It almost seems politically incorrect, or at least not 100% right, nowadays to have an event like a "father/daughter" or "mother/son" event. There are many families that are very diverse and those combinations cannot always be created to attend these events.

I agree with you, Blossom, but the south has never been known for being PC.

I don't know much about the South, Fresnel, since I've never lived there.
But your new look is awesome!

Er. Nail polish is not made to be taken internally. And is, in fact, in sufficent quantities highly toxic. Please don't eat it. Or you will die. Kthxbai!

They might as well. Little girls eat it off their fingernails all the time.
We ended up making herbal rosemary shampoo. We had a rosemary plant growing outside, so we took about half a cup of that and boiled it in a small amount of water for 15 minutes or so. Then we drained off the liquid and ran it through a coffee filter and kept that. We added it to a bottle of clear, unscented shampoo, along with a drop or two of lemon extract and stirred it all up. It looked kind of nasty, so we added a tiny amount of food coloring to brighten it up, and voila!

Awesome! That sounds like a great product!
And yeah, even though I'm not a little girl (so much) anymore, I still bite off my fingernails. Does anyone know of any ways I might be able to stop doing that?

They do make an evil-tasting product you can paint onto your nails to keep you from biting them.

FastFresnel They do make an evil-tasting product you can paint onto your nails to keep you from biting them. Oh heck, I've tried that already. It never tastes good to me, but I always end up peeling it off or just eating through it. I guess I'm just a rebel like that.
