Maximilien blushed when she gave him a light kiss on the cheek before pulling him down further to the water and patted a place next to her on a rather large rock. Smiling and happily accepting he swam over to her and floated in place a bit before letting out a breath and sinking onto the rock in which he took another and looked at his leader. "Thank you for your compliment Pisces. I could never feel any happier." he said with his heart warming smile.

Pisces Aquata ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ Pisces giggled at his words, thinking his politeness at this point was quite cute. "It's nothing, you're just really nice." The mermaid said sweetly as whistled softly. It seemed to echo throughout the ocean, and soon enough, the clear water was now swimming with gorgeous fish of all colors. She waved at them cutely, giggling. "It was so dull, so i decided i might call some fish over!" Pisces exclaimed with a wink, as a small baby clown fish swam over. Pisces burst into a fit of sweet adorable giggles. "It's Nemo!" ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ

Maximilien looked around at the fish and nodded with a small smile. He then looked at his giggling Leader before the baby clown fish and nodding with a few chuckles. He then looked at a few other fish with a smile. He had to admit that it was nice relaxing with Pisces. With that he looked back at Aquata, glancing over her whole body once again. For some reason he was fascinated with his Leader being a mermaid.

Pisces Aquata ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ Pisces couldn't help but keep giggling, clutching the fish softly. Her eyes seemed to glow as she turned to Max, a very cute smile on her face. "Wanna hear something interesting about clown fish?" Pisces asked sweetly. She was a very cute girl, but when it came to fish, she could get a little creepy, since she was a marine biologist. ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ ღ

Maximilien shrugged and said "Sure why not." with that he turned towards her and gave Pisces his full attention. He then began to think about what she could possibly say about a cute little fish so he decided to hear it. With a small smile he waited and listened, noticing how cute Pisces was when she smiled.

"You see, for most mammals, the sex of a baby is determined genetically with the XY chromosome system. Mammals have a pair of sex chromosomes, one passed down from mom, and one from dad. A pair of X's gives us a girl, and an X and a Y together gives us a boy. Since females only have X's to pass on in their egg cells, and males can give either an X, or a Y from their sperm cells, the sex is determined by the father and the chance of producing a male is 50/50." Pisces paused for a bit, as a professional aura seemed to beam off of her. "This system has worked really well for mammals, but throughout the tree of life, we can see other systems that have worked just as well for other animals. Like, Clown fish for example! Most species, the sex is determined by genetics, but for others, it's determined by something else, like say, temperature. But for clown fish, it isn't determined until later in life! Clown fish, like this little one, all start out their lives as males. However, as they mature, they become females. They also spend their lives in small groups with a strict dominance hierarchy, where only the most dominant male and female reproduce. And amazingly, if the dominant female in the group dies, the largest and most dominant male will become female, and all the other males will move up one rank spot in the hierarchy. Maximilien blinked and nodded at what she said before moving onto the life of the standard clown fish. He had a confused face at first before asking "Ok so as they grow up they could possibly stay males and...procreate with other females that were once males?" he had to admit that this knowledge had escaped him sometime a while back but he didn't really care as Biology wasn't the best subject he excelled at. Mostly anything to do with literature and in some cases mathematics but that was about all in academic standards.

I know a bunch more, but i would say the weirdest is mermaids and mermen, because we are part human, but don't have reproductive organs, like humans do." Maximilien nodded and asked "Wait...then how do you produce more...merpeople? merbabies? How do you create other mermen and or mermaids?" he had to admit that he didn't know the literary term multiple mermen and women let alone there offspring. Pisces was the only mermaid he actually knew at the moment and somehow wished to keep it that way.

The only problem is that many of them are turned into what humans call, 'Caviar'. It's sad to say the least, but a lot of us mate on land, the way humans do, by having sex." Max couldn't help but blush at how she said they basically had sex like humans. Looking away with a blush he said "Sorry to hear about the caviar part..." with that he decided to avoid eye contact for fear of seeming impudent to her. Deciding to change to topic he asked "Would you like to go get something to eat?" Maximilien wasn't exactly starving but he was a bit hungry and he knew he couldn't stay in the water for extended periods of time like Pisces could. A little fact he didn't like but accepted as different.

She said as she got off the rock, grabbing his hand and starting to swim towards the shore. " Sure. So where do you wanna go to eat?" Max swam with Pisces to the shore with a light blush. "Let's eat wherever you're heart desires milady." he told her and added "So wherever you go I shall follow." Once they neared the shore he stopped and floated a bit beore setting his feet on the sand and walking onto shore, popping the bubble around his mouth as he began to break the surface.

She put her clothing back on quickly, waiting for him. "Well, i am new here, so i don't really know my way around too much." Maximilien blinked a bit before giving it some thought and saying "Well the in that case I'll cook for you." with that he walked over to his clothes and shook them a bit to get off any sand before sliding into the shirt and grabbing the weights, thinking about it for a few seconds before shrugging and putting the weights back on. He then grabbed the big sword and placed it on his back before looking towards Pisces and saying "I'm the best cook in all of the Aqua Branch." with that he walked over and grabbed Pisces hand before walking rather quickly off the training grounds and towards the kitchen that they had.
