The only costume thing I ever won was a teddy bear for a geisha costume when I was like...eleven. Hehe.

Congrats on the win..though I personally can't stand watching more than ten minutes of DB(any of em) before I start thinking that gnawing off an important body part would be more fun...

I never won any costume contests, but I had a really good costume when I was in 5th grade. I was a jack-in-the-box. I wore all black, did my face like a jester, wore a jester collar and hat, and made the box out of my old computer box. I held the box up with ribbon suspenders. ^_^

The only problem was that because of the crank on the side (also made with cardboard), the box was very awkward to move around in. But it was probably my best costume ever. smile
