((Enter)) As Ria'ko soon came into view of her home; the forest, a small smile was planted to her soft lips. Sadly, that smile faded as scent of intruders came to be. She knew the other side belonged to the alliance force of the Elf Queen, but these trespassers where on her turf... Were they here to slay more of her kind because of the false tales they hear? It's true that her kind and others never mix well or ever see eye to eye, but Ria'ko was willing to make that difference change.

Even if it meant by force. Or would it work another way? The woman shook her head, and began to enter the forest. She placed a gentle hand to the broken twigs on bushes to scrapped bark on a tress trunk. Someone was definitely here...Ria'ko could not only see the evidence but also smell them. It was more than one person.. While entering further into her beloved forest, she soon stumbled upon the tracks of such intruders. "Fresh....They cant be to far off....one was sleeping here not to long ago..." Ria'ko spoke softly to herself.

However, in a different distance, she could smell that of a male centaur, yet he seems to either be inactive or preoccupied at the moment, in which case, she would not bother him. Instead, she continued to follow the tracks until she would stumble upon something or someone. ((Exit))

Arriving hours after leaving that treacherous city Feros could finally feel that he was safe and alone. As much as he'd wish he would have someone as company right now but the fact he was caught in such chaos was nerve racking. He looked around the forest he was in he could see nothing but wildlife. Peaceful enough for him to rest perhaps? Slowly walking around for a bit he could see what looked like a comfortable tree to sit down against. Going over he slouched down to his bottom and sighing with relief he leaned his back and head against the stump of the tree. Closing his eyes now he slowly fell into a sleep.

Feros felt now in his sleep that he had rested enough. It had been hours later and getting up and leaving now could be best for him. He stirred in his sleep before opening his eyes and letting out a small yawn. Then getting up he stretched out his arms and cracked a few of his bones in the process. It felt good to him even if he shouldn't be doing it too often. He sighed before scanning his eyes for his direction of where he could go. Rubbing the back of his neck he headed in a direction that felt right to him. He certainly wasn't going to head back to the city he previously was in due to nearly getting killed. He did hope it was over though considering the lives that may of been lost for no reason. He blinked a few times before continuing to proceed away from his spot he rested on.

Don't fret my dear one....

Yasu had been living off of the animals in this forest for a couple of weeks now. He felt peaceful here, being so close to an environment similar to his home. Although he missed his family he knew that he never quite fit in due to his race and even the townspeople shamed him for it. Though nothing bothered this man much for he was quite adventurous and enjoyed living by his lonesome in the country. He had a good amount of money to start himself up in a town but he knew that he couldn't find a proper place without constant discrimination.

Yasu twirled his clawed finger in the stream as he carefully watched the intricate swirls within the water. He blinked noticeably and stabbed his index finger into the stream. The blood arose around his hand and he then quickly pulled it out of the water to find a fish stuck onto his claw. His pupils widened with delight as he waltzed over to the campfire he had made using his dengen. Sticking the fish on a wooden rod, he set the fish over the fire to cook. His eyes examined the fire, watching the separate layers dance around the fish as if it were performing a ritual.

As he lifted the fish up to eat, Yasu heard a bush shake and a twig snap. His fox ears twitched as he scanned the area for any oncoming strangers. A deer suddenly sprang out of the bush and ran past his campfire, startling the poor fox to death. Yasu's tails had puffed up and he then fell backwards in surprise. He sat up, rubbing the back of his neck. "Stupid petty creatures...." he said with utmost disgust. He didn't really mean it but the poor man hated when he was caught of guard, he had the strangest reactions.

He looked at the fish in his right hand to make sure it was intact, but was soon disappointed when he found that it was covered in sand. He sighed in frustration and kicked the fish. Yasu then realized he could of simply went over to the stream and wash the fish off. He blankly stared at the ground in anger. "God why do I have to make my own food!" Yasu formed a flat, smooth seat out of the earth and crossed his legs. His blue eyes then closed as he entered into his meditation state, finding peace within himself.

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway

"Pray, don't come closer...

The taste of running water was refreshing to its drinker, as she kneeled in the earthy mud that lay upon the riverbed. Her slender, chafed hands took scoops of the clean liquid, bringing them hastily to her parched smiling lips. It had been a whole day since she was able to find a stream of any sort, but to think her luck was so great that she found a river! It was deep enough for her to swim in it's waters if she so pleased, but the woman knew it was not a necessity. Perhaps soon, she would treat herself to a cool dip... At sunset would be best, she thought.

