Now this was new. Jason had not realized that another hunter could summon a weapon other then their own. It was a new experience, however he could sitll hear Zanthvos in his head.
And then....
Oh.....oh.... oh wow. He was not prepared for this. He was so not prepared. With every word he said, he made soft choking noises in the back of his throat. He could not stop the heat in his face from rising until he resembled a tomato.
His weapon being so much larger. And longer. Too large for her.
Oh god brain stop stop
His weapon moaned into his head. And this time he was unable to tell the weapon to shut up.
Nope, he was gone. Jason's head had left the building. There was nothing" he could do or say that could make this situation any worse then it already gotten.
"...I could teach you how to use it?"
Except that.

Her face lit up at the offer. He’d teach her how to use a sword? Granted, Israfel wasn’t but- Her weapon cooed in her head. She liked swords. There wasn’t much harm in learning to use one. Maybe not his, but, one for spars- who knew, it could be useful. “Really? You’d do that?” She gave a little bounce, the fact they were on duty totally forgotten in favor of the idea she could learn how to swords. “I’d love to! I mean, after enough practice size shouldn’t be an issue with a weapon. I’m sure I could handle a weapon like your’s if we trained enough!” She was utterly giddy, not thinking as she moved. Arms came around him as she pressed herself to the moon hunter. In a hug. Sadly with her standing and him sitting, things were just a little odd.

"Of...course..." He was rooted to his seat, mind in meltdown as Solia still did not grasp what she was implying. Although he knew what she really meant, he could not stop his mind flying off into other possibilities.
And then she just had to go and hug him.
He had frozen, not moving a inch as he felt her body so, so close to his own. She seemed so happy, and her embrace was so warm... Jason had never felt so embarrassed in all his life (well apart from the shower incident), but he also felt something else, deep inside him stir...
But even with all these conflicting emotions, he couldn't help but smile, and his arms came around to hold her close, returning the hug, Because it was nice to see her acting natural and not at all shy. Regardless of how he felt, he was not going to give her another excuse to feel upset.
"Yes, all you need is some practice, and you'll be able to use a sword in no time. I'll be glad to help you" And he meant it, too.

Being close to people, being able to hug them even, was something Solia never had quite gotten much of. Human contact was such a fleeting thing for her that she cherish the rare moments when she had it. As short as the hug was, When she pulled back-He sounded sweet. Nice and not at all upset that she had hugged him. And up close? He was smiling at her, not shyly nor all that embarrassed but just… smiling at her. Pink tinted her face. She was being silly again. He was just being nice to her. Nothing meant by it. Pulling away she gave a small nod, weapon returned. “Yeah. Maybe.. we can even go spar sometime. Then I won’t have to run away from you.” Going back to her seat, she stared out at the dark ocean waters. “….It’s really not so bad I think, being down here.”

"A spar would be a great option. You can see how I use Zanth in battle, which will give you a good start when practice with a sword of your own." He would have to find her one though; he'd imagine the sun lounge would have a spare sword, maybe if he asked Ofelia she'd get one for him...
With her attention away from him, Jason looked towards the clear glad which showed a spectacular view of the ocean, although he wasn't sure if he could agree with Solia's sentiments. The low visibility of the water made his imagination go wild with the kinds of horrors he expected to leap out at them at any second.
But he didn't want her to know just how much it freaked him out. "Y-yea..it's kinda of nice..."

She was silent for a while, staring out into the dark black and blue. She loved the ocean. She loved water, the smell of it, the vibrant life it held, the mystery of it all. It was always something comforting to her. That something like the ocean just existed. Always moving, always changing, adapting. Unending. It was so full yet- “-It looks so empty from here.” She smiled. “The ocean I mean. But ah-“ She curled up into her seat, knees pulled to her chin. “It’ll be nice to spar. After you can show me some of the books you like.” That sounded like a good plan. To just… spar then hang out with him. “It would be nice.” She was smiling softly. Spar then books. It would be… Nice.

In the moment of silence, Jason allowed his chaotic emotions to resemble themselves, and once more he began to relax. Even with the darkness of the sea looming, he was enjoying his time here, alone with Solia.
"The ocean may look empty, but it conceals many wonders." Was his response when she spoke of it. As for the books, he appeared thoughtful for a moment. " I can show you my favorite books of course, but you might find them a little boring."
As he watched the ocean, he could still see her little smile out of the corner of his eye.
