"It can do many things, and has weaknesses that I even know nothing of." Quint spoke sagely, running through the list of skills the creature had.
"For starters, every fluid that runs through the beast's form is a highly corrosive acid, able to burn through the strongest of metals. The three heads he owns for tails are able to think for themselves, and they even have legs that they use to move around on the ground to bite prey. His tongue bears an alchemic symbol on it, similar to this one.."
Quint walked to the far wall, grabbing a single sheet of paper with one of his symbols on it. The name for this one was 'Destruction'. A fitting name, as the symbol destroyed whatever was inside of it into it's core elements.
"It eats anything, and everything. From rocks on the ground to buses, if it can bite down on it, it will eat it, using the broken down nutrients to fuel itself. Extremely powerful, it can break concrete and steel without really trying, using it's weight in most cases to break through barricades and doors. Also agile, it can out run freeway cars for up to 300 yards."
Quint placed the piece of paper back onto the wall. "And that's just for starters. As I've shown in the video, his skin is unusually resistant to...well..everything. Blunt, sharp, piercing, explosive, biological and even nuclear weapons don't work well against it. Weirdest thing though.."
He paused again, confused, "Is that it seems to like things trying to hurt it. A strange trait, but nothing I can take advantage of, unless I found something that could hurt it."
Quint then walked to his desk, grabbing a folder. "I think this is the only thing that could work against it.." Opening the folder, a large blueprint was unfolded, and written on it was the most complicated symbol Quint had ever done.
"I call it a 'Homoculus Seal', because it seals Homoculi. ((Plural: Homoculus =..? sweatdrop )) I believe it would work, but I would need enough time to actually get the seal on the ground, then get 'it' onto the seal." Quint sighed, frustrated that he couldn't do it alone.
"I really should give..'it' a name. 'It' should have one." Quint thought outloud, going over the thing's behaviors again.
"The insatiable appetite, the lust for pain..." He was silent for a few moments...
"Gluttony."
Having explained all, Quint shrugged his shoulders, "That's what it does. That's what it is. That's what I have to kill...before it kills me."

((Octopus = Octopi Sucubus = Sucubi Homoculus = Homoculi
I've actually seen it used before, too.))
Gatz hmmed and hawwed, engrossed in deep thought.
"... I'd rather we called it Fluffy," he finally decided, grinning.
"And have you tried an ion satalite or orbital pulse cannon, by any chance? Or the combination of super-pressure and intense heat burying it in the core of the planet would produce? Besides, if it's only the skin that's resitant, that still leaves us some opennings..."
"Oh, and enjoying when things try to hurt you and fail isn't that uncommon. It gives you the high feeling that you're utterly invincble and the master of your surroundings. I'm sure there's some term for it, but for right now I'm going to call it the 'Godzilla Complex.'"

"--It's a blast, really. Um, not that I know from personal experience or anything..." he lied; badly.

Aonice sighed, and stood up, Crossing her arms. "Ever tried poking it in the eye.. or something? Maybe give it a healing potion, or figure out a way to allow it's acid to eat it from the inside out. Cause if it can store acid on the inside, it's probably more resiliant than gat'z thinks.." She said firmly, but then opened her eyes and looked over towards quint.. "In all honesty, I can't help"

"Not exactly. What an acid will eat through mosty depends on that chemical composition of the object it touches. For example, the acid in you tummy--" Gatz said, reaching out and furiously tickling Aonice's exposed belly, "--would eat through the stomache wall, if not for the resisant lining of mucus that continually replenishes itself."
"Considering that this thing creates acid in greater amounts and of a stronger pH level than anything else on the planet, it's probably safe to assume that it's immune to it's own secrections. But since it's so acidic, a high concentraion of base chemical would probably be devastating against it... have you tried that, Quint? It's not really possible for a thing adapted to acid to be adapted to base at the same time, which is why most life evolved to live in a neutral pH environment."
Gatz looked thoughtful for a moment.
"... Though I suppose it might be some sort of biological ceramic construct. Hmm... that would explain a few things..."

(( Aonice's tummy is wrapped in a couple bandages, silly razz ))
Aonice looked back at Gatz, she herself didn't exactly know how to deal with acid, and found this interesting..

Gatz saw the confused look on Aonice's face.
"... As the saying goes, 'Acid, base, blow up in my face.' You never did that fun little experiment with the vinger and baking soda as a kid..? It's the same deal, only on a higher level. Considering the power of the acid, and thus the base we'll need, we'd all better duck when we douse this thing with lye... or something stronger. As for the last part, ceramics and glass tend to be very resisant to chemical corrosion. This is why they're used in lab work--not to mention gardening and cooking--so much as opposed to metal, which tends to be venerable to chemical breakdown." He turned to Quint.
"Even if a base doesn't harm the actual cell structure much--'kill it outright'--with gases and water running through it's body instead of blood and whatever, I doubt Fluffy will be able to put up much of a fight. Surprising how handy basic chemistry can be, isn't it..?"

"You never stop to think. Everything has an opposite, and knowing what that is is always a deciding factor in battle." His teachers words filled his head, one of her many half listened to lectures. He mentally shrugged; Live and learn.
He was embarassed, feeling quite ignorant, the same if his teacher would have been right next to him. He rolled his plan back into the folder, his next course of action set. Quint spoke to Gatz, not envious about his knowledge, but intrigued. "So simple, but yet very complicated. You'd be an amazing alchemist! ...Would you mind brainstorming with me sometime?" He smiled genuinely.
It would be easy to fashion a sharp glass piece that contained a fair amount of lye based solvent, the only problem left was getting in close to...Fluffy. He still felt that 'Gluttony' was a good name, but too..dark.
"Now would it be a problem with you helping me Aonice?" He spoke to the small woman, "Your speed would be a great asset.."

"I've got dibs on being the decoy!" he said cheerfully.

Aonice quirked her brow, "I dunno, if seems like if i even so much as touch it i'd disintegrate.. I'm only human ya know" She raised a brow, crossing her arms again.. "I can dodge hits and shots, but large squirts of acid isn't exactly something i've had expierience with"

"Yeah, that would kind of suck. Besides, I was more or less thinking we could hose the thing down, but since most body fluids are internal, the damage that way might me minimal. And it's skin it supposed to be strong, so injecting the stuff directly is probably off the table too," he thought out loud.
"So, to quote the TMNT the Movie II... 'I'm afraid ingestion is the only course.' In short, we have to get it to eat the stuff."
"Though suppose we could try and make it into a suppository--but between the huge monkey a** and the three heads full of teeth on its rear, I'd really rather go with trying to have it swallow the chemicals. Fortunately, Quint says that Fluffy will eat anything and everything..."

Aonice rolled her eyes with Gat'z quoting, "Of course, we could just spray it with Head and Sholdiers" She smirked to herself, "But I don't see exactly what i could do against this thing.. "

"See?" Quint added quickly, "You are more useful than you give yourself credit for. Lye and glass are simple for me to make, and we can give your clone a large jar full of it." He gave Aonice a thumbs-up. "Clone gets eaten, Fluffy gets the worst case of indigestion ever. Everyone wins."
