"..i don't want to go back to spectrum.." he mumbled with a frown but left his statement as it was. "For manes, it's mutual.. just like normal Manes, they understand what is happening and they agree to help me when I need it. As for Malice's, they don't know the difference.." he frowned sorrowfully, "..almost like mind control.. they don't know they are under my control and they don't remember being under my control after the connection is broken.." he answered. It was obvious that he would rather work with Manes than with Malices in using them, if at all.
As she spoke about still having him regardless, there was a faint smile, like he finally understood what Melody had told him, about feeling accepted and wanted. He wanted to believe her, but part of him doubted it was a feeling that even existed with the way his own father treated him. But with Mara, it was different, he wanted to hug her, but he decided against it. "...I understood why.." he mentioned, reassuring her that he was aware why he was left behind and that he had accepted that. However, when she mentioned his stalker, he frowned again, letting out a deep exasperated sigh. "...that too.." He leaned against Mara slightly even if he didn't rest his head again. He was just really happy to go back with Mara and see Melody again, a feeling that would have showed had he not come back to something she said previously. "....and Hexxis... is she okay?" he asked, afraid of the answer he might be given as he tensed up slightly.

"So you aren't a host like the others..you can control who is with you " she said with a soft sigh. "That is actually good....for your. Not having to worry of a malice is just waiting around until you're to weak to fight and tries to possess and take over. " she said with a frown, as always her mind focused on how things could always go wrong. "You are an anchor?... Ree said that once about trying to be that for Ashral. Now who knows what the heck he is doing now or where she is. Supposedly he found her...as unhappy as that makes me I am sure you would like to know" she muttered and closed her eyes as she took a breath.
"Ree went after Hexxis after Kage took her. He seemed to have gathered people to go after her. Renegades, Syth ... I have no freaking clue what side he is in now. Either ways I received a phone call from Tri that he now had Hexxis ..so as far as I know. Hexxis is safe...whether she returns is a different matter... she said opening her eyes. "So long story short. She's fine. " this time she smirked faintly feeling him lean against her slightly and letting him.

"I've learned a bit from them... I'm like a spirit guide I think... Well, not that I would have had much to worry about a malice taking over, Metas that aren't children can't get spirits..." he explained before frowning. "Nothing can take over without me knowing even when I'm weak, the reason I can allow them in is because I actively invite them in, if I don't invite them, they can't take over. Kira is the only one with enough power to contest my own, she seems to be a permanent anchor to me even if she comes and goes. If that makes any sense at all.."
He stared at her intently as she spoke of Ashral, he felt a slight sense of relief as well dread about the idea that Ree had found Ashral. While he was the least likely to kill her, he couldn't exactly be trusted enough to keep her safe either in his book. He nodded slowly, "Thank you.."
He was surprised to learn that Ree had gone after Hexxis and even appeared to have garnered the support of the renegades to get her. "He.. probably knows..." he muttered softly and sighed. "Unless I'm completely wrong and they just don't make any sense at all.." he added with another sigh. "I'm glad that Hexxis is safe... I'm sure regardless of whether she returns or not, she'll be happy being with Tri." he nodded slightly and took in a breath. This was nice. He didn't get to spend much time with his mother before she died, and wondered if this is what it was supposed to feel like. The only sense of family he had ever had was Melody, and he supposed this was fairly close.

"I don't know....I just don't know. He gets more unpredictable by year. " she sighed and let out a soft snort. " I am sure Hexxis would prepher to be with him...if she remembers him, that is what worries me. Still in the long run it is better...except the ownership case is still pending. I still need to keep fighting Haven over who owns her...I don't excatly need her here to do that. It just doesn't look good that I lost her and ...I'm complaining. " she waved her around and leaned back.
"Also I can think of a few uses for a spirit guide" she chuckled looking at him. "Or maybe quite a few actually... " she said with a flicker of worry, many of the things would at least alleviate some of her worry. In this she might be idealistic but if she was able to talk to the other side .... maybe he could ask some people some things.
"One thing..we currently have a guest doctor from Spectrum supposedly proving if the meta's we have have a mane or malice. I want you not to tell him what you can do, if you can pass without having a mane or malice in front of him better. I mean he barely like talking to people do that might not be to hard but still a possibility . Other wise.. Want to head out now?or have something else planned? "' she smirked.

"...I'm sure he'll come around.." he mumbled, almost hopeful. He sighed for a moment, then nodded, "That would be a hard one to fight being that she was taken.. but maybe there is more information about it that can help in that... until then, I've only heard bad things about Haven, from metas... from the spirits.. everyone."
He gave a single nod as she mentioned a use for him and how they had a doctor from spectrum that was proving the existence of manes and malices. "That should be easy not having one in front of him, I will just let Kira know she should be distant for a while. It won't be a problem." he assured then straighten up a bit.
"Yeah, we can go.. I don't have anything back at the mansion.. nor anything planned..." he spoke then looked to Mara. "I'm ready."

Mara snorted "Haven is bad. It's like someone grabbing an island made of ice and calling it Greenland then tricking people to come live there...that is pretty much what they are doing actually " she sighed. "Well then if you have nothing to grab let's go. Two jumps and a taxi ride to "new" SIU ...building. Of before I forget your new "girlfriend" is not invited... " she shook her head but smirked faintly, teasing. Getting up she dust herself off, taking one last look at the sea before pulling at the shadow in the area and attempting the double jump to a certIn Cafe where she can call for a taxi to pick them up.