But until the day ended, Minerva had decided she would follow the river's winding appendages, and familiarize herself with this new forest. It was quite fun, actually, to be on her own and free to do as she pleased. Nonetheless in an environment where she needn't worry about trading gold for a place to sleep nor a meal to eat. The forest was a place to be herself, and a place she once grew up in... So, she followed that river, walking along until she saw him.

Well, of course, at first she thought she was hallucinating. Right near the riverside was a man with fox ears and not one but three bushy tails! He sat upon a stool made of earth, one that couldn't have been naturally made... Minerva was dumbfounded, never having heard of a creature like him. And of course, still having the same curious heart as before, the woman decided she would study him. Up a nearby tree she climbed, lithe and nearly silent in her movements, watching with awe from above as the fox-man meditated.

... My mangled flesh is beyond your appetite."

Don't fret my dear one....

In his meditation state, Yasu felt at peace. He had always been sort of a hot head ever since he was a child, and his mother knew just the right ways to calm him down. She would sing lullabies of a woman who found a beautiful baby fox under a tree and how that fox grew into the most loving child the woman had ever laid eyes on. However that same child was driven out of the city due to the people's jealousy and was sent to go on a journey to find his true self. His true personality. Yasu had a plethora of adventures by taking some of the bounties in other cities but never really found anything that made him feel at rest. Sure he enjoyed living in the woods but his clumsiness and ill-temper always sent him into frustration. Only his meditations settled him down and helped him think of home.

Yasu's ear twitched and his tails flicked as he opened his cat-like eyes. He felt a presence watching him, and could hear a soft breath trickle his ears. The soft puffs of a breath, the rustling of a tree. Only when he focused was he so aware of his surroundings. A soft breeze brushed his face as he caught a whiff of something unfamiliar to the him. He never really met a stranger with this smell, not as strange as this. "Who's there?" he asked while looking around in his seat. He focused on a tree that faced directly behind him, a tall piney like one. It contained enough foliage to hide a single being. Yasu's icy blue eyes squinted a bit more as he saw a pair of bright blue eyes. He stared at them for a good minute, wondering who could possibly want to even go near him. He smiled and created a rock bed from the ground and laid down.

Yasu then created a cloud of dust using his dengen and formed into the earth. He sprung out of the earth near the tree where the stranger had been hiding and hopped up into the tree. He found a woman, a small one that is, and gently licked her cheek. "Hmmm definitely not a human...perhaps one of those orcs I've seen before? Smells too nice to be an orc though..."

Re-entering the area once more, she was a bit saddened, but more so, irritated that no king nor queen is noble enough to listen or heed her words. People were invading her territory without reason. Be it they are lost or other reasons. Regardless of the fact, she had still gained no help in the matter, life in her forest was dieing, being broken by the pollution of others, and the disrespect they bring.

Further inside, she noticed new sense, and new tracks, once again others roamed her forest. Though it is not hers to claim...It is no ones to claim but the gods themselves, the very creators of life itself.....Ria'ko let out a soft sigh before continuing on. She new whom ever she ran into will have A LOT of explaining to do. But she is one of decency, so perhaps she wont go to hard on them.

The scent faint yet the tracks strong, Ria'ko continued on in pursue of who ever owned these tracks, it was surely to be soon that she will run into someone....or something....

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway

"Pray, don't come closer...

Minerva studied her target with utmost curiosity, noting the pattern of his steady breathing, the gentle sway of his fox tails, the way his ears would twitch just as hers might in response to curious sounds... She was absolutely mesmerized, almost wishing she could approach the creature. Yet, with bad luck, the elf had made too much noise on her way up the tree, and within a few moments he was asking up into the trees who he shared company with. The woman felt her heart stop, her body go rigid as the man made eye contact with her, his intense gaze seeming to hold hers for an eternity before he finally smiled...

But he did something curious after this. The foxman created a bed of sorts in the earth, laying down. After this there was a cloud of dust, so Minerva was unsure what was happening--until she felt a hot tongue against her cheek. The elf felt her throat constrict, as she turned her head slightly to look at the man who was somehow now standing next to her in the tree. He was much bigger and threatening up close, but his attitude was almost childish, especially in the way he spoke his thoughts aloud. Without thinking, Minerva's lips formed an answer for him; "I-I'm an elf." Her voice was inherently frightened, almost shaking, but her posture stayed rigid and she tried her best to look indifferent. So focused on this stranger beside her, she didn't notice the clopping of hooves against the underbrush...

