Will you be there... Tsuyomaru let out a small sigh as he stepped forward to the starting area and began speaking. "You know as much as I do that the people watching wont allow us to draw, they've been waiting to watch the stigma that is our friendship come to a head. No, I cannot give you the same offer, however, we should still conserve our energy for when the real fights begin. Instead we shall have a simple spar, only hand to hand combat, or in this case, my taijutsu to your kenjutsu."

Kojin gave a soft smile, and jabbed the lethal tip of his naginata into the ground, "I will leave to not show what i'm capable of with that until the final bout. My dear cousin, I know Taijutsu as well and it will be sufficient should you wish to spar." he gave. while taking up a defensive posture as he gave a nod, "I haven't shown you all of my tricks, and i know you haven't shown me all of yours. We've both waited for this so long, to be this far, care to show me how ready you are?" he asked with a nice, wide grin as he stood still, focusing his chakra as the smile remained as a sign of the older Uzamaki's thrill to test his cousin.

Will you be there... "That's fine by me, come at me cous-" Tsuyomaru exclaimed loudly as he quickly removed his long scarf from his neck, replacing it with his mask. While his scarf slowly descended downward from above the young man he quickly wrapped the ends within his fists, making a large loop with his arms and scarf with the scarf end dragging on the ground.
While his stance was very unusual the taijutsu Tsuyomaru employed was a fairly useful one, it was taught to him by his surrogate father in Masoto, who had developed as an early use of his scarf before he would use it as a sealing medium. Not to mention, it was good at tiring the opponent more than it was useful for harming the opponent, though it wasn't without its takedowns. this was going to be an interesting fight.

Kojin gave a soft chuckle, he knew this one, that thing was really useful... though, he might hold back a bit, he thought, his cousin's scarf was priceless to him, but the point of the scarf in kojin's thoughts would be to divert the energy and force of a physical attack rather than to outright block. "Be careful, I don't want to break that accidentally, if you remember the style i'm using." he warned, not one to charge first, but he would humor his cousin as his legs tensed as his frame shifted backwards. while he kneaded his chakra into the primary points of contact he suspected would impact should he land a blow on his cousin. The 'unarmed' Medi-nin taijutsu was just about as lethal as his Naginata, if not more. He would reduce the power of the chakra impacts, afterall, improper use of any Taijutsu can kill a person, even the user.
The shifting ceased before he sprung forward, dashing halfway the distance between himself and Tsuyomaru, a jump and a step as he reaches the mid-point to do a forward hand spring on the last couple of meters with full momentum toward his cousin, with his legs stretched out with heels poised to strike Tsuyomaru in the chest should he fail to counter appropriately. His arms outstretched and palms open, he flew like a wave towards his cousin...

Tsuyomaru kept his eyes locked on his cousin, following his movements precisely with his arms, preparing himself for whatever angle Kojin decided to come from and whatever attack he would attempt. Once Kojin was in the air and appeared to be making his move of a sort of drop kick Tsuyomaru shoved off the ground with his right leg, sending him into a prolonged sideways somersault.
Once in the air Tsuyomaru outstretched his arms pulling the ends of his scarf tight to seemingly meet Kojin's legs. However, once Kojin was close enough he would begin to notice that the scarf as situated in such a way that Tsuyomaru would attempt to place it between Kojin's legs, while Tsuyomaru himself was out of harms way. If Tsuyomaru managed to place the scarf in his desired area he would begin wrapping his arms, causing the scarf to wrap around Kojin's right leg.

Kojin was expecting something like this, predicting the nature of the use the scarf would see wasn't the hardest thing, he changed the attack's position quickly, from extended legs, to knee-points. In his mind it would make what Tsuyomaru was attempting to do far less effective. it did reduce his aerodynamics however. It did good on slowing him down a little, but he's still flying through the air towards the spot where Tsuyomaru was beforehand.
His muscles were tense, he didn't know exactly what his cousin was planning, but the rest of him was poised to strike like a scorpion stinging a man trying to catch it with his bare hands. To that nature, he changed the position of his arms slightly as he was preparing more to slide along the ground on his knees than to actually hit Tsuyomaru now, possibly even to grab ahold of his scarf as well.

