Brian groaned as he got back to his feet after getting b***h slapped a second time by the sea. It wasn't very pleasant. He took a deep breath as he centered himself in order to regain some energy he had expended in his mad rush to climb the whale. Then he got smacked in the face by another burst of water slamming his head into the wall again. He growled in frustration as he dried off his hat and placed it back on his head.

As nobody seemed to be in any great hurry to pull the inquisitor from his perch behind the harpoon gun he had commandeered, for whatever reason, Eldridge quite insisted on reloading it and firing again upon the elemental, impaling it with another blow!
Its mighty thrashing shook the decks, forcing Eldridge to stumble back! He leaned forward to regain his balance, but overcompensated and struck the harpoon gun, landing a wretched bruise on his chest! "Nnnurgh," he grimaced spitefully.

"FIRE!!!" the Admiral commanded. The seamen did as their commander ordered, firing at the whale. However, their aim wasn't true and all of their cannon fired missed, leaving the Admiral to curse in frustration. HP: 502 SP: 200 StP: 525 -----Special Ability----- Cannon Fire: At the cost of 400 SP, the Avatar of Water receives 200 points of damage (Can only be used once every three posts). If an odd number is rolled, cannon fire does absolutely nothing to the Avatar of Water.

Brian gritted his teeth as he was beat about by another series of waves. He probably could have deflected most of the stuff if he had tried but right now he was just trying to prepare himself for a second go at ascending the whale.

Eldridge left his bruise to fester, written off as a minor injury as he grasped the harpoon launcher and hoisted himself back to his feet. Loading another harpoon to the device, he took careful aim with the thing, and fired, another of the harpoons stuck in the massive whale's thick hide. At that same moment, Eldridge could not help but notice a pile of black armor collapse to the deck...

"Damned abomination!" Eldridge shouted against the beast's powerful thrashing. He was going to have to repair his ship, and soon, but the inquisitor was quickly finding himself tired. He could not afford a rest, now, though. The mighty creature's offense left him no respite! Eldridge loaded the last nearby harpoon into his launcher and fired it to the creature! None left, Eldridge would have to go under the deck to retrieve more or find a new strategy.
Then came the wave. Crunching wood, bending mast, and torn flesh! The massive disruption of tide very clearly took its toll on the ship, and Eldridge found himself substantially less able-bodied after the incident.

The waves continued to buffet both Brian and the boat he stood upon but the young elementalist stood strong despite the numerous bruises that were now littering his body.