... My mangled flesh is beyond your appetite."

Chatter could be heard, rather, it was close, yet distant? The female Centaur looked around, readying her bow, just in case of an ambush, how likely with reached humans. Yet the sweat scent of an elf was in presence and a foul smell of that of an animal, yet not quite entirely as one...The honey sweet sounds of the elf assured the female that she was exactly as such. And the husky tones of the animal male, was that of one she had not encountered before. But, where could they be coming from? Who are they and why are they in her territory?

Hearing rustling from a tree above, Ria'ko pulled the arrow back and aimed at the sight of the two creatures. Rather addressing to them, both, her curiosity was that to the elf maiden. "You, elf. Which Kingdom do you hail from? Are you with the land of Brutish elves? Or are you a stranger to these parts?" Ria'ko asked in a rather demanding voice. Nothing to threatening, but more or less stating her grounds in all means. Think of it like a tone where you find a stranger in your home and you ask who he was or why they were in your house.

In any case, she also gets another scent, that of a dark elf....Now why would such a dark creature be in here two....What are they planning, and what do they want? Perhaps it's all a misunderstanding, but until they clear things up for her, she remains with her arrows pulled back and directly aimed at them if they decide to move or pull anything, once she lets go..her arrows will do the rest... "And you." She announced towards the fox man, now taking him into account. "You reek of an animal yet hold a presence of a human. What are you? A demon from the under dark?...." She added then quickly asked; "And why are you here? What is your business in these lands?" The actually question poped up...Hopefully they can answer honestly...

Don't fret my dear one....

Yasu couldn't help but stare into her mesmerizing eyes. He felt a tightness in his stomach the longer he stared at her, trapped in her icy gaze. However the response the elf had made to his licking gave him an uncomfortable feeling. Yasu noticed her throat become tightened, and fear fill her blue eyes. Her voice gave off a sense of uneasiness as he heard it shake and stutter. Yasu's ears pinned back as if he did something wrong and his tails flattened. He remembered the time when his mother acted the same way towards him when Yasu was a child. One day he had asked Mayoko if he could go out into the city with her. Knowing how childish he was and the risks of his exposure, she refused. Out of Yasu's childlike frustration, Yasu had kicked and screamed at his mother and when doing so, he released some of his fire dengen. Moyoko screamed and saw the fear in her eyes as she fell to the ground, holding her side. At this time luckily his father wasn't home, otherwise he would have been punished more severely. After her wounds had healed, Moyoko took Yasu to the witch doctor to receive the necklace to control his abilities. As consequence to the incident, Moyoko worked him to death by making him learn to use his manners and how to greet people in a manner. Eventually he was allowed to explore the city with his mother.

Yasu backed away, giving the elf an elegant bow. "I apologize for my feral behavior. These woods tend to take an effect on me," he said as he gently took her hand and gave it a light kiss. "My name is Takano Yasuhiko, but you can call me 'Yasu' if you wish. And who do I owe the presence of this fine woman?" He said as he smiled. Unfortunately, their introduction had been interrupted by some odd creature with the body of a woman but was to attached to a horse. First she had aimed a bow at the two, causing Yasu to become cautious of her. Three more tails had sprung out as he whipped them around, carefully watching the centaur. Usually his eyes would become a red color when threatened, but he didn't want to frighten the elf he had just met.

What had bothered him more is that the centaur had questioned the elf's presence rather then the demon that had entered the forest. Elves were more precious to this land then a demon was. And who decided her to be the owner of this forest? Furthermore, she continued to bother Yasu with the fact that he reeked of an animal. How insulting. If anything Yasu considered himself higher than a demon, and he at least had morals and wasn't as ignorant as normal demons. He turned his back to the centaur, blocking her sight from what he was giving to the elf. He removed the necklace that was kept buried beneath his clothing. Yasu then placed the necklace around her cold neck, giving her a reassuring smile. He leaned over and whispered softly in her ear, " If anything goes crazy I intrust you to use this necklace to control me. We would want any forest fires. For now, I advise you to play along. This woman could be dangerous." He showed her his wrists as golden shackles appeared around them. Only she could see this bond and Yasu back flipped from the tree and landed in front of the centaur.

