Why the hell does all the awesome stuff happen when I'm not here, huh? >.<
Anyway, ideas so far are highly enjoyed by me - and as long as it doesn't end up too close to the Shepherd of the Damned thing that I'll be writing up sometime in the next few weeks I swear, I will stalk it and probably join it. <3 After I join all the other ones I said I would join. >.>
But not today. Because sleepy. Soooooo sleepy.

Read them all in a weeeeek!
Lets see,
Hush, Hush has three books in the series.
Plus the Merlin series has four or five.
Then the Pendragon series (best, ever) has nine or ten.
So thats 16-18 books? Yeah, that's not hard.

I enjoyed all of your ideas! I came up with a basic idea during gym class while I was sitting on my lonesome, riding the bikes, haha.
Tell me what you think, I kinda quickly wrote it out during chem, so..
Your Guardian Angel:
Believe it or not, they exist. They come down from Heaven to watch over human beings who need it most, and they stay with them until the human dies. The humans know they're there--at least, the ones they are guarding do, and they have to keep the secret from those who do not have one of their own. For hundreds of years, life went on this way. Peaceful. However, all good must come to an end somehow, and even the best must fall.
As the Angels remain on Earth, they have grown attached to the humans. Being on Earth has made them realize how many people truly are suffering. They pray for God in their times of need, but God hasn't been there for them.
"Who cares?" an Angel once asked one of the Guardians, who had briefly returned to Heaven to consult this issue with them. "They have tainted you, Brother. They do not deserve God's love."
That was when the Guardian Angels knew that Heaven had been corrupted. God was supposed to love everyone. There was no love, here. So, they rebelled. They had done the unthinkable: Angels had defied God.
"How could you live with yourself?! You are an abomination!"
"There is no God. Not anymore."
The Guardian Angels were to be punished for their "sins." However, they escaped to Earth, returning to the humans. The Angels in Heaven, meanwhile, descended down to Earth in order to hunt the rebels down. The Guardian Angels were forced to hide and blend in with the humans, all the while preparing themselves for a potential war with Heaven. They were becoming more human to top it all off. They were still powerful, but their brain patterns were changing. They craved food like humans did. They felt emotions like humans did. They felt love. Their human vessels' interests were slowly becoming their own.
If things get any worse, the human race may need to get involved. The Guardian Angels wish to avoid this in order to keep as many lives safe as possible. The war has only just begun.
