My theme song might be "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" or "Kids in America". Or maybe even "Walking on Sunshine".

Do you smile 'cause I'm funny? said the man I wasn't joking and I meant the thing I said Not at all, not at all Said the woman to the man I was thinking of an unrelated thing Unconnected and free No relationship to anything How come you never look me in the eye? Aren't you listening to me said the man Not at all, not at all Said the woman to the man I'm still thinking of an unrelated thing Somewhere other than here Something else besides the man Please explain the expression on your face Then I'll know what's beneath it said the man No you won't, no you won't Said the woman to the man I'll be thinking of an unrelated thing I'll be thinking of an unrelated thing

"Extra Savoir-Faire" by They Might be Giants
When I walk down the street, most guys look like elves I don't mean to put them down but they do It's hard to understand me from the language I use There's no word in English for my style
What's a man like me supposed to do With all this extra savoir-faire What is left for me to prove, dear
I know just what to do when the ladies come 'round You can try to copy me but you'll fail Now, you might think you're different but time will prove me right When you wake up from your dream I'll be gone
What's a man like me supposed to do With all this extra savoir-faire What is left for me to prove, dear

She's the spirit of your sorrow and the reason for your tears... |~^.[ Perhaps The End by Roadrunner United:
Just when you thought it was over The sky turned black and we all fell to Earth Dead in our tracks, we were frozen in fact Choking to breathe, then came the seas Wash away impurities, wash away all that couldn’t be
Everyone will be washed away Drowning in the hell that we made I cannot believe THAT OUR end is so near
Everyone will be washed away Drowning in the hell that we made I cannot believe THAT OUR end is so near
Standing at the end of our world Breathing in the chaos behold None will be found, it’s all toppling down Cities will seethe, none could believe Wash away impurities, wash away all that couldn’t be
Everyone will be washed away Drowning in the hell that we made I cannot believe THAT OUR end is so near
Everyone will be washed away Drowning in the hell that we made I cannot believe THAT OUR end is so near
Save me Save me from what will engulf this world Save us Save us from the end, save us from ourselves Save me Save me from what will engulf this world
Just when you thought it was over The sky turned black and we all fell to Earth (fell to Earth)
Everyone will be washed away Drowning in the hell that we made I cannot believe THAT OUR end is so near
And that probably gives you an idea about the type of person I am.
My other pick would be Imaginary by Evanescence. ].^~| ...She's your fury and your glory and your deepest, darkest fears.

"A Skull Full of Maggots," by Cannibal Corpse. I feel it describes me perfectly.
In all seriousness, though, as much as I hate to admit it...something off Pink's M!ssundaztood album (either Lonely Girl, Don't Let Me Get Me, or My Vietnam.) I've been listening to her since like 6th grade.
If something more recent, probably "Trust Me" by the Fray.
Looking for something I've never seen
Alone and I'm in between
The place that I'm from and
The place that I'm in
A city I've never been
I found a friend, or should I say foe
Said just a few things you should know
We don't want you to see
We come and we go
Here today, gone tomorrow
We're only taking turns
Holding the world
It's how it's always been
When you're older, you will understand
If I say who I know it just goes to show
You need me less than I need you
Take it from me
We don't give sympathy
You can trust me, trust nobody
But I said you and me
We don't have honesty
The things we don't want to speak
I'll try to get out but I never will
Traffic is perfectly still
We're only taking turns
Holding this world
It's how it's always been
When you're older you will understand
And again maybe you don't
And again maybe you won't
When you're older
You might understand
When you're older
You might understand
