Jean Noh Sifen Yamishi I could see this being a long-term discussion in the Depot forum actually. biggrin How would you like to help Lawrence run that forum? I'd be comfortable as a backup to Lawrence in that forum. My social media knowledge is not the best in terms of what's trending, plus school is threatening to kick my butt (my first round of tests are coming up and I have a team presentation to help create). Then I leave you both to formulate the discussion from what you suggested as a Sticky for that forum.

Sifen Yamishi Jean Noh Thanks again for PM'ing me! This doesn't have to be topic #3, or maybe this could be split up into multiple topics since there's a lot to it, but social media. Could include or even be split into stuff like: - best trans*-friendly social media platforms (and what to avoid) - safe practices in terms of disclosure and privacy - meet-ups and maybe dating? I'm totally ignorant on this one sweatdrop - reporting and handling harassment Maybe over time we could even build a recommendations list to sticky on the forums. I could see this being a long-term discussion in the Depot forum actually. biggrin How would you like to help Lawrence run that forum? I could see meet-ups and dating as being one discussion. There are alot of points to make on those to alone but most are similar points. Like feeling safe being out about yourself and maybe public etiquette that people follow. I.E.; whether or not you correct name/pronouns or how you deal with people being rude and just ignoring it. Just adding to it...

Since ultra-conservatives seem to be targeting "bathroom panic" as their next bigoted plan to make money (look up the TX bill where not only does the "offender" get in trouble, but a manager who allows it to happen is punished, too), would discussing handling public restrooms be a suitable topic?
I know trans people who are directly affected by this nonsense in my state, people who transitioned years ago and still have anxiety over using public restrooms in general so this makes it so much worse. I also think these awful laws could impact more than just trans people. I could see these laws being used to discriminate against ciswomen who don't appear "girl" enough (it's happened before), against a cisman who choses to dress androgynously; these laws SHOULD fall apart when you consider the number of fathers who still can't find a changing table in a men's room, the number of people who are caretakers for those who need assistance using a bathroom, and so on, but bigots keep bigoting!

So this is a personal topic id like to discus.
body altering for those who are biologically male/female but want to be more of the opposite gender physically.
For me personally its breasts alteration. Im male and i want them but i don't want a v****a and i have a female friend who wants to remove her breasts for a more male chest.

Hello! I was wondering if maybe we could include a cosplay/costuming thread? I looked around and I didn't think I saw one, and I know a few people in here have expressed an interest in cosplay! It would be nice to see what other people do, as well as get tips for things like creating costumes, cosplaying while trans, make-up/special effects, materials, etc.
(Also if this thread already exists could someone link me to it? OTL thanks)
