Was she flirting with him? Mappel blushed gently at her words. Placing the books under his arm he allowed the woman to lead him to wherever she was going. So Elvara was her name? It was pretty, nay beautiful.
"Your name is just as grand Elvara." he said returning her kind gesture. Oddly, she seemed interested in him. Mappel could tell, being someone who had a thing for women. She was delicate and beautiful, he had no clue she was what his raced called A Curse One. From what he was taught, Vampires were a cursed race, yet he had always wondered why? Mappel had respect for every race so, Human or not, it didn't matter to him what she was.
"This place is so busy, it's my first time to this glorious city! One of my many stops around the world!" he said happily and casually as they walked.

She gave a small smile, turning her head behind her occasionally to see if he was okay with keeping up. Eventually Elvara slowed down so they were walking side by side, it was easier to converse that way. She was actually leading him to her home, it wasn't to kill him, trap him or anything, Elvara was just tired.. being a vampire she should've been sleeping that time of day but food was much more important. If she didn't have her vials a monster would crawl out of her, killing anything with a heartbeat, not even thinking twice.
"OH! It's your first time in the city? I won't keep you too long then, I just need to get these to my home." the further she walked, the more rundown and overgrown the area seemed to be. Till she came to a lone cottage, the picket fence had paint complete peeled off, holes in the roof due to weathering and age. Was she seriously living here? She didn't look like a dirty person or anything.

(Btw, did you want me to make that one on one thread? I wasn't sure. lol)
"No that's alright. I have no plans honestly Elvara." he replies to her shifting the books a bit in his arms. She led him to an odd part of town, a part where not much sunshine exhisted. They walked awhile until they came across a small rundown cottage.
She lived here? This woman was so elligant and grand? Still Mappel tried his best not to insult her, after all it was rude to just judge someone's house like that. "It seems like a quiet street. So you live in this city Elvara? What's it like? I've..never been to a big city before well not anyone bigger than my home city that is."
The elf felt oddly curious and wanted to stay, though the woman looked tired.

(no no.. im writing it as I speak haha! It's mega long! sorry!! I'm posting and writing that up at the same time really (: )
Finally her umbrella could be taken down, as it folded all neatly she hooked it over her arm. With a bit of force the front door was open, a deep smell of death wafted out from the home, something must of happened here long ago. Standing be the front door she began to answer his questions. "Oh this street? Yes it um has been abandoned for many years, or so I've heard anyway..." she almost nearly slipped up about her age then. "This house was umm part of an inheritance" that was a big fat lie too, she had lived in that house since she got married as a human all those years ago. It was a wedding present from her husband because she always wanted a family home with a massive front garden and white picket fence. In it's heyday it was perfect, like a dream family home.
"This is city is rather nice I have to admit, but like most cities there are rules and such" she didn't feel the need to tell him about the no interbreeding rule because he probably didn't need to know that information if he was just passing through, but if he asked she would've replied. Suddenly she realised it would be rude to just close the door on him without a proper thank you. That was part of her human nature, the one thing the vampirc curse didn't taint, her manners. "umm... do you like cake Mappel?" Elvara asked, quickly closed the living room door so he wouldn't peek in there.

(Pfft! I don't mind no need to apologize. My posts can get long when I'm creative enough lol. ^^ Seriously I've had so much fun roleplaying with you. smile I don't care how long your posts are. ^^)
Mappel was a bit confused indeed but this woman seemed nice so he didn't feel the need to ask any inapropriate questions. His short and long ears perked up when she mentioned the word cake. Was she inviting him in? The whole thought made him blush a little.
"Yes, I like cake. I mean us elves love our sweets, but being a Hunter I'm not really into them as much. Don't want to be getting a gut." he chukled lightly. "Still, if you are offering it would be my pleasure Miss Elvara." he replies gently handing her the books now that her hands were free. Mapple would never enter a house unless he was invited in, out of respect for the person. He stood there and smiled at her warmly.
This Elvara was a pretty nice Human, a little odd, but nice.

