Roy winced as he rolled over in the dirt. He huffed as he stood to face the other enemies which just seemed to keep flowing like the water they had sent at him. Mustang runted as he stood, dammit he got hit---in the shoulder. Damned them, he was bleeding now. The jacket had a blood stain seeping through the fabric. He looked over his shoulder to Ed with a smirk. "I didn't ask for your help Squint."
He yelled as he chuckled discarding his jacket to the fierce winds his lean yet muscular upper body only covered by a thin and sticking to his torso tank. He smirked as he raced out to the battlefield again. His dance seemed forced and yet still roughly graceful. He growled as he continued cuttting down alchemist afte alchemist he damned their numbers. Turning back to the other two he yelled at Ed and Jean.
"Retreat!" He couldn't stop all of them, not the three of them or even their small numbers could it was liked they replicated over and over, multiplying. He hated to retreat in the heat of battle but they had to or Ed would get hurt---or worse they'd be taken. And the hell if he'd allow that!

Ed didn't even respond to the inslut as he exchanged a look with Jean, who shrugged and did as he was told, Ed growled; he didn't want to retreat either and he certiantly didn want those b*****d following them back to HQ. With a growl Ed ran forwed and clapped his hands, he slammed them into the ground and created a huge wall that cut the tank and other offiecers off from them, then he grabbed Mustang's arm and pushed him "Get moving you b*****d, that wall won't hold em for long!"

Mustang immediately looked to Ed and smirked. He allowed himself o be pulled along and nodded. "Alright Squirt lead the way." He stated with a cocky smirk. He ran with the others back to HQ. Roy didn't, or couldn't think about the other's hand along his arm the pain in his shoulder panged. As they approached headquarters he spotted Al sneaking out and warned Ed with a tap on the youth's shoulder. "Hey---you have an escapee." He noted pointing to the other.

Triku Keimari Mustang immediately looked to Ed and smirked. He allowed himself o be pulled along and nodded. "Alright Squint lead the way." He stated with a cocky smirk. He ran with the others back to HQ. Roy didn't, or couldn't think about the other's hand along his arm the pain in his shoulder panged. As they approached headquarters he spotted Al sneaking out and warned Ed with a tap on the youth's shoulder. "Hey---you have an escapee." He noted pointing to the other.

Al was looking from side to side as he tried to escape his long blue coat wrapped around him, he had to go find ed and make sure he was safe, along with the others in the military
he froze when he heard his broters voice and looked in that direction "brother!" he exclaimed runnign to meet the trio "are you alright?" he had ben so worried

Al returned the hug gladly "don't you think I feel the same way brother, I'd rather be beside you then sitting here waiting and worrying, never knowing if something bad is happening or not" his tone was soft as always
He had caught the slip up as well as seen the faint blush, he knew how his brotehr felt towards the colornal, if not before ed hismelf had realised it, but he had kept quiet like the good brother he was.

Ed sighed; he knew Al would never like Ed going off alone, he supposed the stroies of what they had done together when searching for the stone, made al want to fight next to him again. "I know i know, but...I'd rather be out thier fighting and knowing your safe" Ed chukled and Hugged his bother again "Come on lets go inside and eat something Im starved"

Ed bit his lip and looked over at the Colonel, he knew that Roy's shoulder was in pretty bad shape, and even if the man didn't look it, he must be in a hell of a lot of pain. "...Al, go to the mess hall and get me something to eat, I'll take the b*****d to the medical wing" Ed said, smiling reasuurdadly to Al.

Ed smiled and nodded "Hai! i'll meet you there" he said turning around and heading into the large building, happy he could help, he hated feeling useless, and even if it was something simple like getting his brother food, it made him happy to know he was aiding his brother somehow.
He reached the kitchens and got a dining kart, he had to make sure he had enough food for ed, but as well the colonel would need food as well.
his own stomach growled and he chuckled sheepishly, so maybe he too had forgotten to eat in his worry.
after he had piled the cart to it's capacity he started the slow trek all the way across HQ towards the hospital wing.

Triku Keimari Roy's cheeks spread with a light blush turned to the other officer and yelled. "What the hell is with that Havoc?!" He yelled irritatedly, embrassed. He did thinkt he youth was quite cute but that didn't change the fact that business came before pleasure for such a man as Mustang. He sighd as he ran his fingers through black locks. He sighed as he looked to the sky. "He's troublesome...but he always improves..." He grumbled the comment as he felt his muscles stretching in his wounded shoulder and winced turning from the other alchemists---the Elric brothers---and brushing white gloved finger tips over the newly reopened and damaged wound. He cursed under his breath as he straightened his posture quickly turning towards the face of the HQ and walked on to go get the wound taken care of. "See you later Havoc...I need to take care of a small scratch." The colonel said wih a soft reassuring smile.