Crossing his arms, Yasu decided to reply to her demands. "What is your concern? You obviously do not own these lands. Last time I checked the gods truly rule over the lands although we have rulers and kingdoms. Perhaps you are right that I am a demon, however I consider myself greater than that," he scoffed with pacing around the centaur. "A kitsune I believe is what I am called though. And nor was I from the dark, my mother found me under a tree on a cool summers day. I do not even have the ignorance of a normal demon." He pointed up to the tree that contained the elf, "You see that woman in that tree? She is my wife who is impregnated with my child. We came to these woods to have a natural and peaceful birth. Now do tell me, what is your 'business' within these woods?" Hopefully the elf would play along...if the centaur caught his lies who knows what she would do..

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway

"Pray, don't come closer...

Moments after she had stuttered a response, Minerva was surprised to see the man's reaction, his ears going flat and his once lively tails drooping behind him as he studied her fear. He did not mean to frighten her, it seemed, and felt guilty for it. What he did next was just as unexpected-- the man had manners quite like that of a human. In fact, his sweet manner of introduction was something she had only seen on her trips into mankind's settlements. It was actually charming, but the elf knew better than to trust him so easily...

Alas, it would be rude not to give her own name. So, she opened her mouth to make her own introduction. "My name is--" Before she was able to complete her thought, she would be cut off by a centaur woman who was strangely curious about the duo's whereabouts. Yasu responded rather defensively to the other woman's presence, seeming to magically sprout an extra three tails. This sparked another curiosity within Minerva; what was he? The centaur suggested that he was a demon of some sort, come from that strange realm that was supposedly beneath the Earth itself. It was a plausible theory, perhaps this Yasu would explain to her later on.

For that moment then, Minerva had to focus her attention on her new acquaintance. He took a necklace from his own neck, quickly tying it around hers, and leaning in to whisper what its purpose was. Just as he had pulled away, she placed her hand on his hand, which at the moment was being displayed to her in shackles. With that she had created a link between them, and sent her message. 'My name is Minerva. I am of the tribe Orr. Deal with the centaur as you may... I'll put my trust in you.' Having that said and done, she pulled her slender hand away, watching as the man jumped down to face this new stranger.

Minerva didn't expect that Yasuhiko would end up being so pompous with the hoofed woman, actually slightly offended herself from his tone. But then again his reasoning was just. Not only had the centaur jumped to conclusions about him (what was a kitsune anyway?) but she also did seem to act as if she had the right to ask what business the two were here on. She didn't really.

Once more the elf was caught off guard, however, as she was suddenly claimed to be the foxman's wife and carrier of his child. Though there was a soft blush upon her grayed cheeks, she didn't protest, seeing as it would be safer not to let anyone know from where and whom she had run away. Simply pretend she was his wife, and perhaps no questions would be asked.

... My mangled flesh is beyond your appetite."

When the fox started to flap his arrogant tone, The female Centaur simply cocked her head back in disbelief. "I did not claim these lands as my own, I am the follow of such gods and was given the rightful duty in protecting them." She snapped back the moment the fox ended his last sentence. She then began to backed herself up to but some space between her and this new founded...kitsune he said? And gave a quick glance towards the female. Even with her keen eye sight, that elf was nowhere near pregnant, nor about to give birth. As to why this fox deemed it wise to lie to a noble creature like Ria'ko was mind boggling.

"Lying to me wont make this situation any easier on yourself. You came into Centaur territory, I it's defender, it's taker, and you dare have the audacity to tell me that I have no rights in these woods?" Her tone raised only slightly to declare her irritation of this fox thing. Had he approached this a better way, maybe it would have turned for the better, but from the looks of it, Ria'ko's anger might get the best of her. But, we shall see. As of now, the woman took in a deep breath before exhaling out slowly. "If you are not the ones destroying these woods, killing the innocent lives here, causing decay, then prey tell, who might it be?"

She knew neither would know, and with a huff she walked over to the tree where the innocent elf stood. She placed her hands to the oak and closed her eyes. "Ah, yes....so that's why they sing...." She said calmly. It was as if the forest itself spoke to her, saying that this man alone had a noble heart, and this woman with her troubles yet pure as snow...That would explain her skin tone, so she was not from this area at all...Shaking her head some, her hand lowered back to her side. "You're allowed to stay...for now. But, if you so choose to foolishly harm this sacred forest..." Ria'ko trailed off before looking over her left shoulder back to the fox. "I will kill you...." With that, Ria'ko continued down the path, now in search for this other new comer who also invaded her forest. This one might be the reason to why the forest is so unnerved...

