The demons were proving to be an annoyance. The necromantrix Rhea Byrne found it difficult to study with them around (mostly due to her conscience nagging her to help get rid of them.) and because of this, they had to go. With a sharp whistle, she ordered Omega to attack them.

Discord snarled like a bloodthirsty beast as he saw the sudden arrivals. Some were familiar and some were not. What caught his attention the most was Rhea. The girl whom he considered his unofficial daughter had now joined the fray. Doing his best to suppress the wicked, demonic impulses of his shell, Discord instead turned his attention to Brian. Thrusting his fists, Discord conjured a giant chattering skull made of green, foul energy to assault him.

A monstrous hole opened from the ground with a loud boom, rock shards flying everywhere as Langer Vile crawled out of the newly created hole, quickly grabbing nearby stones, plants, even bones unearthed by his demolition, before alchemizing them into muscularly unstable explosives and then chucking them at the howling demons, the newly formed incendiary canisters exploding on contact to create miniature firestorms.

Brian had been about to attack the demons again when a chattering green skull tore into his side. He fell to the ground sliding some distance and got back up with a grimace. The coat he wore had absorbed a fair bit of the damage but it was showing it. Holes had been torn into the right side of the armored apparel.
Brian summoned up some of his anger at been attacked and launched a fireball back at Discord. The demonic lich simply blocked it with a wall of skulls.

"This isn't good...."
Xiomara swung in, seemingly out of nowhere, and fired her gun at the demons. It didn't do much good, and she ended getting hit by some of the debris as the demons hit the gate.

 At the cost of their progress, the demons diverted their attention to their assailants. Furious from having their progress impeded, the demons unleashed a waved of infernal flames that consumed everything in its wake. HP: 789 SP: 300 __________________________________ (ability) Hellfire: Deals 300 damage to everyone ((No worries, BE. Your attack went through. Deleted my earlier post caused I wanted to roll. Evidently I can't roll a 0 dice. =/ ))

Rhea growled in annoyance. The necromancer hadn't expected the demons to retaliate in such a manner. Picking at a scorched sleeve in disgust, she whistled again, ordering Omega to attack once more.

((Well... That was a waste. ;-; ))
Brian grabbed ahold of his hat which had been knocked off by Discord's attack when the hellfire struck him. He was sent flying backwards from the sheer force of the hellish flames. He landed hard on his back with his clothes smoking from the fires. He was actually burned. It was something he hadn't felt since he was but a young lad.
Coughing up some blood the young elementalist got back to his feet and adjusted his still pristine hat. Fighting through the pain he summoned up his strength and unleashed a stream of lightning at the demons.
HP: 454-300=154
SP: 500-150=350

"Damned fools!" Discord snarled as even he was engulfed by the hellfire.
He was here on orders to assist the Great Beast's remnants, and they attack him. Trying to guide chaotic creatures was sheer folly, he thought. Shrugging, Discord retrieved a vial of green-colored fluid and downed it. With a satisfied "ah," Discord regained his strength. Out of spite, he attacked the demons.