(dawwww 4laugh )
She took all the books carefully, going into the living room she was so secretive about. "Go in the dining area, make yourself at home.. I'll just put these away" Elvara called out, placing each book in a handmade case. Most were about spells while others were theories of the vampric condition and possible cures. She had only recently considered becoming human once more in that past five years or so. So far nothing she read had worked.
After finished off what she wanted to do, she closed the door behind her, walking into the dining room to see how Mappel was doing. The inside of her house didn't seem as aged. Sure it was a little dusty, but other then that it was well kept. The dining table was solid oak, the polish had rubbed off over the years but all it really needed was a new coat on it. Elvara made lots of clattering noises as she got out a plate, she hadn't any guests in years so the plate needed a clean to get any dirt or dust of it. She walked back over to him, plate.. with cake in hand. "It's lemon drizzle cake.. I made it myself" Elvara loved to bake, sadly she had no one to cook for. Once in a while she would make a biiiiiig batch and sell in the market, so that's why she had a spare cake lying around. she would make cookies for the children, prune scones for the pensioners and everything in between. She loved to feed people, always had done. "Enjoy..."

( biggrin )
Mappel was amazed at how nice her house looked. Yeah it had a little dust, but it was still very nice. Sitting in the dining area, he began to ponder if she had anyone else living with her. It was kind of a bit big on the inside. Looks were a bit decieving with the house.
When the woman returned she suddenly appeared again, with cake. Mappel smiled happily and took a bite. Blushing he let out a peacefull and happy mmmmm... sound. "This is delicious! I'm not that big a cake person, but it's light and fluffy. The lemon isn't too overpowering..you put alot of love and care into this. I can tell." he commented happily then stopped to wonder why she wasn't eating a piece herself? Still maybe she wasn't hungry. "You must be some sort of baker right?" he asked with deep and child-like curiosity in his eyes.

Sadly she wouldn't of been able to even have a slice of the yummy cake she had made. Food would taste like dirt in her mouth, it was most unpleasant. Something she had gotten used to really, it had been a pain when first turning into a cursed creature. Although blood was interesting to her, the age of it, species and many other implications determined the taste. It was like shopping for wine when out looking for prey in a way.Every single being has a unique taste, from the impact of their lifestyle and other such things. Luckily she had learned to cook way before her life changed forever. She constantly baked for others but only took it up recently again. Due to her previous experience, Elvara felt confident in her baking, not needing to taste a thing. "I do bake quite alot, it gives me a little pocket money. I take over a market stool once every two weeks. I have to pay rent for the day of course but every penny counts right?"
"Ahh... the secret to that texture is in the mixing itself" Elvara winked, before his pulse stood out to her on her neck and wrists. Shaking her head to snap out of it, she moved away to the kitchen sink. Looking out the window she pulled out a vial from her cleavage and knocked back the contents. It was like a buzz rushing through her body! The same feeling, over and over with every drop of blood she ever drank, it was like a drug.. it made her feel amazing, gave her strength, kept her alive... but others had to die to supply it. Elvara hands gripped the basin of the sink as the blood began to kick in. The veins in her eyes turned to a shiny black before engulfing her whole iris with it.

Mappel had to agree and figured she must have made enough to sustain herself. He was about to speak when suddenly the woman began to act strange and retired to the sink. She was doing something with one of the vials, she had dropped earlier, but Mappel couldn't see much from the location to where he was sitting.
A slight feeling of uneasiness fell over him, like he had been led into a den of hungry snakes. The elf had a keen sense of detecting danger, and was glad he still had his small one handed sword and bow with him, in case he had to use them. After a bit of silence, and a small bit of feeling his heart race a bit in fear, the elf stood up.
"Well, it has been a long day for you Miss, and I'm sure you're tired. I do appreciate your hospitality, but I must be going. I've got more of this city to explore after all. First I need to find some bearings for the night, and a way to make some coin so I can save enough to travel once more." he said in a slight shakey voice.
Mappel had spent the amount of coin he had getting to this city, so now with only a few coppers left to his name, the elf needed to find an odd job or two. Maybe there was a place to look for hunting monsters? The elf was skilled at doing so, yet his first concern was to make sure the woman was alright. After all it was rude to just leave abruptly.
"Pardon my rudeness, but..are you..alright Ms. Elvara?" he asked with one hand resting upon the hilt of his blade obviously.