Don't fret my dear one....

Yasu widened his eyes as heard heard the echoing of the elf's name inside his head. That same old feeling in the fox's stomach had happened again, causing the poor man to hold his stomach as he tried to figure out what was wrong with him. Turning his head back up to Minerva, he squinted his eyes, seeing if she was using so sort of magic to make him feel this way. He shook his head while facing the centaur again. Yasu almost burst out in laughter as the centaur was given the 'duties' to be a protector of the forest. He knew that gods could very well take care of their own lands. Although she didn't claim these lands, why would she question them so much to the point of threatening?

The kitsune bit his tongue as she accused him of lying. How would she even know? There was no way that woman could tell the elf was pregnant or not. Sure she didn't look like there was anything in there but she could be very well just one week along. "Hmm I do indeed question the ownership of these lands, but to call me a liar? That is uncalled for. She is merely a week along and we both decided to come out here to rejoin our true nature," Yasu exclaimed as a bit of irritation was added to his tone. He watched the centaur move over to the tree and place her hand on it, as if she could listen to the tree. He raised an eyebrow in confusion, the woman was surely crazy for talking to these trees...

His eyes flared red as the centaur threatened him, "I'd like to see you try..." Luckily for him though, the woman left, leaving the two to themselves. Yasu looked up to Minerva, as his eyes returned back to an icy blue. He jumped back up to her, put an arm around the back of her knees and his other arm around her back. He jumped down from the tree and landed beside the campfire, creating a rock hut big enough for the two of them. The fire's smoke could still escape through the top of the hut, to prevent and cloud of smoke. Yasu placed her down by the fire and quickly moved to the other side of the room, eying the elf. "What magic did you create back there? Why are there these knot things in my stomach?" He questioned as he proceeded to poke his stomach.

Minerva Orr ~ The Runaway

"Pray, don't come closer...

Minerva watched with curiosity as the centaur and Yasu went off at each other, with accusations of lies and threats going between them, until finally the female left them in peace. It was comforting to know that the centaur wasn't going to bother them, at least until they hurt the forest. But, being an elf, Minerva couldn't bring herself to do such a thing in the first place. So they were safe.

A moment after the centaur had left, however, Minerva was shocked to feel herself being lifted up by Yasuhiko, and then brought down to the ground below. For the few moments that she was in his arms, it was all she could do to burrow her face in his shoulder, out of fear of falling. When he set her down, she found herself sitting within a stone structure that had not been there the last time she looked. It was a small hut-type formation that had a hole at the top to help vent smoke from the small fire in the center, but was roomy enough for her to lay down in and be able to be comfortable. It was quite nice, and proved that her new partner was skilled with his Dengen.

Minerva soon noticed that the kitsune was eying her from the across the campfire, seeming a bit confused and intrigued in his expression. When he questioned the magic she had made in the tree, at first the elf believed he meant the mental link she had created, but a moment later he clarified it to be a knotting in his stomach. This caused the woman to giggle a bit, glancing away with a rather suspicious smile. She remembered that years ago, when her best friend had found herself a mate, that she would complain of having strange sensations in her stomach when he was around. It seemed to the elf that Yasu was going through the same thing. "It was not my doing." She stated simply after a moment, still with a smile upon her face.

... My mangled flesh is beyond your appetite."

Feros had been walking for a while now in the wood's and he hadn't really gotten anywhere. He moved his hand to the back of his head and rubbed it before sighing. He scanned his eye's now and really wanting to find daylight he looked up and could see none of it at all. The trees covered everything here so it was ridiculous for him.

Coming to a stop Feros decided that taking a rest for a while was a good reason. He was getting sick of walking and his leg's were getting that tiring feeling so when he slowed his pace and looked for a place to rest for a while he leaned down and grabbed a few stick's. He was thinking of making a small fire to warm himself up so collecting some sticks would do the trick. He gathered them over to a little opening so that the fire wouldn't spread onto anything else nearby and then getting some rocks he placed them in a circle, put the sticks in the middle and bashing two rocks together until he got a spark he waited until it fell onto the sticks. He couldn't see a flame yet so gently he blew at the spark till it came to light. Smiling at a little accomplishment he sat down and watched the flames grow.
