Claus watched Siren leave with a smirk, head shaking. Perhaps Niyola could finally relax. Perhaps she'd stop crying, hopefully. He would need to tell her of the bet, which she wouldn't be too thrilled. However, she knew how he felt about Siren and would be more than happy if Siren returned in a month, and as his mate.
No. That wouldn't be the term he would make Siren follow. That was disgusting, forcing someone to be your mate. Sighing at his own morals, Claus turned his head and headed for home.

Siren was about to visit Claus. He had kept his promise, well, there was still a week left, but he had kept it so far. He had promised, and now Siren was going to make sure Claus hadn't lied.
Siren lived in a cave nearby, he still hadn't returned to their cave despite him saying he would. he still didn't trust Claus, it was obvious, and until the bet was accomplished he would be living inside his own cave for the time being. He'd return to Claus and Niyola when he had a reason to, and Claus understood that, it seemed. So he had been told. So, he would visit Claus every other day and make sure he was keeping his promises.

Claus lounged inside the cave, tail flicking lazily as he watched outside. He was waiting for the male, he had a feeling Siren would be visiting, though if only a feeling. Siren never really told him when he'd appear, but he knew it was about every other day.
So he waited. He was growing antsy. He wanted to see Siren, he wanted to finish this damn bet. Just a week, he kept telling himself. Only a week. Yet a week felt so damn long in his eyes, it felt so stupidly long as he waited and counted the days. It was hard not to run off and find someone, mostly because he wanted the comfort of someone warm. He wanted that person to be Siren, though, however as the days went by he started to wonder if the other even would see him as anything more than a pest. What if that was all he was to Siren, a pest?

Siren padded right up to his old home, nose twitching as he spotted the annoying male within the cave. Niyola was nowhere to be seen, sadly, and so this meant Claus and Siren were alone. Alone. A word he was not entirely sure he wanted to utter when it came to Claus. Why? Because it was hard to remind himself that they were no longer like before. They were not as they were before all of this, and now they'd be alone together. Again.
"Claus. Get up and greet your guests properly." Siren growled. He knew what that meant. Claus liked to greet with a kiss on the cheek with others, and he almost... No. No. His tail lashed lazily, refusing the idea that perhaps he wouldn't mind if Claus did so. No. He would mind! He always had, and he would continue to do so!

"Yeah yeah." With this he rose, padding up to Siren briefly. He almost gave his familiar greeting, stopping as instead he brushed against Siren, sighing deeply at the others warmth. He knew he'd be swatted at, perhaps clawed in the face, but he didn't care. Not now. Besides, Siren had asked for a greeting...
Padding back to where he laid down previously he flopped onto his side, glancing up the male. "Why are you visiting?" Of all the things he could think of he doubted the answer would be because the other missed him, despite his wishes. No. It'd be something more along the lines of 'I don't trust you'. He knew it. Still, a man could wish, couldn't he?
