"I-I see..." he replied shifing hit eyes. Laying a hand upon the corner of his glasses Jowy began to ponder. This was odd, the game girl from that book, in person!?
"You aren't going to believe me but..you came from a book." he finally stated. "Ok, I was given a book from an old woman. I gave her some bread I bought at the market for it, which I'm still a little annoyed at because it cost me a pretty penny, err...anyway I brought the book home and began to read it...."
Taking her by the hand he took her to the table and began to explain most of the the story to her, about her father and everything, how she was decieved and turned into a demon, and about how she was about to die and finding that the last page was blank. It took at least an hour or so to explain it all.
"...so that's how I know you're name Lyria. I'm not psychic." he said blushing at the very thought. "I'm sorry if you don't believe my story, but that's the honest truth! Oh by the way, my name's Jowy Winters." he finally said.
Jowy still couldn't believe it! Lyria! Right in the flesh! Still this was going to be interesting. Was this what that old woman meant by 'All your dreams will come true, along with Lyrias?' Just was was her dreams? Why am I thinking about this, it's silly! For all I know she's just some drunk girl in a costume who's mistaken my house for her apartment again! I really need to learn to close all of my windows at night... he thought with slight frustration.

Lyria patiently listened to his whole story, though she felt a certain cruel redundancy that he had to recount her entire life story and all the dark moments it held. She didn't show it though, just pulling her knees up to her chest while sat on the chair. "So....a book, huh?" Placing her hands against the edge of the table, she gave herself a little push as she started to balance on the chair's back legs. "Well I'm not sure why I wouldn't believe you seeing as how I come from a place filled with magic and monsters. Maybe some old wizard made the thing to link our worlds, who knows?" she said setting herself back down on all four chair legs before shrugging easily. "I'm alive, I'm here now, that's all that matters!"

"I'm sorry..." he said looking away sadly. "Actually, I'm glad that you're alive. I felt so sorry for you, being decieved like that. I don't think you can return home though. Right now my head is sort of muddled! Half of my mind wants to just find you a mere fantasy, while the other half is glad you're in reality!" he sighed then blushed a deep crimson relizing he was in his pajamas.
"Oh my goodness! Here I have a hot woman sitting across from me and I'm still dressed in my pajamas!" he gasped standing. "Uhh...o-one moment L-Lyria..." he exscused himself before rushing off to his room to change.

Lyria blinked in slight confusion at why this was a big deal before snickering a bit. While Jowy ran off to change, she got up and started to explore the rest of the house, a soft smile on her face that he got so attached to her while she was just words on a page before.

Showing up in some more casual clothing he found her in the living room. "So are you hungry? I was just about to have some breakfast, you could join me if you'd like." he said with a friendly smile.
Oh well, might as well make the most of it right? As he walked up to her Jowy stood next to her. "You alright? I mean you're kind of happy about everything. Shoot if I were transported to another world I would be terrified.." he said running a hand shyly up and down his arm.
She was so beautiful, even for a demon. Yet part of him wondered what she used to look like? She was so cheerfull, yet he did read that she often buried her emotions. Jowy wasn't going to say that though, he would let her be herself. Though he wasn't sure what to do with a demon girl, he figured time would tell.

"Breakfast sounds great, but are you kidding? This place is awesome! There's nothing like this stuff back home!" Lyria said with a grin while playing with the fan that stood in the corner. She'd stumbled across the on switch and now had the flowing air sending her hair flying around behind her while made noises in it like a little kid. "Oo-oo-wee-ee-ee-ee-ee-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo!"

He chuckled. "Lyria there's danger here too. My world doesn't have any demons, well not that I know of. I guess you're the first." he said blushing slightly.
"How do you like being one? From what I've read you were pretty freaked out when you first changed..oh sorry I need to stop doing that." he said grabbing her hand lightly and turning off the fan. "Follow me, I'm sure you know what cupboards are, and the giant white thing you were opening earlier is a frigerator, basically it keeps food cool." he said feeling like he had to explain everything to her now.
He liked holding her hand for some odd reason too, she was so pretty after all. Plus her personality was just adorable, she was so much like a little child. Jowy couldn't help but keep the blush on his face.

Probably the biggest shock to her was the concept of electricity and indoor plumbing. Once the initial tour was over though, some of the magic and wonder had started to wear off. Now she sat at the dining room table waiting for Jowy to make them breakfast while she lay her head on the table and stared out the window. She was done being curious for now and finally realized she wasn't going home any time soon. And there were quite a few pros and cons to that.

He had decided to make pancakes for them both. Watching her every once in a while, Jowy's heart sank a little. She suddenly didn't appear so childishly curous and chipper. He figured that she probably wasn't over the fact of being betrayed and also still getting used to being a demon too.
Jowy wondered what was really going on in that pretty mind of hers. Heck, his heart would be broken if all of this happened to him. The thought of never going home again, not seeing the people you woke up to everyday, not being able to share in the joys all around them.
He sighed quietly, maybe he should have never read that book in the first place. Well then she would have probably died, but sometimes lonliness was a lot more painful than death. Once the pancakes were finished he set the plates upon the table.
"You ok?" he asked with sympathy as he layed a hand upon her shoulde from behind, which was a little hard to to because of her wings. "This must be so hard for you Lyria. You can be honest with me..it's alright." he said to her in a warm and tender voice. He really did feel sorry for her, he also cared about her which was a little odd seeing that they had just met.

Her wings twitched a little from the sudden hand on her shoulder and looked back up at him. "...I'm fine, it's nothing. How's breakfast coming?" she asked, quick to hide her sorrows and change the subject. Jowy would have a long way to go before she really poured her heart out to him, even if he did sort of unintentionally save her life.

"Oh right! Here you go! I hope you like pancakes. I kind of didn't know what to make for you." he replied sliding the plate of pancakes in front of her. Along with some bacon, and a glass of milk to top it off he had the same for himself as he sat across from her.
Jowy kind of didn't know what to say, so instead he began to eat. He figured if she wanted to talk she would start talking.

"...Sooooo...." After some awkward silence spent scarfing down some of the meal, Lyria finally decided to make conversation since Jowy didn't feel like talking it seemed. "...would it be any trouble if I maybe stayed here with you...?" she asked sheepishly. "Seeing as how I'm kinda new to this world and have nowhere else to go and all that...."

"Oh right! You took the words out of my mouth! Heh, well out of my mind." he beamed happily. "I have a guest room that I never use, so you can use that room. I'll show it to you after breakfast." he said with a happy nod.

"Great! Thank you sooooo much!" Lyria smiled happily, her spaded tail lifting up to sway happily behind her head. "Oh, I don't want to be a complete freeloader of course, so if there's anything I can do for you in return, please let me know!"

He chuckled, "Oh it's alright. Probably just minor things like helping around the house. Also, have you discovered any powers yet? LIke maybe one that would give you a human form? Not that I don't hate demons or anything, but..you don't see them walking around in plain sight." he said with a little sweatdrop.
