Event smiled at the sheperd. "Don't worry you'll do fine. And we'll be here to back you up just encase." He looked to Poison, "stay here please, I'm going to scout around the yard...make sure she can't make a brake for it. If Vegas needs help back him up but if he tells you to get to safety, run." With that he was off. He did a perimeter search of her front yard then went into the neighbors yard and stood on his back limbs so he could see over the fence. He saw an empty yellow grassed yard was a rickety fence in the back. He didn't like this, it had a hole in the back left corner. Teeana could use it to get away if she wanted to.
He hopped down and went around to the front was Poison was.

Forget me not didnt notice they were catching onto her. Being as quiet as she could, she moved after the group, keeping to the shadows and finding cover where she could. What were they searching for? So far she hadnt found out anything that may explain the trouble the original police dog was speaking of. She didnt like trouble, not at all. So she kind of hoped they found nothing...

With the two police dogs off doing their thing, Poison had a chance to take in the surroundings. The house looked a little run down, but inhabited the same. The grass in front hadn't been mowed in a while, so maybe the humans were either lazy, or just didn't stay home very much.
After watching the shepherd nosing around the house and then go up to the front door, he stood and walked closer slowly, stepping up onto the bottom step of the porch. "Any sign of her?" he asked in a whisper. He then noticed Event coming back around the house. "I thought I saw someone inside, but could have been mistaken." he said.

The almost subvocal sound of a low snarl spread across the yard, and a towering Great Dane stepped out of the shed where he'd been taking cover. It was obvious he was tired of hiding, and he was rearing for a fight. His dirty coat an torn ear make it pretty obvious he's a stray, probably one of the ones from the pack.
HP: 20Quote: Read the battle thread and attack! This dog could be a part of the stray pack and needs to be taken down! When it's HP hits zero, I suggest you use a restraining collar. Please only attack once, then wait for me to post again.

Poison's ears perked at the growling sound and he whipped his head in the direction of the new dog. "Woah! Where'd he come from?" he said, crouching into an attack position. This dog was bigger than Poison, but he thought he could take him. Without waiting for the police dogs, he ran at the other dog, teeth bared and tried to tackle him.

The sound of growling caused Vegas to whip his head around and upon doing so he saw Poison rushing headlong into confrontation with the stray. This doesn't look good! he thought as he kicked into action and raced forward to provide cover for his teammate. A quick feign to the right and then a circle back to the left gave him the opening he was looking for and he lunged at the stray. He made contact with the stray and rammed into him full force aiming more to throw him off balance and distract him from Poison than anything else.

The stray had been prepared to take on Poison, feet spread and stable, but the feign to the right confused him and he had to refocus, this time on Vegas. His powerful jaws snapped, once, twice, and then he had a hold on Vegas and squeezed.

Dispite the fact that she was terrified of other dogs, and you could guess her feelngs against fighting by just looking at her scarred body and shredded ear, Forget me not lept from her hiding place and darted down the road to launch an attack at the slightly smaller dog, trying to get it to let go of the dog in its jaws.

Connecting with the stray, he bounced off and regrouped himself. He saw that Vegas was now in the stray's grasp, and readied himself for another attack. Something blue out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. Another dog had shown up! He started to lunge towards this newcomer, thinking it another enemy, but stopped himself when he saw it try and help Vegas. "What the?!" he grumbled, then looked back to Vegas and the stray. He aimed for the tail of the stray dog and tried to bite down with his teeth.

Vegas stifled a yelp as he felt teeth digging into his flesh at his shoulder. He had succeeded in distracting the stray but not in successfully keeping himself out of reach. With a snarl he whipped his head to the side and snapped his jaws shut hoping to clamp down on his attacker.

Even tho everything was happening so fast, everything seemed to slow down for Event. He was just coming back around the corner or the house when he saw the Dane clamping his jaws down onto Vegas. He cursed as he bound over to the attacker, aiming to knock him over with a body check and become the many focus of it's attacks if he could help it. One because he was just a bit bigger them him and two because he would never forgive himself if something worse happened to a team mate he promised to protect none of the less.

The Dane's growls only got loud as the weight of several dogs began to make it difficult for him to move. He let go of Vegas and shook of his attackers, feeling weak from the onslaught of damage, but he still had some fight left in him. Feigning an attack at Event, he instead turned to his fellow stray, seeing her as a weak point, and went for her muzzle.
HP: 7

Poison rolled away from the dog pile after being shaken off. He stood and recovered, baring teeth and jumping back into the fray. This time, he used his weight to try and pin the big dane and knock him off the blue wolfhound.

Forget me not yelped as the dane's teeth sunk into her muzzle, shaking her head to dislodge him she snapped at him quickly before dashing away for some cover, her tail tucked between her legs.

Landing on his side with a thump after being shaken off by the Dane Vegas shook his head and rose to his paws. He was about to attack when the Dane lunged forward and caught the blue wolfhound by the muzzle. He rushed forward just as she shook him off and aimed straight for the throat of his opponent, teeth bared and an gleam in his eyes. As he attacked Vegas wondered, briefly, where the wolfhound had come from and if she was OK but that would have to wait, he still had a job to do in bringing down the stray Dane.
