i totally don't understand why kikyo keeps coming back to life. she keeps dying and stuff...but she doesn't go away!! ahh!! oh well...she'll be gone one day neutral

Sola Asura She needs to let go of InuYasha and accept the fact that InuYasha now wants to protect Kagome. Ding Ding Ding! Yes! Finally someone to agree with, I would like to start by saying that I Hate Kagome. When it comes to these debates I usually side with Kikyo, just because Kagome’s ignorance drives me crazy. You would think that after a while she would finally understand why Inuyasha still cares about Kikyo. Had it not been for Naraku, Inuyasha would have become human, Kikyo would have never died, and they both would have lived happily ever after… (And they would have never met that witch Kagome.) But yes I agree with you, Kikyo and Inuyasha need to realize that they can never be together, Kikyo is nothing more then a reanimated corpse… Their dreams were killed the moment Naraku was born.

okay guys im here to set the record straight.... kikyo cant die shes already dead... and as kagome said in one of the early episodes
when kikyo asked why she saved her
" because a certain guy we both know would be heart broken" and then she left... i like to think kikyo is a wondering soul her heart was broken when she died... inuyasha still loves kikyo... if you watched the 4th movie youd know....
so next time get the facts straight before you inusult the dead... just beciuase their not real doesnt meam we should treat them like they dont have meaning...

Poor kikyo gets a bad rap. She didn't ask to be brought back. While it would help Kagome if Kikyo would finally keel over, as the last person who posted said, Inuyasha would be heartbroken. Cant have the hero of the series be heartbroken.

I don't get it. Kagome is mad that InuYasha and Kikyo love eachother, yet he gets mad at InuYasha and saves Kikyo...REPEATEADLY

ALERT! ALERT! NEWS FLASH!!!
Kikyou is already dead. She died fifty years ago and she can't get any dead-er than she is now. Meaning, Kikyou does not keep on coming back, she merely survives injuries like everyone else. And speaking of which, the Kikyou we are all acquainted to is not the real Kikyou. She is merely a copy made of bones and burial soil. The real Kikyou's soul has been reincarnated as Kagome.
Also... [spoilers]in the manga, Kikyou's soul has finally been put to rest. She shared hers and Inuyasha's first kiss before her soul ascended to heaven.[/spoilers]
As for Naraku, he can't die just yet, because he's the main villain from the Inuyasha universe (but I have to say, his death is coming very soon). Therefore, he's obviously going to be the last to go down.
@ InuYasha girl: Kagome saves Kikyou for the sake of Inuyasha. She is a selfless girl (not that Kikyou isn't either) and if Kikyou is the one that makes Inuyasha happy then she will do whatever it takes to save her. Also, Kagome is HUMAN, meaning if she sees someone she loves hanging out with another woman--whom she felt was treating Inuyasha unjustly--then of course she's going to get angry and yell at him. Because Inuyasha is the one that keeps on running off to see Kikyou.

rane-gel kagome saved kikyou because shes way too nice. kagome is like the goodie two shoes in inuyasha she couldnt let kikyou die in the water like that, besides those two little girls were asking her if she was going to save kikyou or not besides its not kikyou's fault that kagome is in love with inuyasha Yea, but over and over, kagome saves kikyo rolleyes ...her rival for InuYasha's affection. She is nice, but she should be like "No one messes with my man dramallama " and forget about Kikyo. Sad thing is that she can never be with him in the end. I mean, she's from current day Japan and he lives in the Fudal era...wierd, InuYasha could somehow be related to her.

Eh? Why would you want Kikyou to die? Sure, she tried to steal back HER soul from Kagome and try to bring Inuyasha to the underworld with her, but she was once a kindhearted woman who suffered a lot. I think she's a nice woman, but she's not as awesome as Sango. whee