Leukos seemed amused by the analogy about Haven, then seemed relieved about how quick it would get them to SIU... "new" SIU.. He paused as she spoke of one more thing, his face turning bright red, "S-she's not my girlfriend!" he retorted quickly then looked away almost in a slight huff. "...please don't tell Melody..." he muttered softly, incredibly embarrassed that Mara had to even see her and think he'd replaced Melody. He sighed with exasperation. "..let's just go.."

Mara smirked and pulled at the shadows before stopping. "Okay two more things" she looks faintly put off.
"Or three. Melody's mane is ..your grandmother Alice.... Your other grandmother Syth is also part of SIU before she ran off with Ree to rescue Hexxis and may or may not be wanted." She let out a sigh at that since she was still trying to find Syth. "There are two new children that are currently my second in command's meta children who I might or might not quietly dispose of in trash can if they break another generator and..... We have one true shadow named Farrow who will be helping on the none meta's end. As for personal and security .... I am trying to make that more of a priority. That should be it before we jump. Any questions?" She smirked faintly.

Leukos started laughing a bit as Mara went on about Alice and Syth. He already knew that.
He listened to her talk of the children and Farrow then exhaled and gave a faint smile. "You really need a break, don't you?..." he commented softly.
It seemed she had forgotten that he had been living with Alice and Syth up until the time she took them with her to SIU, and furthermore that he was a telepath that could have figured it out on his own if he really wanted to, although, he generally didn't use it since there had been no need for it, and he didn't want to invade her privacy like that and startle her.... like he had before.

Mara stared at him then placed her hand on her head. "You lived with her....That feels ..dumb. " she sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "Vacation...hah. Very much so except I am the only person that they were able to get from old SIU and this is after I was technically dismissed..paper wise. So ... Stuff. " she muttered as she reached up to touch her neck slightly. "Let's go " she pulled the shadow to her and jumped twice.(Shadow jump:0 left))
They reappeared in an alleyway right by a cafe as she made a face at the smell. "I'll call a cab....I assume you haven't eaten so want to grab something as we wait?"

"It's okay... You seem like you've been through a lot.. Almost dying and all." he sighed sorrowfully. "I know it's only been a few days, but it really sounds like Melody has grown so much." he spoke casually then nodded.
As they reached the cafe he kept his composure about it all even when he wasn't used to jumping like that or honestly being to fond of public places. He swished his tail out of nervousness even if it didn't show in his face. "Sounds good.." he spoke bluntly as he moved into the cafe and kept a close eye on the surroundings.

"She has, I think being attacked by a crazed lunatic in a suit then having children trying to electrocute her does that " she yawn and paused. "Again...she is fine. Just fine. When I am thinking better I will stop blathering things all over the place.....Coffeeeeeeee" she muttered opening the door and just making a beeline to the start of the line as she quickly called a cab.

He was trying not to get to hung up on the words she spoke about what had happened to Melody, and resisted the urge to pry telepathically as she moved into the cafe with him. "Coffee sounds good... really good." he commented as he thought back on the cup he didn't finish back at the mansion. Oh well, he could have some more now. He was wary of the looks he was getting, not sure if people were staring at his horns, his rainbow hair, or his multi-colored tail.. or a combination of the three. He sighed as he focused on Mara and ordering coffee. Those were his top priorities right now.
As he collected his coffee, he found a table for the two of them to sit at to wait for the cab to arrive. Sighing, as he leaned back in his chair a bit, a thoughtful expression on his face.

Mara nodded and bought two large cups of coffee one with enough space for leukos to allow cream or anything else he would like to add to it, as she just added sugar and little cream to hers. He bought two pastries as well and lead him over to a table as she motioned him to go in as she took the other side, positioning herself so she would have the most view of the room but other wise looked relaxed as she started sipping the coffee without touching the pastry.
"It's the colors" she muttered quietly as if she understood what he was doing, her eyes closed for the moment and she just savored the flavor. Opening them again she looked Leukos up and down then nodded. "At least that would be it for me. " she leaned back again and went silent, closing her eyes.

Leukos put quite a considerable amount of cream and sugar before stirring it and sipping at it deeply. He keep his narrowed gold eyes glancing at stares before setting on Mara again and sighing then nodded slightly.
After about halfway down drinking his coffee, he set eyes on Mara quietly. "There was something I wanted to bring up... not exactly important... but it pertained to manes and malices... After spending the time I did to learn about them, and how my contracts with them work... I've come to be able to tell the difference between them... even if they shift... through regret or hatred.. their emotions are strong, and I can feel them.." he spoke, keeping his voice low, between them. "Like, I can now tell looking back that Alice wasn't always a Mane... It's hard to explain, but I know that others were looking for that... I'm quite a value spectacle it seems.." he frowned slightly but then kept composure, leaning forward a bit. "I wanted to tell you that... if it will help in any way as some kind of power play or be of any use at all to you, you may do so with that information as you wish or if you need me to do something, simply ask..." he offered then leaned back in his chair again and sipped at his coffee again.
