H3lblad3 This is important. Seat belts are DANGEROUS. People who wear seat belts feel safer and often drive more reckless because of it. It increases the rate of harmful damage in road accidents because of this. Always drive safe for conditions. And don't assume that your seat belt will save your life. If you start pushing the limits because "Oh, well, my seat belt will save me", you could hurt yourself. Okay, Bananas? h3l, have you ever seen Zombieland? They're rule 3, man.

Haven't seen it. But I could link you to an article in the Times that agrees with me. razz
And yes, I wrote what I wrote under the assumption that seat belts would be worn anyway. They should be. They save lives... sometimes. And it's the law. The point was that seat belts make people feel safe and thus they drive too recklessly... in many cases nullifying the life-saving capabilities of the belts.

Granted, our state allows driving at 14.
