Rav's smile brightened at Loki's agreement and he down the rest of his drink in one gulp, placing the empty glass back down on the counter. If he was being honest, Loki was the first person he had ever asked out, after he ran away from his hometown and pursuers after his secret, he never really settled down. He was always hopping from one place to the other, so he figured it'd be pointless to start a relationship with someone when he wouldn't be around long and he couldn't ask someone he loved to live a life as dangerous and unsure as the one he was living. But this year was different, It had been a while since anyone had come after him so he would be staying in this town for a long time.

Loki's next words caught him off guard and he immediately gave his full attention to the blond. He read the younger males expression and saw no sign of a come on in his eyes just sincerity. He smiled warmly and nodded "If you can get past the slight disarray in my home then I don't mind getting a one night roommate" he said playfully then added in his mind or longer.

Rav watched Loki stand and stretch his lithe form, he slide out of his seat as well and gave a nod the Loki's question. "Of course, I'd hate to keep you from your beauty sleep, not that you need it" he teased. He followed behind Loki appreciating the view, and slipped his hand comfortably into his pockets. His stride was lazy but held a cocky bounce to it.

At Loki's inquiry of his age he became aware that he was also oblivious to the age of the small blond "I'm 23" he answer smoothly though he had to admit that it felt weird to be asked that, after all it had been a long time since anyone had inquired personally information about and vice verse, but despite the oddity of it, it was a welcome change. "and you?" he asked, canting his head to the side in curiosity.

Rav exited the bar and inhaled the fresh night air, loving the way the wind moved over his skin. The bar had been warmer than he liked so his heated body greedily welcomed the cool breeze. He watched the wind ruffle the small boys locks and he laughed as a few strands fluttered over his eyes. He reached out and gentle tucked them behind Loki's ears "there" he said smiling softly.

Loki's idea intrigued him and he grinned "let's see..." he leaned forward until his face was only a few inches away from Loki's he tapped his chin in thought and examined the boys feature intently. despite Loki's way of dress he could tell the male was young but definitely in his teens. He considered Loki's appearance and recalled his mannerism, hmm if he had to guess he'd say either 16 or 17. He looked closer and accessed Loki's boyish features no...he's younger than 16 it's not easily seen cause he hides it so well "hmmm...17!" he announced grandly leaning back, he knew he was wrong but somehow he felt like he might offend the younger male by so easily seeing past his efforts to disguise his age.

Travis returned Loki's grin with one of his own, glad to see the males spirits were still high, he knew instantly that his choice to guess incorrectly had been the right thing to do. "hmm, if I didn't know better I'd say you set me up to lose" he teased so i was right he thought to himself but despite the conformation Travis attitude toward the youth stayed the same as before. Travis was neither surprised nor aroused by the aspect of dating someone so young, well they weren't dating yet but he'd be lying if he said he did want to spend time with Loki and see if they were compatible after all the attraction was already there so now he just need to find out if there was any romance between them, Travis wasn't the type to let age or looks crowd his judgment he like Loki cause Loki was Loki, if that made sense.

"So do I at least get a prize of participation?" he asked continuing to joke with Loki as they walked down the street that would soon lead to his house. it had gotten considerable darker but he wasn't worried, the town wasn't a particularly dangerous one and if some creep who had, had one to many got any funny ideas, he'd soon be in world of pain. Every since people started hunting for his life he'd made sure to train himself in several different fighting styles.

Travis laughed lightly as Loki pecked him on the cheek and cast the youth a playful grin "we'll have to play this game more often" he teased. He was feeling exhilarated and carefree, enjoying Loki's company immensely. It had been so long since he was able to truly relax and banter with an individual, and he hadn't realized how much he'd missed it until now. He noticed Loki moved closer and smiled to himself wondering if the younger male was enjoying his presence as much as he was.

Travis didn't pick up on it right away but after awhile he tensed a familiar feeling coming over him. He'd been followed to many times to miss to subtle hints of a pursuit, yes no doubt about it they were being followed. He relaxed his body as to not tip off the unknown person following close behind but inwardly rage was boiling to a high level dammit! why now of all times! he thought angrily. He gave Loki a glance but his companion didn't seem to notice their situation.

He knew a dark alleyway was coming up and he would have to past through there to get to his house no doubt whoever is following us will attack there . It didn't take long for Rav to and Loki to reach the darkened alley and sure enough the footsteps of whoever was following them speed up. The person was closing in. Travis took a steadying breath and spun as soon as the stalker came up behind them he reached out with a tight fist effectively making contact with the persons stomach.

Travis watched in shock as Loki whipped out a pistol and shot the man is cold blood. He didn't know what was more shocking, the fact that Loki had a gun, the fact that he could shot someone without a second thought or the fact that Loki's entire mannerism seemed to change. It was as if he was watching a different person commit the brutal act. He turned wide eyes to the now dead man on the pavement and fought hard to keep his calm, after all it wasn't every day you get to see someone send a steel ball through someone skull.

Travis reached out and took the papers Loki handed him and looked down at the content, true enough his face was plastered smack dab in the middle and other information about him was typed out below it. He let out a vile curse and crushed the paper in his grip. Just when he'd thought he'd finally got rid of them and that he could maybe settle down- he growled and stopped that trail of thought. It was obvious he'd never live a normal life so it was plain he should stop trying to. He turned the Loki and cast the young boy a serious a slightly cold look, "considering our friend here is beginning his journey to the afterlife i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say your not the average 15 year old boy, so mind telling just exactly what your doing here and what do you want with me?"

Travis watched Loki with a guarded expression and listened to his explanation it made sense but he wasn't sure if he could trust Loki or not. A few minutes ago he was walking and laughing with a sweet and lovely boy and the in the next he was standing beside a coldblooded killer. So now he couldn't help feeling like something about his story was off. He'd learned after years on the run not to trust people easily, humans were vain and selfish creatures and most of the time they'd have no problem ratting you out or betraying you if it benefited them.

He saw Loki's tears and couldn't help the wave of tenderness that washed over him. What was he doing? Here he was taking bad experiences from his past and using it the judge a obviously innocent boy. Besides it wasn't like the now dead man was guiltless, he was trying to attack them after all and now that he was taking the time to think calmly he realized it wouldn't be strange for Loki to own a gun most people around here did.

He knelt in front of Loki and pulled him close. He gave a tired sigh and looked down at the blond, "I'm sorry Loki, I didn't mean to get mad at you, it's just..." he gritted his teeth know he couldn't tell Loki about the people pursuing him "...somethings in my life right now keep me on the edge and suspicious of everyone" he gave the boy a lop sided grin trying to ease the tension. He took Loki's hand and helped him to his feet "Come on, let's get out of here before we draw attention to ourselves. You can stay at my place tonight but you have to leave first thing tomorrow morning" he was serious and he looked Loki straight in the eye, making sure the younger male understood he wasn't playing around.

If he could have it his way he would keep Loki with him but they had found him again and this man with the first of many. He had to leave town again and there was no way he could as Loki to come with him it was unreasonable and dangerous.
