, painting as best as she could but her hands were shaking, feeling the eyes of many people on them. //They're watching us... they might be suspicious....// she rambled in her mind, becoming increasingly more panicked internally as she tried to remain calm on the outside.---------------------------------- [Cordelia] Cordelia had been resting, having a fairly good time watching others dance before she heard someone scream out about Ree and her eyes shot over to the games where the pumpkins were. Was it really him? Or a prank? She wanted to go over there and make sure but she was worried of what would come of it. Eventually, she got up and moved to the crowd forming as she skirted around the edges to try to get a better look.

"Then Mrs Dad just puts his music up -really- high and ignores everything and doesn't help us when Mr Dad is kicking us. He just heals our bruises afterwards...he even healed my broken ribs and those hurt.. but i'm getting use to it now "he said looking sad as he reached up to huddle his arms close to his chest as if afraid. "They said I have to... because it will make me stronger and cause i'm a guy I can't cry" -------------- Tri wondered for a moment why Zaku as so apologetic and so invested that he have fun here other than it must be some kind of dare if not a trap itself. If he was still in SIU this wouldn't even be a problem since Zaku would be in custody....he didn't even know him.
Focusing on the direction he heard the voice he spotted the game and the small crowd that was forming with a faint frown as he slowed. ------------------ //Because they might not think of it if I say no? ::hesitant:: // // .....no ..the opposite ::a cold reply then a pause:: Ashral keep calm....// He focused on the pumpkin as people watched them. //I...am going to do something and see if we can manage. Keep an eye out for the person who shouted my name. Don't go after them just mark what they are wearing if they shout out again or follow// there was a dangerous flicker in his mental voice as he focused on the pumpkin intently then marked the exits and who might be between them and it from under his helmet. Once that was done he slammed the paint down hard. "Fu** this! This is why I didn't want to come! Can't have a nice time without people throwing out accusation" he said in a slightly deeper voice as he moved toward the crowd and flared his wings. "Boo! Damn you all...are all of you going to bother every black wing archangel you find ? Why don't you go bother that guy? or even that guy who looks like Zaku" he said motioning to Tri, then secondly to someone who was barely passing off as Zaku. "Or you know ...the huge person over there that -really- looks like Moira" he said waving toward the tallest person in the room in disgust. Shaking his head he looked back at Ashral.. "Thera come on, I told you this was going to suck. We might still make it to my parents party if we hurry " Shaking his head as he moved back to her and held out his hand. "Unless you really want to stay" he said with a suffering sigh but waited patiently for her answer. //ask to grab something to eat or wait a bit more for a friend, or even try to convince me to stay a little longer then we can go. // he advised worriedly, countering the angry sound of his voice. //This is fun!// // Angry Spirit..... angry// // That isn't hard...//

Kylar grinned in amusement. What had started as a simple taunt to see how Ree would react grew into more than he could have hoped for. Attempting to deny the claim he caused a scene drawing even more attention to himself and calling out others suspicious persons at the party, whether intentional or not. The crowd grew as he caused a scene, which made it even easier for Kylar to remain out of sight until the pair began to flee.
Waiting for a few moments as to avoid detection, Kylar stood back watching the pair leave the ball before taking chase. The ball is to public a venue, but perhaps they would lead him somewhere secluded a place they felt safe.

[Moira] Moira took in a breath and let it out slowly, uneasiness able to be read quite easily on her face as she was clearly not okay with the kids going through this sort of situation like they were - but there was always that chance that she wasn't getting the full story. Closing her eyes, she brought a hand up to her face, "Alright...are your parents here or did they just drop you off and walk away?" she asked, hoping for both options, but even if they were there, it's not like she could fully confront them.