Her grip became even more ferocious until the effects of the blood hit her brain, making her body do completely limp. The red drug she craved had kicked in fully, satisfying her hunger. All of her senses were heightened on this amazing little fluid, she could hear his heartbeat pick up it's pace from the confusion. He reeked of fear, she could smell it now.
With a moan like sight, Elvara looked to the ceiling and ran her fingers through her long ebony coloured hair. Her form didn't change back however, something inside her stopped it even happening. If he saw the creature she really was, he would probably hunt her down on the spot, men with weapons didn't use them to butter their bread every morning, the ones he had had one purpose, killing. The brunette woman turned to him after his question, revealing her eyes to be completely opaque. With a roll of her shoulders she walked over to him, pacing round him in a circle, smirking the entire time. "I'm fine now..." she whispered, trailing a finger over his body as she continued to circle him "Oh? you have to leave so soon?... that's a shame... please do visit if you ever stop by though" What the hell did she drink? It had brought out a very seductive side to her it seemed.

He swallowed hearing her seductively wisper into his ear. Mappel's body froze a little as she paced around him. The elf felt like he was a rabbit slowly being coiled around by a viper.
"W-Well, you have been a kind and most gracious hostess Elvara. If there is anything, or any use of my service, that you may need of me please let me know. After all you have been kind to me and I have not done anything in return..it is only fair that I find something that will give you the same pleasure you have given me." He felt so awkward, the elf had a feeling she wouldn't just let him so so easily.
He sensed dark magic suddenly, just what was this woman planning? Or was she just a common Human at all? Mappel felt like a fool, walking home with a woman who lived in an abandoned part of town. If she had desired to kill him, there would be no one to witness. Though he had to get out, the more he stood there, the more the coils would wind around him tighter.

╬══ ℋanometh ℭeltore ══╬ Seek. Find. Aid. Advise. ╬ --- ℋanometh walked through the market place at a slow crawl. It was difficult to weave through the crowd. How all these people could stand to be crowded together in one place she didn't know, but she needed supplies and she wasn't going to get them anywhere else. She didn't need food or clothing. She had plenty of both. What she needed was a potion. ------It was not everyday that she had to buy potions. Most of the time she found that useless. But lately she needed something to help replenish her strength. A long week of taking apart random spells while still keeping a human form was difficult. At least potions were a very efficient type of magic. One she never really studied. Now if she could only find that right stand. ------There was a part in the crowd that she pushed toward, hoping to take advantage of the opening. However, at the edge she stop short, seeing that the crowd was avoiding a large scattering of items. Namely pots and pans. Only a young girl and a man, who Hanometh presumed to be the pottery owner, picking up the man's wares. ------"Do you need some assistance?" she asked, kneeling down to pick up a deep cooking pot by her feet.--- ╬

She stopped for a moment at his words and sleekly moved to the front of him now, tip toeing her fingers up his chest. Being a vampire they were all about seduction, blood gave that effect on her, whether she liked it or not it was like a chemical turn on. "mmmmmm you'd like to give me pleasure?" she asked as the words rolled off her tongue, putting emphasis on the last one.
Without even asking his permission, the strange woman began to undo the first few buttons of his shirt. From her signs she clearly wanted to do something with him...

Mappel blushed and gently held onto her hands. "P-Please! C-Calm yourself..are you feeling alright?" he asked blushing deeply. Mappel himself was a bit of a flirt sometimes with the ladies, but when it came to the opposite attention from them he got nervous. He could tell she wanted something from him and took a deep breath.
"Let's just..get to know each other first. I-I wouldn't want to impose..or harm you in any way." he said with politeness but kind of got the feeling she wasn't listening to him. Her eyes appeared like she didn't care what he thought.
Slowly backing away Mappel fell into one of the chairs within the small area he was in. An old love seat. The elf was trapped now, stuck with a lonely woman probably that wanted something from him.

Elvara didn't seem to be pay attention to anything he said. It didn't even hit her ears long enough for it to sink in. She would reply though.. "Why do we have to?.. it's just a little fun.." she whispered once more, sitting on his lap. "you don't need to know someone for something like this...do you?" Elvara said, acting all innocent.
With a sly smirk, she planted a deep kiss on his lips. That was until the effects wore off.. it was only a small amount of blood after all. Her hunger would be fine for a few days, it was just the personality changes that had worn off. Taking her lips off his, her eyes were sprung open.. falling backwards from the shock of what she was doing... "I'm so sorry!!!.." Elvara panicked, shuffling herself backwards on her bottom till her back hit the table. She was so ashamed and embarrassed..