Tsuyomaru did everything in his power to keep himself calm, if he was going to be anywhere near effective against his cousin he would have to focus everything he had on the sparring match and leave nothing else for his jokes and eccentric nature. As Kojin made his movements Tsuyomaru moved accordingly until he saw the maneuver that Kojin was attempting. Weighing the consequences in his mind he released a small bit of slack which would give Kojin the ability to grab the scarf while it appeared that Tsuyomaru was attempting to pull it back to him.
If all went well Tsuyomaru would be able to capitalize on Kojin's advantageous position, if his cousin didn't go for it however, the young man would be in a good position himself to try and use the scarf in a different maneuver.

Kojin wasn't stopping, momentum and all as he wasn't going to hit Tsuyomaru at this point, but he did want to grab the scarf. Which he tried while almost landing on the ground, with one hand reaching out to grab at the 'offered' scarf at full speed still. Causing him to skid along the ground as he grunted from pain, he wasn't wearing and shin or knee protection so it still hurt. That was one of a few consequences, If Tsuyomaru wasn't prepared for his cousin to fly-by and attempt to take his scarf he just might lose it to the elder Uzumaki.
With the scarf secure, Kojin attempted to use his low position, if Tsuyomaru was close enough, or even still holding onto the scarf after that to sweep his leg around in an attempt to trip his cousin, if Tsuyomaru let go from the force, or wasn't close enough, he just stood back up with a smile.

The moment Kojin's hand wrapped around the scarf Tsuyomaru immediately moved into the next portion of his plan, he kicked off the ground, both legs oriented in opposite ways to force Tsuyomaru into a sort of tail spin. Along with the spinning of his body Tsuyomaru whirled his arms around in an attempt to embalm his cousin's hand within the middle of the scarf.
While he spun he saw Kojin's quick move as an attempt to sweep him off his feet, clever attempt, but with Tsuyomaru being off the ground already it didn't have much effect, though, it was also unknown how Tsuyomaru's attempt would fair against his cousin...

Kojin could only grin, he held his arm tight as the scarf wrapped around his hand some with his own grip still tight on it as he recovered from his landing in the few moments his cousin had been taking to avoid what he himself was doing. The elder Uzumaki seemed to appear as if this is just what he wanted. He may be down one hand, but that doesn't seem to be a concern for him as he gripped tight on the binding since he already had hold of the scarf. Being off the ground wasn't looking so good as he yanked back towards himself with as much strength as he could muster in an attempt to get the aerial nin closer as he looked like he was winding up to strike like that, He didn't make any distinct movements as to if it would be a kick, or a punch coming for Tsuyomaru.
It was a gambit on Kojin's part to begin with, it seemed, and this one was another one, as Tsuyomaru would be in striking range, however it'd be a matter of who hit harder, if both were guaranteed a hit. At this point, Tsuyomaru only had a few moments to decide what he was going to do about this.

Will you be there... Tsuyomaru's aerial assault was fairly lack luster, then again, he was by no means attempting to strike his cousin on any level. So when Kojin pulled him in closer he had little choice as to how he was going to react, his airborne body meant he couldn't use the traction in his feet to hold him down. In the heat of the moment Tsuyomaru decided to continue headlong into his original plan.
As his body would come to collide with whatever body part he would attempt to wrap it up as well and take the hit from his cousin the best he could.

Kojin pulled hard, banking his cousin down and to the left as he raised his leg into the air for a strike to throttle his fellow Uzumaki into the ground. He figured Tsuyomaru would try again, he would stamp the heel of his foot down into his cousin's back if Tsuyomaru didn't react fast enough to it. Given the style he was using, it would certainly leave a bruise; but with reduced power as to not be anywhere near lethal as it would be normally.
The elder Nin was assured in himself as he brought his cousin in for the first blow, if Tsuyomaru didn't do something; he'd be face down in the dirt for trying to use his scarf in a fancy trick.
