Cody looked at her but then watched as she allowed the pokeball to catch her but he smiled as he picked it up and had her come out but he smiled as he gently pet behind her ear, "So whats your name?" he asked curious to if she had a name.

"Name?" She said cutely and tilted her head. She was still learning to talk. But then she realized she didn't have a name. Everyone just called her a pest. She was not meaning any harm she just wanted to play but no one every played with her before.

Cody looked at her when she said that but he gently picked her up and smiled holding her in his lap, "How about Zera... would you like that?" He asked kindly to her, thinking that it was a very good name.

Zera nodded happily and smiled up at Cody. Then her stomach growled. "Hungwy." She said and looked at Cody hoping he would feed her. One thing about her was she was always hungry.

Cody looked at her when she said that but he gently rummaged through his pack but then getting a couple of bowls out, he soon set out a bowl for Zera, Evan and his Lillipup, all of them had food of their type that would be delicious and filling to them.

Zera tried her food. She had never eatten pokemon food before just wild berries and other stuff. THen she started to chow down once she realized she liked it and wagged her tail cutely as she ate her food.

Cody smiled watching her eat the food but when he thought about how he couldn't start a fire to cook his own food, he got out a protein bar where he soon finished it, thunder boomed across the sky as the rain poured down on the tent.

Zera jumped everytime the thunder sounded and she shook as she was in Cody's lap. She then whimpered as she shook and then BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!! A large lightning bolt struck down a tree near them and Zera shook in Cody's arms as she cried.

Cody saw that Zera was getting scared as she shook in his arms but he gently held her in his arm as he thought about how he was being protective of her. He soon began to gently pet her, "Don't worry Zera... I got you... I promise to protect you no matter what." He said softly to her.

Zera looking at Cody and snuggled up to him scared and shaking like a leaf. "Daddy." She said as she snuggled close to him.

Cody felt her snuggle up to him but heard what she said in his head but he blushed a bit but he gently held her, "Its going to be okay... I promise." He said softly to her, his voice gently and loving.

Zera eventually fell asleep in Cody's arms after the storm ended and was sdled into his chest. She was so sweet once you got to know her. Then she moved and started to whimper dreaming about the day her mother, a Zoroark, was killed. It was a nightmare "Mommy." She said in her sleep and buried her face in Cody's chest.

Cody looked down at Zera as she slept, he soon noticed that she was having a nightmare but soon as he looked around the tent, she seemed to actually project her nightmare, he could watch as her mother was being hurt and hunted but he could see that she had been small and hurt but Cody noticed something, he could tell of who took her mother, she wasn't being killed, she was being captured by some scientists that he had heard about before who were doing 'legal' things.

Zera then jumped awake and cried and whimpered as she jumped into Cody's arms again and buried her face not wanting to lose another person one she loved again.

Cody looked down at Zera but he thought about it, "Zera... was... was that your mother?" He asked curiously to her, wondering if it was. Cody soon began to think about it, he wondered if maybe he could try to find her mother for her. (Should he?)
